The Love Rhyme of Kawa

The Love Rhyme of Kawa
SCK 30: Two Girls

Mayra was rubbed weakly on the hospital bed, her face pale. An infusion hose stuck in one of the backs of his hands. With a heavy heart Mr. Broto allowed Kawa to visit Mayra.

"I came out first ya.." said Mr. Broto to Mayra, greeted by a gentle nod by Mayra. Kawa smiled and nodded in respect to her boss. But there was no response from Mr. Broto, as if Kawa was invisible in his eyes.

Hearing the door closing slowly, Kawa placed a basket of fruits on the table beside Mayra's bed.

"Hi.." said Kawa, his hand pulled the chair not far from the table, and he sat there, beside Mayra's bed.

"Hi" said Mayra softly, a smile rising from her pale lips.

"I'm sorry I just got here" Kawa felt guilty.

"Nothing, no need to feel guilty ah" Mayra smiled again, the girl was always cheerful.

"What are you sick with?"

"Ordinary ah, tiredness" replied Mayra. "Oh yeah, are you alone?" Mayra asked back, she did not want Kawa to ask more about her pain. Kawa nodded.

"Cirain with Zahra"

"Zahra?"

"Yes.the good girl, oh yes...is she okay?" mayra asked, she remembered how Zahra had been plunged into the lake. Kawa was silent for a moment, even she herself had not seen Zahra's situation directly. He only had time to contact through messages. Kawa nodded.

"Thank God..." Mayra was relieved. "Oh yeah.I'm sorry Papa ya..."

"Why?"

"No need to pretend I don't know, I know that Papa is angry with you"

"Don't think, just relax" Kawa calmed down, even though this was the first time she was scolded by employees of her own Papa company. Kawa smiled a little.

"Why even smile? is something funny?"

"No"

"My dad is kind of eccentric, and mean, narcissistic, ah you know...."

"Yes, it's okay, you don't think much, you're in good health" Kawa said to Mayra, patting her gently.

"Thank you, thank you for coming and encouraging me, greetings to Zahra"

Kawa kept her promise, she did not linger in Mayra's nursery, as Mayra had to rest a lot. Kawa closed the door shortly after she came out of the treatment room, she saw Mr. Broto sitting on the front bench of the room. The look on Mr. Broto's face looked forward, as if he was reluctant to look at Kawa. Kawa sat down next to Broto.

"I'm sorry Boss, if this is my fault" Kawa opened the conversation, Mr. Broto still reluctant to see Kawa's face. His heart felt coarse, and he was still very angry at the man beside him. The man she thought was teasing her daughter.

"You've hurt his heart, you shouldn't be present in his life" Mr. Broto spoke without seeing his interlocutor.

"What can I do to make amends?"

Broto looked at Kawa, the young man, is he challenging him?.

"What do you mean?" mr. Broto's voice is rising. "You're just a regular employee, you're not equal to my family, and you're not the right man for my son, okay?" Mr. Broto reiterated.

"Yes, boss" Kawa nodded.

"Please stay away from my son" asked Mr. Broto.

"Boss..sorry..me and Mayra are just friends, is it nice if I suddenly stay away from him? are friends a problem?"

"Yes, I said yes. And stay away, if you need to get out of your job" he said. "His son is more important than anything, including your friendship!"

"Papaa.." said a soft voice behind the door that opened slightly. Mr. Broto and Kawa compactly looked towards the source of the sound, he saw Mayra standing behind the door holding an infusion pole. She was quite bothered by what her Papa said to Kawa, she had been listening to him since.

Mayra lay back on her bed. Seemed to be holding back his anger.

"You've come out" Broto asked Kawa to come out, and Kawa nodded and resigned.

Kawa comes out of Mayra's treatment room, she accidentally runs into someone she knows, from her way, yes not wrong, she is Zahra.

"Zahra?" Kawa greets the girl, seeing that Zahra has not seen Kawa before.

"Laughter..." Zahra stopped his steps, his right hand carrying a parcel. "Have you been here?"

"Not long" replied Kawa, "You want to look at Mayra?"

Zahra nodded.

"You're healthy? you all right?" suddenly Kawa asked Zahra a question, she was quite worried about the girl after the incident. Zahra smile.

"Yes I'm fine, as you can see" Zahra smiled sweetly, Kawa nodded and joined in smiling. I was so happy to see Zahra looking healthy.

"It's nice to see it"

"Oh yeah..I went to Mayra first huh...want to come again?" Zahra.

"Enough"

"Oh well, I went there first?" pamit Zahra was greeted with a nod from Kawa.

Zahra knocked on the door gently, lest her arrival disturb Mayra. Before long footsteps from inside came closer to the door, then opened it.

It was Mr. Broto who opened the door. Zahra smiled kindly and nodded after saying her regards.

"Mayra's friend?" ask Mr. Broto.

"Yes" Zahra replied politely.

"Please" Mr. Broto.

Mayra saw who came, the face that was bete back cheerful even though it was wrapped pale. Mayra tried to sit down.

"Don't, you just fall asleep" Zahra immediately asked Mayra not to sit down to welcome her arrival. Mayra lay down again, her lips smiling. Zahra looked at the clingy Mayra, the girl who turned out to love Kawa was in pain, and she did not know what pain.

"Hopefully getting better soon, I should have heard you were sick, sorry I just got here" Zahra rubbed Mayra's hand. How gentle Zahra was, Mayra smiled at the girl nearby. That's what made Kawa fall in love with Zahra.

That night, as she expresses her love for Kawa, Mayra realizes that Zahra is near them, she believes Zahra is listening to what she is saying. He believes that Zahra knows that she likes Kawa. Is Zahra also actually likes Kawa.

"It's lucky that the person who will have you" said Mayra suddenly. Zahra looked at Mayra carefully, then smiled.

"So is your Mayra"

"Ah no. I'm no one" Mayra felt inferior.

"Are you healthy?" Mayra had just asked Zahra.

"As you can see, I'm fine, my mistake was one yesterday"

"What?" Mayra curious.

"Can't swim" Zahra chuckled, Mayra nodded with a laugh.

"Yes, that's right"

There was laughter in the room between Mayra and Zahra. On one hand Mayra felt something was strange, but she had to legowo even though her heart wanted to cry. While what Zahra feels is that she also has to be legowo if Mayra, the beautiful and cheerful tomboy girl is next to Kawa.
