Chapters 20. One Sided Love's

As I walked in and pushed her, a smile still plastered on Geral's face. In fact, now panic is still attacking me. He looks calm\-quiet when now really\- freaked out.

“What's up?” there was a hint of confusion in his voice.

“Sir Alex came here,” I whispered slowly.

“Alex?”

“Yes, that Alex!” my words cut the question.

Geral sounded sighing, but I didn't care at all. The thing I'm thinking about now is what reason I should tell Alex if he gets to see Geral. Before I explain everything, he'll definitely make an accusation. It's not that I can't defend myself, but the arguments are so often on target that it makes it hard to think clearly. Maybe I'm stupid, but the fact is that any argument I think will fall apart instantly. That's what has always happened.

“Enza!”

Alex's voice was heard even when I couldn't hide half of Geral's body. Now I'm really\-completely caught off guard. I hurriedly\hurried to release a hug and cleared my throat softly. Trying to look ordinary. Although honestly this is hard.

“Who is he?” ask Alex directly without further ado\-nausea as I feared earlier.

“It's me, Ger–”

“Rael!” I cut Geral's sentence.

That name just came out because as I remember last night this young man mentioned his name. Even though it stammered\-brick I can catch that his name is Rael. If it's wrong, it's okay, anyway he won't know the important thing I survived now.

“Rael?” Alex frowned. He really\-looks confused.

 “Iya, Rael.”

I smiled faintly to further convince the statement I just said. Now when he glanced at Geral, the young man looked back at me. His eyes also implied astonishment. As her lips were about to move, I immediately pulled her fingers. Squeezing it as hard as his\-strong on purpose, hoping he knew that now was not the time to talk honestly.

“Who is he?”

 “New employee,” I chuckle after mentioning another very unfunny lie.

“Since when do you have an employee?”

The question sounded bad in the ear, he didn't seem to like it whether I suddenly had a new employee or about the gender of the employee. However, one thing I can be sure of is that Alex has already started interrogation mode. The annoying thing is actually because once the wrong talk then it's over. I know his profession as a lawyer might make him very critical so maybe looking at things down to the smallest detail becomes a habit beyond his awareness. The advantages that often make me amazed when he explained the plot of the film we watched. However, if I could I really want to curse his ability to be a stone right now.

“A week ago.” Another lie came back rolling easier than I thought.  

All three lies have just been said and I don't know how many more there will be. First, it wasn't Rael in the body, it was Geral. Second, Geral was definitely not a new employee. Third, the duration. Geral's been with me for over a month. He's not here for a week like I just said.

“Why didn't you say? He's a guy, Enza!”

I'm down. Geral's hand this time alternately squeezed my finger. It seems that he was trying to calm me down, therefore I should dare to face this. If I step back this way then I probably won't be able to keep Geral by my side and I don't want any of that to happen.

“I think Brother is busy.” the first time I said honestly. After all, fighting Alex is an act that will end in vain.

Alex breathed a rough breath. His jaw was hardened and his nostrils were sauteed. He put his hands on his waist, turned around and held his forehead. I'm back down. My brother looked like he was going to explode in a matter of seconds.

“Let go of him!”

Allow. I know him very well, he must have exploded if there was anyone he knew and touched me–even though I gave permission. He was quite possessive, but I did not have the courage to rebuke him. Sometimes I think this way is also a form of attention.

“I said let go!” repeat Alex again.

 I snorted softly as my brother forcibly removed my finger link and Geral. He even pulled me behind his back as if I were a soft object that could be injured when it came into contact with a man.

“Enza, follow Brother!” his orders were heard affirming by calling out his position.

“Alright,” sahutku reluctant. However, there was nothing I could do but obey him.

I looked towards Geral. He nodded as if to say that we would be fine\-all. I smiled to explain that I understood. I hope he understands all these strange situations and we can protect each other.

Alex halted his steps and turned his head back towards Geral. “You wait here!”

“Good, Sir,” said Geral politely.

I followed Alex who was now walking back home. His hands were clenched and clearly he looked angry.

“Tell me what really happened!” blow it when I just positioned my ass on the couch.

“She works for me, that's all and no other explanation.” I'm still trying to kink.

Alex looked at me in disbelief. I now look back on it as a\-sticky, still showing that I speak the truth even though I am stringing lies.  

