Zahras
His heart rippled, there was a sense of happiness when he saw someone who was in front of him. Some days that feel weird without seeing Kawa.
They were at the same table, sitting opposite each other. Kawa ordered a drink, and so did Zahra.
"Is he happy?" tanya Kawa broke the silence. Zahra stirred up her drink, then gave a small nod while smiling. Kawa smiled, only this time she saw Zahra smile loosely before her.
"Thank God" Kawa smiled again.
"Is this me to him?" zahra asked in her heart, she was trying to control her heartbeat. Honestly, this feeling only existed once in his life.
"Even he wants to say it to you" Zahra stirred up her drink again, saying without looking into Kawa's eyes, it didn't feel like it was going to happen, she felt like she couldn't, even afraid that Kawa would read her feelings through the look in her eyes.
"Oh yeah...? come..when can we play together?" Kawa chimed in, this was a completely unexpected answer from Kawa. Makes Zahra troubled to answer it.
"Oh that..ehm..."
"Why?" Kawa immediately asked, a human who rarely could get along with the person suddenly wanted to always talk while with Zahra.
"Yes.later I will tell Dira"
"Yes, I'm waiting for the good news" Kawa again threw her smile, this time Zahra had a glimpse of that smile. Several times he let out a long sigh, of course he did as smooth as possible so as not to be seen by Kawa.
"Do you like to read?" Kawa noticed the pile of books visible from the transparent plastic bag, next to Zahra's drink.
"Yes" replied Zahra briefly. "If you?" Zahra turned around to ask. I don't know where she's got that much talk to Kawa.
Kawa shook her head slowly, Zahra looked at Kawa then gave a small smile.
"I hope you understand people who don't like to read" Kawa tries to pity herself so as not to look bad in Zahra's eyes.
"Oh.no, it's people's right, I'm just nanya anyway" Zahra returned smiling. "I've loved reading since I was a kid, and until now, because reading was fun, it felt like it was in a different world"
"Oh.iya hell, I heard that too"
Zahra nodded. He glanced towards the pile of books he had just bought earlier.
Eagles...
Never did she expect that today she would meet Zahra, the feeling that had ruined her mood the past few days had suddenly returned warm and orderly. At the sight of Zahra's eyes, upon hearing Zahra's soft voice, it was as if her longings were healed.
"Did I miss him?" kawa asked inwardly as she saw the girl right before her while tidying up the scattered book. A few seconds stunned, Kawa finally realized that she had to tidy up the scattered book.
"Sorry" he said sincerely.
Seeing Zahra who had finished shopping, Kawa invited Zahra to just drink at a shop not far from the book bazaar.
"I'm sorry if it's a little pushy" said Kawa with a smile. There was no reply from Zahra, but she followed.
Mumpung Mayra is also still fun to be inside to choose a book that he likes.
"What do you want to eat?" ask Kawa while presenting a list of food and drinks. Zahra shook her head, she did not want to eat.
"It's not nice to be here, if I eat and drink while in front of me no" Kawa gave Zahra a menu list.
No choice, true what Kawa said, it does not feel good if we eat in front of people who do not eat.
"I'm gonna have a drink"
"Thank you for sitting down and drinking, I'll have a drink too"
They finally ordered some juice.
"Who are you here with?" asked Kawa while stirring the orange juice she ordered. There was a curiosity in his heart.
"Alone" Zahra replied briefly, the girl still reluctantly looked at him.
"You?" Zahra asked back.
"Friends of friends" Kawa replies casually.
"I think you're here" cried Mayra from a few meters away. His hand held a rather thick book. Zahra and Kawa looked in the same direction, Mayra coming. He pulled up a chair near Kawa and Zahra.
"Know, I'm Mayra" Mayra extended her hand towards Zahra, Zahra greeted her with a smile.
"Zahra" replied Zahra kindly.
"Shortly, I'd like to order a drink first, thirsty" Mayra left her seat for a moment and ordered a drink directly without calling the seller.
"That?" ask Zahra.
"Yes, same to him, friend" hurriedly Kawa asserted, in her little heart she did not want Zahra to misunderstand the current situation. Zahra smiled slightly.
"Why don't you come in?" mayra asked for a moment when she was back at the same table. "Even though, inside"
"A lot of people, so I'm dizzy" replied Kawa.
Mayra looked at the pile of books on the table, her eyes twinkling.
"Oh you like to read too?"
"Yes" replied Zahra softly.
"When we can find a book together"
"Can..."
Two girls with different characters who are in front of her, Kawa feels lucky to have a good friend in this city.
Almost an hour the three of them laughed and talked, finally they had to go home to their respective disputes.
"Are you sure you don't want us to wait until we get the angkot?" mayra asked, Zahra shook her head with a smile, making sure that she would be fine.
"It's okay, I'm fine and I'm used to it, you go home first, be careful on the road" Zahra waved her hand.
"Well, be careful too" Mayra replied while wearing her helmet.
Kawa approached Zahra while still holding the helmet in her hand.
"Do I come back here to pick it up?" Kawa.
"Oh no no no. No need" Zahra firmly refused.
"Or am I taking the angkot, huh?" Mayra offered herself.
"Eh no, already..you go home, it's okay. There was already an angkotnya" Zahra pointed at an angkot that stopped in front of him.
Eventually, Kawa and Mayra surrendered.
"Be careful" whispered Kawa.
Zahra nodded, she looked at Kawa and Mayra from inside the walking angkot, then smiled faintly.
Kawa put on her helmet and immediately left the place. Mayra immediately climbed onto the motior and held on tightly to Kawa's body as the motor was running. Kawa was shocked when Mayra did that.
"I'm afraid of falling" Mayra yelled at Kawa a little, as if she knew what Kawa was feeling. Kawa did not answer. It's getting dark.
"Not that I want to take a chance, but I want this person behind me to be you, Zahra.." Kawa said as she continued to stare at the streets. While Mayra tightened her grip.
"But I thank you, for giving me a chance to sit together today" Kawa smiled.
