Chapter 4: The First Duty of a Wife

“Nona, room is here. Please login!”

The two servants who had accompanied Scarlett to change clothes stopped at the door of a room. They open it and let Scarlett inside.

Scarlett felt tense seeing Ethan already in the room. The man was sitting on the bed reading a book. Her heartbeats again felt tight, even the memory of their kiss when the pronunciation of the wedding vows is still clearly imagined.

With a feeling of anxiety and nervousness, he slowly stepped into the room. Door back

closed by the waiter. He panicked even more, considering that there were only the two of them inside. For a moment he halted his steps, fearing that Ethan would not be pleased with his presence there.

“Why stand there? Come here!” pinta Ethan is aware of the woman's presence.

Scarlett smiled awkwardly. He ventured back towards the bed. His head fell down while he was at the side of the bed.

“Good! Sit here!” ethan said again.

Although the man's facial expression was cold, Ethan seemed to be a caring man. Scarlett then followed the man's will, climbed into the bed and sat next to him despite feeling nervous and

bashful. This time he really didn't know what to do.

“Sounds like you're afraid of me?” guess Ethan. He took the book and continued

read.

“Ah, no, I'm not afraid,” tepis Scarlett.

Actually if it is said to be afraid, his feelings are more condescending and awkward. They're new

Scarlett's reflex closed her mouth realizing she had been speechless. He just said with joking intent.

He didn't even worry if the man pounced on him. She was more worried if she lost control and then pounced on her own husband. Being able to marry a man who is his first love is something that is never expected. He tried to hold back to hide his happiness.

“So why did you marry me? You know, right, that I'm paralyzed?” ask Ethan.

Scarlett bit her lips, looking at the man beside her with an enchanted look. He wanted to say that he did not regret accepting his grandfather's offer to be his son-in-law's granddaughter. Although initially to pay off the father's debt, knowing her husband turned out to be a dream man like Ethan, where he could be unhappy.

“I .. of course because of money. Grandpa has paid off my father's debt. It also guaranteed my sister and I education up to college. Where might I reject it.”

In the end what came out of Scarlett's mouth was different from the contents of her heart. She is too embarrassed to admit it, afraid Ethan will think of her as a strange woman.

“Not necessary. Call me by my name only, it doesn't matter.” Ethan puts on a big smile. It was as if Scarlett's reply she heard disappointed her. “I hope you won't regret being married to a cripple like me,”.

“It won't happen. Grandpa has been so good to me all along. It is only natural that I accompany you as a form of return,” Scarlett said. “You must have known, right, if previously I even worked as a waiter at a nightclub?” coined.

When they were busy talking, suddenly there was a knock from the door. Ethan told the man at the door to come inside.

A well-dressed man wearing his glasses appeared from behind the door. It seems he hesitates when he sees Ethan with Scarlett in bed. He is Zigra, Ethan's personal assistant.

“What's up, Zigra? Why stand there?” reprimand Ethan. Usually Zigra goes straight to him.

“Ah, sorry, Sir. I'd just like to say that it's time for you to take a shower. But, it seems like I came at an inopportune time,” Zirga replied with an awkward feeling. He lowered his gaze, hesitating to see the woman who is now the wife of his superior.

“No. It's time for me to take a shower. Do as usual,” Ethan tepis.

Zigra rushed in, approaching Ethan who was trying to get out of bed to reach his wheelchair. He helped his boss in a wheelchair.

“Wait! Let me do it!” prevent Scarlett.

The woman stops Zigra from taking Ethan to the bathroom. Second

the man was stunned by Scarlett's behavior.

“I'll bathe Ethan. Now, I am already his wife,” Scarlett said loudly.

“Zigra ...”

“It seems like the Madam's speech was indeed correct. You're married now, sir, so it's not a duty

Ethan sighed while patting his own forehead.

“The bathroom is there, right?” asked Scarlett excitedly. It's as if

Scarlett blinked her eyes. He beat his head to get back

I want Edgar to laugh. That woman is really annoying. “Already! Quick

help me take a shower!” the door with a firm tone.

Scarlett cursed herself. He wants to look good in front of Ethan, but first impressions already show that he is like a pervert. He helps Ethan take a bath while trying to clear his mind that has been contaminated with parts of Ethan's body that look healthy.