“Listen Enza, Sister doesn't forbid you from getting in touch with anyone. But please don't risk yourself!”

“What a danger, he only works here and nothing more!”

“Workers say, but you guys live at home? I'm interested to hear your explanation of this.” Alex looked at me clingy\-sticky. Those brown eyes flashed furiously.

I'm woken. Everything has been revealed. I bit my lip, it's impossible to say that the soul in Rael's body is Geral.

“Sister misunderstood.” My voice swallowed, while my heart was pounding.

Alex took a heavy breath. “Kakak does not accuse. There's a man's shirt, underwear, toothbrush and it doesn't belong to Brother,” accuse Alex of being sharp.

“Geral?”

“Ya.” I'm staring at Alex. Sweat began to puff up in the pores of his\-pores of his forehead. The man is now massaging the temple. He sighed then looked at the ceiling\-ceiling.

“Oh, Lord...,” his murmur repeatedly\-repeated. “Lord.”

I don't know why he suddenly remembered God. But as far as I know he also rarely mentions the name of God even in precarious situations. Meanwhile, I played the fingers and twisted them. Too scared to wait for his next reaction. Alex was getting frustrated.  

“Listen, Brother knows Geral's death is heavy for you but that doesn't mean you have to bring a foreign man to live with you.” Alex's voice sounds softened.

“I told you that we didn't live together, Brother misunderstood,” I said again.

“You sure? I think you're lying right now,” he accused.

“No,” my mouth again still lies.

“Then fire him!”

“Sister Alex!” my voice this time swooped high. He really\-is already outrageous.

“You can fire him, I will change another employee for you,” he said again sounding persuasive.

“What's the problem with that employee?” many finally.

“Not about Enza's employees, he's a guy. You don't know the danger with men in one place–”

“And Brother will find a female employee for me instead?” cut me down quickly before he finishes his sentence.

“Iya, there is a problem with it.”

My fingers that were originally twisting each other started to clench on the lap now. Alex is really\-right. “Of course there is a problem.”

“Try explaining your problem!”

“The female employee will not be able to lift the goods, she will not be able to help install the lights or maybe justify the leaking roof. So I need Rael.”

“I'll find a woman who can justify many things. How?”

“No. I want Rael. Don't want another.” I looked him directly in the eyes. Really\-wanted to make it clear that he can't interfere with this.

Alex looked flabbergasted, it seemed like he still could not believe that I was against him. “You have never used an employee before, why suddenly\ suddenly?”

“I'm lonely,” I tukasku without a doubt.

“What?”

“I said I was lonely.” my tone of voice is higher. I want him to know, understand that I need someone else here with me. Even if it's just a ghost.

“There's a Sister, Enza. Brother is always beside you.” Alex patted his chest.

“Do you want to stay here?” I said while looking at him. Maybe I can end this debate forever. I took a breath before I started talking.  “If you want to be here, I'll fire him. Fair enough, right?”

Alex looked at me confused. “Then it–”

“Don't have an answer? My brother always has no time. Brother thought I didn't know that you guys purposely exiled me in this house!” I cut his sentence and almost screamed right now.

“Nobody alienates you.” his voice sounds softened. Alex moved closer and cupped my cheek. After that he pulled my head to look at her.

“Then take me to your house!”

“Enza!” Alex sounds desperate. Rough breaths blew from both nostrils.

“That's impossible, isn't it? Don't force me anymore or I refuse to meet you!”

Now I stand up. However, Alex grabbed my body, wrapped her arms around her shoulders to hug me from behind. His hand stuck out in front of my chest. I took a slow breath. His head is resting on his shoulders. His breathing filled his ears. I know this is hard for him.

“I love you, Enza!”

Silence greeted us. Only the rhythm of heavy breathing was heard. I know what Alex will say next. I knew for a long time that he loved me. His love is more like the one a man gives to his woman. But I try to deny all that.

 “I too, Brother.”

“I will never let you go.”

“I know,” I said kelu. “So about the employees finished here, right?”

“Ya.”

“Don't talk about this anymore!” lintaku–though more sounds like a threat.

He tightened his embrace. Her lips trace my ears. “Iya. But, you have to remember I will eliminate whoever takes you from me. So keep your employees well\-good!”

His voice entered my ears. My body suddenly goosebumps hearing her words just now. I bit my lips that started shaking. I don't know why his voice sounds more dangerous now.
