Chapter 7: Meeting an Ex

"Your punishment was doing social service in an orphanage every weekend for a month. Don't intend to avoid your punishment!" mr. Arnold said firmly.

Aiden can only duck. Today it feels very bad. Intending to prick his sister-in-law even make him hit by the stone.

"Aiden ...," call Arnold.

"Yes, Sir. I understand" he replied.

Aiden prefers to do social service compared to having to bring his parents on campus. His father and mother would definitely be very upset if he made trouble.

"Yes, then you can get out" said Mr. Arnold.

Aiden nodded. He then left the dean room while looking down. Being there already made him very embarrassed because there were many lecturers who saw.

When passing through the exit, he met Scarlett who was leaning casually against the wall while sucking a bottled drink. The corner of his lips clearly described the woman smiling as mocking to him.

Not long after, Mr. Arnold came out and approached Scarlett.

"Oh, thankfully you're still here. Why is it so hard to meet you?" murmured Arnold.

Before the watering incident, Arnold was intent on seeing Scarlett. He wanted to speak seriously after a few months of officially ending the relationship. The two had been in a relationship for two years, but were opposed by Arnold's mother on the grounds of different social status.

"Follow me!" pinta Arnold's.

She guides Scarlett into her room. He locked the door so that no one would carelessly enter and listen to their conversation.

"Where have you been?" ask Arnold. Despite the breakup, he still cares a lot about the woman.

"I'm not going anywhere, sir. Every day I go to college, right?" kilah Scarlett's.

Arnold seemed to be breathing. "That's not what I meant. After college, where did you go? Is it purposely avoiding me?"

"I'm busy making money, sir, to survive."

Scarlett's answer wasn't a lie. He has absolutely no intention of avoiding his ex-girlfriend. Despite the break-up, their relationship has been good. He can also accept if their love will not end well.

"If you need money, I've offered to help you, right? Then why are you refusing?" pissed Arnold.

Scarlett smiled. "For what do you bother to finance a woman who is nobody? Better to keep the money for the marriage capital or give it to your mother."

Arnold took a deep breath. "Scarlett, let's reverse it! Let's get married!" talk to him in a confident tone.

"Sorry, Sir. That's not possible. Your mother would be worried that her son's money would run out if she married me" Scarlett said.

Arnold got stunned by Scarlett's words. He knew that the woman must still feel hurt by her mother's words at that time.

"Scarlett, could you forget what my mother said back then? I apologize on his behalf. We can persuade him slowly to want to bless our relationship" Arnold said.

"I'm married, brother!"

Scarlett's words again surprised Arnold. A moment later, he laughed. "Is this your attempt to reject me? Come on, Scarlett, stop joking!"

He knew that during his breakup, Scarlett was never close to anyone. He also asked for a break up to give time and calm down. Now is the right time to repair the relationship.

"I'm serious, I'm married." Scarlett said it with a calm expression, making Arnold unable to accept the fact.

"Father should be realistic if our relationship is not going to last until marriage. Your mother obviously doesn't like me.

Arnold clenched his hand withstanding the vexation. "Then we should be fighting for our blessing. Shouldn't a relationship be like that?"

"I'm sorry. I've decided to marry someone else" Scarlett said.

Scarlett shakes. "If it's time, I'll introduce you to my husband, sir. Seriously, I'm married. So, you can stop worrying about me." he showed his sincerity in speaking.

Arnold was silent. Her belief in reciprocation had already been rejected outright by Scarlett. Even the woman said she was married.

"I'll excuse you then, sir. There's a class soon" said Scarlett.

"Mrs, come with me."

Just out of her last class, Scarlett was confronted by a well-dressed man. It was Zigra, her husband's assistant. He wondered why the man was there.

"What's up, huh?" tanyakanya.

"Master's waiting for you in the car."

Suddenly Scarlett's feelings immediately flowered. He couldn't help but show his happy smile. He doesn't know if Ethan is going to pick him up for college.

The man always looked cold and stiff. However, he is moved even though their marriage is a request of grandfather, but Ethan can do a simple sweet thing.

He followed Zigra walking towards the parking lot. Some people who knew Scarlett were astonished by the woman with a well-looking man.

"Who is Scarlett?"

"Maybe debtcollector. His family has a lot of debt."

"Great pity, I think he's a good boy, but his life is full of problems."

Such was the discordant voice Scarlett vaguely listened to. But he doesn't care about people's words.

"Please, Madam."

Zigra opens the car door, letting Scarlett in. He was honored to be treated well. In the car, Ethan is busy with his tablet. Even the man did not glance in the slightest towards Scarlett who was already sitting beside him.

"Thank you, yeah!" said Scarlett.

"Hem," replied Ethan briefly.

Scarlett did not expect the man to not respond properly to her thanks. He's a little upset. Unfortunately, he kissed the man sitting next to him.

"Hey! What the fuck, anyway!" upset Ethan. He did not expect the woman to kiss him. He looked resentfully at Scarlett while rubbing the woman's kiss marks.

"That's a sign of gratitude" Scarlett said with a smile. Finally the man could look at her.

"Thank you, thank you ... But there's no need to kiss everything!" ethan's grumble is still not accepted for kissing.

Scarlett wanted to bother him more and more. "Oh, what is less. Should I kiss you on the lips?" challenge her by bringing her face closer.

Ethan pulled his body back. The woman turned out to be aggressive and creepy, making her scared creeps.

"Zigra, help me! There's a crazy man here!" ethan called out to his assistant who was driving in the front seat.

Scarlett laughed out loud and managed to make Ethan afraid of her.

"When anyone talks, it's called, you're busy!" nagel Scarlett.

"Who is busy? I'm really busy! Lucky I could take the time to pick you up!" tympan Ethan.

Actually the man was very worried about Scarlett. He was afraid that his brother would do something to his wife. So, he asks Zigra to stop by the campus to pick Scarlett up from his wife and go home with Aiden.
