The Ours In Another Story
43. Tantrums

Sunday is a day that is very much awaited by almost everyone. But there are also some people who still have to continue working on Sundays. Like Rere and Jevan for example. Printing Jevan and Boutique Rere never closed on Sundays. But there is no harm in them being happy because Sunday is the only day their daughter Nafiza will be at home and playing together with her parents.

Since last night Jevan had imagined would take Rere and Nafiza to walk, but not yet the sun showed all the light of the Jevando family residence was excited because Rere who kept vomiting in the bathroom. Nafiza so follow crying even though Jevan has been holding it. She was afraid because she saw Mama like so much pain when Rere had shown his best acting so that this daughter did not worry. But how else, Rere's pale face could not be invited to lie. Nafiza even said her mother's face today was like the face of her great-grandfather who died 2 months ago.

“Kak already crying yes, cup cup,” said Jevan trying to calm his daughter.

“Fear Mama,” says Nafiza.

“Pa, brother brought to the room first dong. Don't be here pity,” said Rere in between his nausea.

“Nmobile. Want to be with Mama. Nafiza is afraid Mama why-napa,” this time Nafiza revolted asking to get down from her Papa sling in order to be close to Mama.

Rere braced himself, he washed his mouth and gargled afterwards asking Nafiza from her Papa sling. She brings Nafiza who is still crying to sit with her on the living room sofa while Jevan to the kitchen makes warm tea for Rere.

Rere held Nafiza who still continued to cry for fear of Mama why. Nafiza even beat up Papa Jevan because Papa he considered breaking a promise. Jevan remembers promising Nafiza that she would be given a sister without making Mama sick but this morning she had to see for herself how her mother struggled with severe morning sickness.

“Bad papa, naughty Papa, Papa doesn't keep promises, Papa is a liar,” said Nafiza kept beating Jevando.

“Kak, don't love, shtt.., Nafiza. Hey dengerin Mama talk first,” said Rere tried to calm his daughter even though it ended in failure. The more Rere tried to hug and calm his daughter, the more she cried. Nafiza even revolted as the anxious Rere began to forcibly detain Nafiza.

Jevando was afraid that Nafiza was getting out of control and then kicked her stomach finally she forced Nafiza out of Rere's embrace and then took her forcibly into the room. Rere had wanted to catch up but when he was about to stand up suddenly his head felt so dizzy and his stomach cramps made him fall down just like that.

“Mas..., Mas Jev big brother don't get scolded,” said Rere who could only shout from where he sat.

Inside Nafiza's room, Jevan dropped her daughter off and knelt down to let Nafiza continue beating her arms and chest. After Nafiza got tired and stopped, she approached her daughter again and slowly patted Nafiza's back to calm down. Want how else, since still the baby this child if the tantrum will be very difficult to calm down. All Jevan and Rere can do is let her vent emotions while keeping her safe in her place.

“Kak, sorry Papa yes,” says Jevando.

“Papa wicked terribly. Nafiza does not want to be with Papa,” he said still while still a little.

“Nafiza can be angry with Papa as much as Nafiza wants, but don't make Mama sicker. If you cry, Mama becomes sad continues to get sicker. Honey, my mom is not really sick. Believe the same Papa, Mama is just another stomach rub. You see, if your stomach is full later so narrow, Mama vomits it just because it reduces the stomach contents of Mama kok. Later if the adek is already tasty on your stomach, Mama will not vomit again. Mama will be fine. From the brother crying rich gini now brother help Papa aja to keep Mama let Mama same brother healthy continue,” said Jevan trying to explain with language understood by his daughter.

“Truly Mama didn't hurt Pa?” ask Nafiza who is still as excited.

“Believe. But why did Mama's face turn so white?” tanyanya slow.

Jevan smiles. He wiped his daughter's tears with both thumbs. His eyes were red and still very watery, "no papa, Nafiza need not be afraid. Papa's son is very smart. Mama will also be back to how she was. Now that Nafiza's been crying we're out and hugging Mama ok?" bring Jevan.

Nafiza nodded then tried to wipe away her tears as she did not want Mama to see her cry. After a little more calm, Jevan helped his daughter drink water from a bottle that he always carried everywhere to meet Mama who could only sit limp on the sofa.

“Mama...,” said Nafiza who directly climbed onto Rere's lap.

“Sorry sister. Sister makes Mama sad yes,” said Nafiza.

“Nno love. Pinter's son help take care of sister huh. Mama can't take care of it alone. Mama needs help from her brother Papa,” said Rere. Nafiza nodded then she entered back into Mama's arms.

Jevan kissed Nafiza's forehead and then Rere's forehead before she stepped into the kitchen intending to make something for them to eat, “Ma, want to eat what you're not feeling nauseous about,” says Jevan.

“No idea Pa, no longer want to eat anything. My tongue is bitter,” replied Rere.

“But if you don't eat later you're getting sluggish. Eat yes forced little,” says Jevan.

“Mas, search soto yuk. But soto kuah clear. Maybe if I eat it I am not nauseous,” said Rere.

“Ya come on, get ready. Brother also take a shower first,” take Jevan.

"Bathletes with Mama?"

"By, yuk. Shower with Mama and Mama sampoin hair sister already hmm the smell is not good," seduced Rere.

Nafiza immediately held onto her head and tried to keep the smell from her hair from spreading throughout the room, "Mama.

Rere laughed, he kissed Nafiza's head and cheeks before finally holding his daughter and going into the bathroom. In the room was just a smiling Jevan. Her happiness was as simple as seeing her two beauties being able to be happy and laugh together. It felt as if his world had turned as beautiful as heaven as soon as Rere and Nafiza heard their laughter. He felt very grateful because among Jeffrey's 3 sons he was the only one who was blessed with an angel as beautiful and sweet as Nafiza.
