The Love Struggle of Miss Ruth

The Love Struggle of Miss Ruth
Chapters 139. Sleeping a Different Night

Seconds by seconds the clock kept turning, but somehow it felt very difficult to close your eyes at night when it was greeting with the dark sky that was shining aided by the stars and also the moon.

In the corner of the room a woman hugged her own body while facing the window of the room which immediately showed the beauty of the night.

"Who am I to him? you're just a barren woman, Dina. It will not be worth loving. Have you forgotten the past you've done?" Dina smiled bitterly when she realized that there were many flaws in her that did not deserve the love of her husband at all.

The gathering at the dining table made the atmosphere very bad. The joints that come out in front of the house until this late night still do not give any signs of wanting to enter the room.

With a heavy heart, Dina closed the bedroom window curtains and stepped straight towards the mattress. He rubbed his body in a supine position. Drowsiness that made him want to sleep but there was a feeling that stuck in his chest.

This is a very unpleasant feeling. He could not even close his eyes when he looked at the ceiling of the room that looked empty with plain white.

While outside the house, now Jendi forced herself to play with games on her phone. Maybe this way his mind can improve and immediately rest calm.

Kreeeeek! Suddenly there was a soft door behind him. He turned his head and immediately stopped the online game.

Wuri was the figure that appeared in the doorway of the house. He smiled as Joints stared at him.

"May you sit there?" he pointed to another chair.

Slowly Joints nodded.

Wuri smiled at the screen of the child's phone showing the puzzle game.

"Life is like a puzzle piece. Humans are very precise with puzzle pieces. To make us look happy, we need another piece of the puzzle." Wuri spoke poetically without looking at the child's face.

"But not all human puzzle pieces can be placed on our puzzle pieces, God has prepared pieces of the puzzle which is suitable for us, Joints. Sometimes pieces that look shapeless, it will be very beautiful when arranged with a puzzle that we have. So, all that happens is just a process to achieve the beauty that will be eternal later."

"Can. We can be sad, frustrated when we do not find that beautiful shape, but still try to live sincerely. It all takes a long process, of course. I'm sure someday happiness will come to you and Dina. Be patient and try to let go of all your fantasies about it." The silent joint continued to listen to the mother.

It was not his desire to mention Ruth of course. But somehow the name was always present in his shadow at all times. Dina who always spent the night with him without touching was never the topic of his thoughts at all.

It was not an apology he had hoped for, but a persistent attempt to rise from the crash.

"Go to the room. Meet him, son. Your wife, whom you yourself promised to try to live with." said Wuri while holding the back of the child's hand.

Joints looked back at him, as if hesitating to meet Dina in the room. If they met, what would he say?

Once again Wuri commanded him with a nod of the head.

"Alright, Mom. Joints in first." He stood up from his seat even though it felt like the body was very heavy for him to move.

"Dav, come. I want to be hugged." Ruth asked her husband to hold her while they were in bed with a thick blanket.

It is not usual for the husband to turn his back on him while lying down. All this time Ruth always sleeps on the chest of the husband does not forget the warm embrace he felt.

But, what happened tonight? Even Dava didn't want to get close to him at all. There are spaces that become the distance between them.

"Dear, rest. It's been a very night. I'm hot, I'll hold you later, Ruth. Let's go to sleep." Dava said without bringing his body closer to his wife.

Ruth who heard the husband's words was silent, she looked at the two black eyeballs that were in front of her at this moment. Slowly he shook his head slowly with a brown eye bead that began to glaze over.

"Dav.." she softly held back the feeling of tightness in her chest.

"Please, Ruth." He looked at the wife's face with pleading.

"Alright," Dava smiled at the end as he approached the wife hugging and kissing her forehead. There was a gurat of sadness that he was trying to endure this moment.

It was hard to stay away from the woman he loved so much, even every grief Ruth showed he was simply unable to carry on with his plans.
