The Love Story of Children Santri
Chapter 22 - Yellow Flag

"Shodaqallahul adzim."

Done already memorized Eve, thank God smoothly and there is progress in both tajwid and mahorijul letters.

Adam who heard it was very happy. But behind her smoothness Eve had another purpose.

"Now where's my phone." Eve said as she stretched out her hand, as if to ask Adam.

Eve billed a promise, Adam would give her cell phone if Eve memorized smoothly the previous letters until the end of the memorization verse.

With an expanding smile, there was no shame Eve asked, with her forward leaning body almost close to Adam.

Adam's eyes turned away, avoiding the gaze of sin.

"I didn't bring it."

"What! It's not like Ustadz promised to give me my phone. This part of my Friday holiday, all students are free and entitled to ask for goods, especially mobile phones."

"Bring those books, your phone's in my office." Said Adam leaving.

Eve looked upset, eager to send the book to Adam. Trouble he memorized the talaran, on his day off it turns out Adam still does not give his cellphone.

Brakes,

Eve landed the book on the table. Luckily, Adam's room did not blend with the other teachers' rooms. No one saw Eve's behavior.

Adam was a little upset that Eve dared to be disrespectful to him. With emotion Adam threw a cell phone at Eve, until the phone fell to the floor.

"My phone!" Eve was surprised, who immediately took the flat object.

"Ih! Ustad…."

"What! Want to get angry again? Just this time I'm dealing with a santri like you. Disrespectful, unkind, always defiant." Perhaps Adam's patience was over with Eve's barbaric behavior.

"Then just bring me back. I also don't feel at home living here full of rules."

Instead of apologizing Eve even made Adam more angry. I don't know what would have happened to Eve if Adam hadn't dampened his emotions.

Eve opened her eyes for a moment and left Adam's room.

"Astagfirullah," said Adam, then rubbed his face rough.

*****

Inside Eve's room immediately checked the cracked phone.

"Ih! Really bad, broken 'kan my phone," whine of Eve who thumped her face.

"Ustadz rese base!" his pedicab.

Eve tried to turn on her phone. Instantly his smile expanded as the flat screen lit up. Not long after that the screen went back to death.

"Eh, I'm dead. It's broken lowbet again."

Eve immediately looked for a charger in her closet, after meeting directly connected to her cellphone so that her cellphone battery contained.

"Laughter!" call Minah, Ayesha, and Asiyah.

Eve looked at her three friends. Their faces looked confused and sad. I don't know what happened.

"Eve?"

"Hm."

Ayesha, Asiyah, and Minah just looked at each other they were confused about what to say, and ruled.

"What's wrong?"

"Mm .. called Mr. Kiyai," said Minah.

Eve also turned to them, "Say dong from earlier very difficult." Eve immediately stood up leaving her room.

"Oh Allah, may Eve be proclaimed, and strengthened."

"Aamiin's." Santri's three words were in unison.

*****

Adam had just returned to his house, seeing Ummi and his Abi sitting weakly on a chair. They look sad.

"Assalamualaik."

"Getishalam." Ummi and Kiyai looked up when they heard Eve's voice.

Adam, passed into his room, but his steps came to a halt upon hearing his Umminya's words.

"Eve, today you must go home, Ummi and Kiyai will take you."

For a moment Eve fell silent. Why suddenly he was returned. Eve's gaze was upon Adam, who was standing in the row of steps leading to her room. Because considering the debate in Adam's room earlier.

"Was I returned that fast? But it's good that I don't feel at home here, "her inner self.

Eve thought that Adam spoke to her parents because of the words of Eve, who said she wanted to be returned.

"Seriously Ummi?"

The face of the sumringah Hawa emanated, who was so happy because she was finally able to go home. But not with Ummi and Kiyai looking sad.

"Yes, then I'll take care of all my clothes. I don't have to come back here, do I?"

"Prepare, we'll be leaving soon."

With joy Eve ran to her dorm. Selflessly on the two teachers in front of him made Adam even more upset.

Adam stepped down the stairs, approaching Ummi and his Aby.

"Ammi, Aby? Why did the boy suddenly come back?"

Ummi and Kiyai looked at each other.

"We got word that her father ...," Kiyai said, holding back, as her phone rang.

"Anytime pick up the phone first."

"Who's By from?" ask Ummi.

"Joseph." Ummi nodded immediately asking her husband to answer the phone immediately. It seems like there is a problem in their family.

Eve was so happy that she hummed, packing all her clothes into a suitcase.

The three friends just stared at him in silence.

"I'm glad I got it back. Oh yeah, do you want to come?" take Eve to the three of them.

Aisha, Asiyah, and Minah just shook their heads.

"Why not? If you want, I will take you. Don't you want to see the tall building, the cinema, and the mall? If you come with me I'll take you there."

"Eve, why are you so happy?" Aisha asked.

"Obviously, because I'm going home."

Eve closed her suitcase. Then he stood up, imagining himself in his house.

"I miss my room. Sherly, Mira, we'll meet again, "Eve's inner self then steps away with her suitcase.

Minah, Ayesha and Asiyah looked at Eve's back wistfully.

"Looks like Eve doesn't know yet."

****

In the car, Adam sits in the front seat with Kiyai because Adam is taking over the wheel. Ummi was in the back seat with Eve.

Along the way they were silent, but not with Eve, who kept smiling looking at the streets moving backwards outside the window.

For an hour they passed through the crowded streets. Their car also arrived in front of a high fence that is now visited by many residents, whether they are relatives, or nearby neighbors.

Eve, confused whether there is a welcoming event for her? But neither his parents nor his brother were seen.

Eve's heart began to fidget, her smile began to fade when she saw a yellow flag placed on the fence of her house.

"Yellow flag? Who died?"

Eve immediately got out of her car running into her house through the crowd of people who came in and out of her house.

"Sister Joseph! Papa! Mama!" the cry of Eve was so echoing, that Joseph turned to the source of the voice.

At the sight of the younger brother who stood, astonished to see someone who was lying on the lid of the batik cloth.

Joseph stood up and approached Eve. The mother looked weak in her brother's arms.

"Who died?" shiver Eve with a trembling voice.

Instead of answering, Joseph embraced Eve. Instantly his back shook, his cries broke.
