The Love Story of Haifa

8. Conversations When the Road is in Shreds.

Haifa cleaned up the documents scattered on the sofa table. Haifa has done what Vishnu ordered. It is now four o'clock, but Haifa has not yet prayed ashar.

“Mas,” call Haifa.

“Hmm,” replied Vishnu but his eyes remained focused on the laptop screen.

“It's four o'clock, Haifa pray first, yes," Haifa said.

Vishnu turned towards Haifa.

“Sholat here only,” says Vishnu.

“You wudhu first.”

“Iya, Mas.” Haifa walked towards the door.

When Haifa was about to touch the door handle all of a sudden…

“Hei..mau where?” wrath Vishnu.

Haifa paused her intention to open the door.

“You go to the bathroom to wudhu,” Haifa replied.

“No need to go out, it will have a bathroom. Wudhu just there.” Vishnu pointed to the bathroom in his room.

“Nggak ah, in the bathroom outside only,” said Haifa then opened the door and out of the room Vishnu.

Seeing Haifa come out of his room Vishnu sighed. The girl really put herself as ART.

Vishnu left his job and went to the bathroom for ablution. After completing the ablution Vishnu held two prayer mats for himself and for Haifa. Soon Haifa entered Vishnu's room.

“I pray first,” said Vishnu who was getting ready to pray and started his prayer.

Haifa used her face and stood on the prayer rug that Vishnu had prepared. Haifah also prays ashar.

After the prayer, they get ready to go home.

Vishnu and Haifa were standing at the door of the liff waiting for the liff to come down. When the liff door opened it turned out to be Mr. Broto inside the liff. Vishnu and Haifa entered the liff. As usual Vishnu stood next to his father and Haifa stood in the back corner.

“Haifa, why aren't you home yet?” ask Mr. Broto just by glancing back.

Haifa was surprised to be asked by Mr. Broto, because Mr. Broto had never asked her to speak. Haifa was also afraid of being scolded by Mr. Broto for still being in Vishnu's office.

“Sa..I was told to accompany Den Vishnu to buy a gift for his friend Den Vishnu,” Haifa replied with trembling.

“Gift for whose child?” ask Mr. Broto to Vishnu.

“For his sons Reza and Rina. Semiggu then gave birth to Rina but Vishnu had not seen the baby. Last morning Reza came to the office inviting their son's aqiqah,” replied Vishnu.

“Reza already has children, when will Papah be given a grandson?” ask Mr. Broto.

“Vishnu does not yet have a suitable wife candidate, Pah. Wira and Vienna may already have a candidate,” replied Vishnu.

“Papahu want you first who married and gave Papah a grandson,” said Mr. Broto.

Ting.heard the sound of a liff already reached the ground floor.

“Papah wait for you to bring your future wife to the house, hm,” said Mr. Broto while patting Vishnu twice on the shoulder and then came out first from the cliff.

Only Vishnu and Haifa remained undescended. Vishnu was silent after hearing Mr. Broto's words. Haifa did not come out of the Liff because Vishnu was still in the liff. When the liff door was about to close again Haifa quickly pressed the open button otherwise they would return upstairs.

“Mas..ayo we are out,” invite Haifa.

Vishnu immediately realized from his daydream. Then get out of the liff. Haifa followed Vishnu from behind. Vishnu approached Ira at the reception desk.

“Good, Sir.”

Ira takes the car keys from the reception desk and gives them to Vishnu.

“Thank you,” says Vishnu.

“Come, Fa.”

Vishnu walked towards the car park. Haifa followed Vishnu from behind.

When he arrived at the parking lot, Vishnu unlocked his car using a remote.

“Come in.”

Vishnu opened the car door. Haifa was confused where she should sit? In front or behind.

Vishnu who has entered the car directly out again from his car.

“Come in! You want to hang out there?" vishnu.

“Sa...I am confused where to sit? Where in front or behind?” haifa asked doubtfully.

“Yes in front, I'm not your driver!” vishnu.

“Good, Mas.”

Haifa opened the front door and got into the car.

“Install the seat belt!” vishnu said while starting the car engine.

Haifa pulled the seatbelt next to her and put on the seat belt. Vishnu started driving his car. When passing through security Vishnu raised his hand and was replied to a nod by the security guard. Then the car rolled down the highway.

The streets that afternoon had started to feel stuck because of the hours of home office. Vishnu's view focused on the highway. While Haifa saw the atmosphere outside the car from the window glass.

“I if driving a car must be accompanied should not drive alone,” said Wisnu while focusing forward.

Haifa turned towards Vishnu.

“Usually Mas Vishnu accompanied by whom?” ask Haifa.

“Normally driven by Pak Tono. Sometimes like pity on Mr. Tono, if my weak end there is an event Mr. Tono can not take off work,” replied Vishnu while turning to Haifa for a while.

“What Mas Vishnu does not have friends who can accompany Mas Vishnu?” ask Haifa.

“My friends are all married. They spend more time with family,” replied Vishnu while turning towards Haifa.

“Means Haifa girlfriends. Mas Vishnu must have a female friend who can accompany Mas Vishnu,” said Haifa.

“Lazy near girl friends, I'm afraid they're mistaken for me. I mean just ordinary friends but they mean it another,” replied Vishnu.

“Means Mas Vishnu must marry and have a wife. So Mas Vishnu is there to accompany wherever Mas Vishnu went,” said Haifa.

Vishnu was silent for a moment hearing Haifa's words.

“So, yes?” ask Vishnu.

“Iya Mas,” Haifa replied.

“If you become my wife, you want to?” ask Vishnu while focusing on the front of the car he drove for a while had to stop because it was stuck.

Hearing Vishnu's question Haifa's face immediately turned to shame. Vishnu turned to Haifa for a while and smiled at Haifa's changing face.

“I'm just joking, don't put it in the heart,” said Wisnu while advancing his car because the vehicle in front has been traveling at medium speed.
