10. Dinner Together.



After Vishnu finished praying magrib replace Haifa who prayed magrib. After completing the prayer magrib Vishnu took Haifa to a Japanese restaurant that is quite famous in the mall.


“You ever eat Japanese food?” ask Vishnu when in front of the Japanese restaurant.


Haifa replied by shaking her head.


“Then today you try Japanese food.”


Vishnu leads Haifa into a Japanese restaurant. The restaurant looks quite crowded by visitors who just returned from the office. They were eating with their colleagues.


Vishnu choose a place that is somewhat corner of the room.


“Here the food is all you can eat and self service,” said Vishnu after they sat down.


“I get the food. Later if we come here again you learn to take it yourself.”


Vishnu got up from his seat to take food. Haifa was waiting at the table. Soon after, Vishnu brought raw food. After Vishnu turned around several times they were finally able to start cooking. Haifa followed Vishnu's direction, until something was ripe.


“Nih, you cobain.” Vishnu put a piece of meat on top of Haifa's rice.


Haifa tried the meat that was on top of the rice.


“How does it feel?” ask Vishnu


Haifa chewed on the meat while giving her thumbs up. Vishnu smiled seeing it. Haifa tried one by one on the table. Until the rice was only eaten a little because Haifa was afraid of satiety if eaten with rice so that he could not taste the food with satisfaction.


Vishnu ate his food while watching Haifa was busy tasting the food one by one.


“Mas, what they have nothing to lose if we eat this much ?” haifa asked while chewing her food.


“Not. They have taken everything into account,” replied Vishnu.


“Spend food!” vishnu.


“Iya, Mas.”


“Nation is not eaten?” Vishnu saw Haifa rice there was half a bowl.


“Ngak ah, will be full if spent his rice,” Haifa replied.


Vishnu did not continue eating. He was already feeling full by watching Haifa eat. Vishnu should not eat too much red meat.


“Mas why stop eating it? The food is still a lot, Mas,” said Haifa.


“Ngak ah. Mas is full, you just spend it,” replied Vishnu.


“I can spend this much food,” Haifa said.


“You can definitely spend. A little more responsibility,” said Vishnu.


Eventually Haifa was able to finish off all the food that was on the table, except rice.


“Alhamdullilah hirobbil alamin,” said Haifa after eating.


“Udah satisfied?” vishnu asked with a smile at Haifa who was full.


“Not full anymore but kemerkaan,” Haifa replied.


Vishnu scrunched his forehead hearing the word kemerkaan.


“What is kemerkaan?” ask Vishnu.


“Excessive ones,” Haifa replied.


“Come on, we're home. It's been overnight,” said Haifa.


Haifa had seen the clock on her phone at eight p.m. He felt bad for Mother Deswita if she went too long.


“No need to rush, we are close to home. Five minutes also arrived,” said Vishnu.


“Stay Haifa feels bad for Ms. Deswita. Because he invited Haifa to shop and eat at Mas Vishnu restaurant so late home,” said Haifa.


“Temple, Mamah will not be angry,” said Vishnu then rise from his seat.


“Come, we go home.” Vishnu brought all the groceries and walked to the cashier to pay for the food.

Saturday night the sky looked bright, the streets were still crowded with cars that were still passing by. Vishnu drove his car calmly accompanied by the sound of music heard from FM radio. Haifa is excited to see the atmosphere of Jakarta at night.


Suddenly, Haifa's cell phone rang. Haifa pulled out the phone from her bag. On the screen of his cell phone was written the name Aa Syaiful. Haifa ignored the call from Syaiful, He played down the ringing sound


the phone was then put back in the bag. The ringing sound is over.


Shortly thereafter, a mobile phone vibrated from Haifa's bag. Nguk….But Haifa ignored him.


“Why not lift? Who knows there is an important thing,” said Wisnu saw Haifa who did not want to answer the call on his phone.


“Not important, Mas. It was just a friend who was on a whim calling,” Haifa replied.


“Lift, who knows he wants to tell you something important,” said Vishnu.


Haifa let out a long sigh then picked up her phone from inside her bag.


“Assalamualaikum,” says Haifa.


“Waalaikumsalam, Haifa. What more?” ask Syaiful.


Vishnu turned off the radio, so Haifa could answer the phone without being interrupted.


“By the road want to go home,” Haifa replied.


“Where are these nights?” ask Syaiful.


“Nganterin Mas Vishnu Shopping,” Haifa answers.


Vishnu seemed to be calmly driving his car, but his ears listened to Haifa's conversation with Syaiful.


“Who is Vishnu?” asked Syaiful curiously.


“He's his employer Bi Nani,” Haifa replied briefly.


“You're going alone?” ask Syaiful.


“Iya,” Haifa reply.


Vishnu turned the car into the road to his house.


“A already yes, this is already going to get home. Assalamualaikum.”


Haifa ended her call.


Vishnu turned to the side.


“Have finished calling?” ask Vishnu .


“Already,” replied Haifa.


Vishnu stopped his car in front of his house and waited for his housekeeper to open the door. After the gate was opened Vishnu put his car.Wishnu put his car into the garage. After the car stopped Haifa got ready to get out of the car.


“Thank you for all the giving and dinner, Mas. May Allah repay all the kindness of Mas Vishnu,” said Haifa.


“Aamiin. Equally, Haifa,” reply Vishnu.


Haifa got out of the car while carrying all the groceries bought by Vishnu. Vishnu watched Haifa from inside his car.


Who was the man who called her just now? Is he Haifa's lover? ask Vishnu in the heart.


Vishnu rubbed his face violently.


“Astagfirullahaladzim,” says Vishnu.


“Aware of Vishnu, he is still a child. He deserves to be your son,” Vishnu told himself.


Vishnu got out of his car and brought gifts for his sons Rina and Reza. Vishnu stepped in a gontai towards his room.
