17. The Haifa House

Bi Ros did not turn to Vishnu and Haifa because he was sitting on a chair that turned his back to the windowpanes, he went straight into the house.

Finally Vishnu got up from his seat. Before going to the dining room Haifa invited Pak Tono to eat. Vishnu and Pak Tono followed Haifa to the dining room. On the table there is plenty of food. There are vegetables asem, pepes carp, pepes tofu, sambal terasi, extravagant key and his friend sambel oncom and orek tempe. Bi Ros looking for a safe menu consumed by Vishnu.

Euis' mother saw that ketmus and boiled beans had not been eaten by Vishnu.

Euis' mother went into the house to get something. Soon after, Euis' mother brought two new plastic bags. Then put ketimus and boiled beans into a different plastic bag.Then given to Vishnu.

“Lumayan make snacks on the road so as not to be upset,” said Ibu Euis.

Haifa took the plastic bag from Euis's mother's hand.

Vishnu walked towards the car accompanied by Haifa. When he reached the car park, Haifa put the plastic containing ketimus and peanuts into the car.

Vishnu told Pak Tono to open the trunk of the car, Vishnu took something from his traveling bag that was in the trunk of the car.

Vishnu approached Haifa.

Vishnu got in the car. Then the car pulled out of the empty ground. Haifa waved her hand at Vishnu and the car rolled away from Haifa's neighborhood. Haifa kept looking at Vishnu's car until it was no longer visible.

“DOR!!” Suddenly someone shocked him from behind.

Haifa looked back and found her sister Dodi surprised her.

“Dodi!”

With a reflex Haifa hit Dodi's hand. Dodi dodi dodged.

“Mistakenly why daydream in the middle of the road,” said Dodi.

Dodi saw Haifa's hand holding something.

“What is it, Tea?” ask Dody.

“Nothing,” Haifa replied while hiding the brown envelope Vishnu gave her.

“Teteh has a lot of money, huh? For dong make snacks,” says Dodi.

“This is not for snacks. But this is for our daily eating,” Haifa replied.

“For a little time snack can not,” said Dodi while whining.

“No can!!!” exciting Haifa.

Haifa returned to her home. Dodi followed Haifa while pouting.

“Assalamualaikum,” said Dodi in a loud voice.

“Waalaikumsalam,” reply Mother Euis from home.

Dodi approaches his Mom.

“Mah, Teteh much money but stingy tuh.” Dodi complained to his Mom.

Hearing the word money, Haifa so remember with the care of Mother Deswita. Haifa went to her room to pick up the bag, Haifa took her bag outside and sat down next to Mother Euis.

“Mah, there is a deposit from Ms. Deswita,” Haifa said as she reached into her bag looking for the envelope she kept.

“Finally meet,” Haifa said as she pulled out a white envelope from her bag.

Haifa gave Mother Deswita's envelope to her Mom.

“For Mamah from Ibu Deswita,” says Haifa.

Euis' mother accepted it with a sigh.

“Alhamdulliah hirobilalamin. Jazakallahu khiran,” said Ms. Euis while holding tightly the envelope given by Ms. Deswita.

Seeing her Mom being given an envelope with money, Dodi started whining again.

“Mamah, Dodi asks for money for snacks,” says Dodi.

“No can! That's to buy the drug Mamah,” exclaimed Haifa.

“Ah, stingy!” exclaim Dodi while whining.

“Mamah wants to replace Bi Ros money that has been used to cook food for Den Vishnu,” said Ibu Euis.

“No need, Mah! Let Haifa replace Bi Ros's money,” Haifa said.

Haifa took fifty thousand dollars out of the brown envelope and gave it to Dodi.
