39. Grief News

Beep beep….The alarm on Haifa's phone sounded. The clock shows half five. It's time for Haifa to get ready for dawn prayers. Haifa looked to the side, she saw her husband sleeping soundly. Haifa got up and went straight to the bathroom. After completing his hajat and berwudhu Haifa woke Vishnu to get ready for dawn prayers at the mosque.

“Mas...build, Mas! Soon adzan zubuh.” Haifa patted Vishnu's arm, but Vishnu did not wake up.

“Mas...build, Mas! It's noon! Soon adzan.” Haifa patted Vishnu's arm even harder. But Vishnu did not wake up either.

“Mas! Wake up! It's noon.” Haifa shook Vishnu's body. But Vishnu still did not want to wake up.

Haifa felt anxious, afraid that anything would happen to her husband. Haifa touched Vishnu's nose, she did not feel Vishnu's breath. Haifa was getting more anxious. Haifa raised Vishnu's hand and was released from above. Vishnu's hand immediately fell limp. It also felt like the world had stopped spinning and felt tight in Haifa's chest, Haifa was crying.

“MAS WISNU..........!!!!” haifa shouted while crying.

“MAS WISNU WAKE UP MAS!!!!!” Haifa was crying loudly.

“MAMAH!!!!! MAS WISNU DOES NOT WANT TO WAKE UP,” Haifa said while crying.

“MAMAH!!!! MAS WISNU SILENT ONLY.”

“MAMAH!!!!!” Shouted Haifa.

Hearing Haifa's sobbing, the ARTs came straight out of her room.

“What's up, Ma'am? A voice heard crying Non Haifa,” Tanya Bi Iyah to Bi Siti.

“I don't know either, Well,” Bi Siti replied.

“Try to see Bude, who knows there is nothing,” Iroh told Bi Iyah.

“I and Bi Iyah to Den Vishnu's room. You wake up Mom and Dad!” imang Bi Siti to Iroh.

“No need ah, Bude! Iroh did not dare,” replied Iroh.

“Nothing. Just knock on the door of his room. Say that Non Haifa is crying!” the Bi Siti.

“Nmobile. Later Iroh scolded,” said Iroh who was frightened.

“You will be scolded if you do not wake up Father and Mother,” said Bi Siti.

“Iya deh, Bude,” Iroh replied.

“Come on, we go upstairs!” Bi Siti pulled Bi Iyah's hand.

Arriving in front of Vishnu's room, the sound of Haifa's cries came from inside the room. Bi Siti knocked on the door of Vishnu's room.

Tok.dok…..

“Non! Open the door, Non!”

But the door is not open yet.

“Tap tight!” said Bi Iyah.

TOK.TOK….Toc…..

“Non!!! Open door!!!! This is Bi Siti,” exclaimed Bi Siti with half a shout.

Cklekkk. Then the door of the room opened.

“Aibi...” Haifa immediately hugged Bi Siti and cried in Bi Siti's arms.

Bi Siti rubbed Haifa's back, signaling Bi Iyah to enter Vishnu's room.

Slowly Bi Iyah went into Vishnu's room. He saw Vishnu like a man who was sleeping soundly. Bi iyah approached Vishnu.

“Den Vishnu! Build, Den!” said Bi Iyah.

But Vishnu still did not open his eyes. Bi Iyah holding the leg of Vishnu.

“Ya Alloh. It's cold,” Bi Iyah said.

Bi Iyah stuck her index finger right in Vishnu's nostril.

“Ya Alloh. No breath.” Bi Iyah was getting more anxious.

Bi Iyah held Vishnu's wrist. He tried to find the pulse of Vishnu, but not felt.

“Innalillahi wa inna divine roji’un,” said Bi Iyah.

“WISNU...,” shouted Mother Deswita directly embraced Vishnu who was lifeless.

Apparently when Bi Iyah said it, there was Mother Deswita and Mr. Broto in front of Vishnu's room.

“WISNU!!!! BUILD VISHNU!!!!” Deswita's mother shook Vishnu's body.

“Build Vishnu! don't stay in Mamah!” Mother Deswita's cry broke.

Haifa suddenly fainted.

“Pak….Non Haifa fainted, sir,” Bi Siti said as she tried to hold Haifa's body from falling over.

“Astagfirullohaladzim,” said Mr. Broto.

“Bi Yes! Help me lift Haifa,” said Mr. Broto.

“Iya, Sir.” Bi Iyah directly approached Bi Siti who was holding Haifa's body. Mr. Broto, Bi Siti and Bi Iyah tried to lift Haifa's body, but it was difficult because of the weight. Haifa's body was small, but because she was pregnant it became heavy.

“Iroh! Help me!” Exclaimed Mr. Broto who was not strong to lift Haifa three.

Iroh also helped lift Haifa's body towards the bed.

“You pray first dawn! Call Bi Nani, get her here as soon as possible!” mr. Broto said after moving Haifa to bed.

“But Non Haifa fainted, not yet conscious,” said Bi Siti.

“Limit with me. You guys pray early dawn!” said Mr. Broto.

“Good, Sir.” Finally Bi Siti, Bi Iyah and Iroh went to their respective rooms for dawn prayers.

Mr. Broto looked at Mother Deswita who was still crying over the body of Vishnu.

“Let's just let Vishnu go. This is all the destiny of Alloh SWT,” said Mr. Broto.

“The love of Vishnu, he is happy because he will have children. But..ngngnghh.” Deswita's mother came back crying.

Mr. Broto could only sigh to see his wife crying continuously. Mr. Broto took the eucalyptus oil and smeared it into Haifa's nose to get Haifa up. Shortly thereafter there was a movement from Haifa indicating that Haifa was conscious.

But Haifa immediately remembered Vishnu. Haifapun crying.

“Ikhlaskan Vishnu! This is all the destiny of Alloh SWT,” said Mr. Broto.

“Now Haifa pray dawn first. Let your heart be calm,” said Mr. Broto.

“If Haifa is still limp, pray while lying down!” said Mr. Broto.

“Iya, Pah.”

Mr. Broto approached Deswita's mother who was still lamenting the body of her son.

“Mah, we pray at dawn first. We pray Vishnu,” said Mr. Broto embrace his wife.

Then Mr. Broto took Ms. Deswita out of Vishnu's room. In front of Mr. Broto's room was paced with Bi Siti and Bi Iyah.

“Please take care of Haifa! I want to pray at dawn first,” said Mr. Broto.

“Good, Sir,” says Bi Siti.

Broto left Vishnu's room.

After finishing the morning prayer Mr. Broto called Wira and Vienna told him that Vishnu was no more. Vienna is likely to return to Indonesia a few days later because he has to take care of the visa first. As for the hero, he will try to return home as soon as possible.
