Chapter 37 – Life of Denis

"Where are you taking me?" asked Aura who had been driving in a car driven by Denis, Denis brought Aura after college, Aura just came along. Did not know if he would be taken far enough away from the area of his residence and campus.

"I'm not going to mess around, I'm taking you to a place you might like." Denis kept driving.

The stranded cat captivity, to where Denis brought Aura. The girl was silent for a moment as she stared at the writing in front of the entrance gate.

"Why don't you like Aura cats?" Denis asked. Aura then looked at Denis excitedly.

"Let's go in!" aura said impatiently.

"Whoah! Soft feathers are many." Aura walked beside Denis by hugging a beautiful white cat in her carrier. The arrival of the two of them was immediately welcomed by hundreds of cats that were roaming freely in the yard and inside the shelter house, all the cats there were well cared for.

"I can't stand it, everything's cute." Aura stroked one by one the heads of the cats that came to her with a happy feeling.

"Grand-mom!" shocked by a man who guarded the place, Denis who was cool to notice the behavior of Aura turned to the person who reprimanded him.

"Why did you suddenly come here?" ask the man to get Denis a seat.

"I brought my future wife here, I thought she wouldn't like this place. I was wrong." Answer Denis.

"Hey I should have said that, you're a cleaning man, just picky food. I didn't think you liked cats either." Aura feels there is a misunderstanding with Denis, she does not think Denis is a man who loves animals.

"Mr Denis is the person who became the donor of this place and also the owner of this place. So that the animals here can be well maintained." Said the man guarding the place.

"Denis is so good." Hearing the words coming out of Aura's mouth, Denis blushed in embarrassment. Aura rarely praised Denis as sincerely as he is now.

"I didn't expect you to have a future wife by now."

"I won't be forever in a singles' house."

"I-I'm sorry Sir!" the man felt guilty.

"No need to apologize, I'm not mad at you." Then tell the man to leave.

"Do you still want to go around here?" denis asked Aura who of course Aura immediately nodded excitedly.

"Do you like cats?" ask Denis.

"Like it." Aura spoke out firmly.

"Sama, I keep one at home. I wanted to show it to you." Denis smiled.

"Why smile?" Aura curious.

"I'm happy because you like what I like too." Denis.

"What if I don't like cats?" ask Aura berandai.

"When you saw you were silent in front of the gate it made me flutter confused, if you really don't like cats I'll learn to stay away from them too." Denis. "But you like it I'm so happy." Denis smiled brightly.

"Do you have any valuable experience with this animal?" tanya Aura looked at Denis who seemed to want to tell her something.

"Yes, when I lost everything. One of them came to me.  I feel like I have a debt of gratitude to this hairy creature." Denis stroked the head of the cat sitting nearby.

"Lost... Everything?" Aura did not understand, back then there were only the two of them. Because the caretaker of the place is also not so much and they have their own territory to take care of the cats.

"When I lost both my parents in a big accident, I became a kara. At first no one cared about me, even I was betrothed, my fiance excommunicated me and left me when I needed someone to lean on." Denis told her while leaning back on the park chair, Aura listened to her story carefully.

"The cat came in when I was very sad, when I was only 12 years old, and I was forced to leave my childhood and start working hard.

"Continuing what my late parents did before they died. Adra Company, I accepted the responsibility of the company when I was very young, guided by my family's right hand. The one who is most loyal to my family." Denis recounted it very flatly without any feelings, as if his feelings at that time had been eliminated, there was no time for him who was a child even to just grieve the death of his parents.

"It must be very hard, I'm sorry I don't know anything about you." Aura. "But you're so great, I don't know how smart you are, at 12 you can already run a business in the world of technology." Aura amazement.

"Not intending to be arrogant, but as you should know I have an IQ that is above the average normal human even above the IQ of a genius. Since the age of 5 years I have been able to operate a computer and have been able to hack government data. Now if I wanted to I could hack some of this country's satellites." Clearly Denis, Aura gulped her saliva between astonishment and shock.

"I can't believe I'm stuck with a dangerous man. If a lot of people know what you're capable of, you're going to be targeted by bad guys."

"Not many know I have such intelligence, it's just that the dangerous ones are business rivals who want to get rid of me like my parents did."

"So, did someone kill both of your parents?" ask Aura again and Denis nodded. Aura didn't know if Denis' world had such a dark story, just because of money.

"Is it okay to tell me about this here? What if there's a spy." Aura was afraid if anyone heard her.

"It's okay there's a lot of my men out there." It turns out that Denis had been on guard from the beginning in this place, Denis had deliberately wanted to tell everything to Aura.

"I wonder how old you are now." Aura said because no children know for sure the age of Denis is how Denis only mentions the date and month of birth only.

"Yes, 25 years." Denis had not kept it a secret to Aura.

"Still young, but you've become an important, great person." Aura was amazed, because she knew who Denis was, Aura just asked everything she wanted to know about Denis.

"But because of that since I was 12 years old I lost my youth Aura, I never went to school again because I had to inherit everything. I lost it all. There are many people I know, but no one thinks of me as his friend or relative. Since I had started to breathe a sigh of relief with the company that had stabilized, I did what I could not do before as if I were free from the restraints of my duties." Denis says bitter. Aura was moved to hear it.

"Why if you can't stand it you don't stop at the beginning?" tanya Aura did not understand.

"That's how I survive, inherit what I have to inherit and gain power and be feared to survive. Or give power to someone else and I'm eliminated.

"There's nothing I can do but inherit what I'm entitled to survive."

"Cruel..."

"I'm sorry this selfish me got you involved with everything."

"It's okay, if we're meant to be together I won't run away from you anymore." Aura said, she doesn't want to leave Denis alone anymore.

"Either why if it was you, I wanted to be selfish Aura." Denis.

"No matter what, so that you are always close to me even though I must use my power to have you bonded with me. I'll do it." Denis's mind stared at the silent Aura at that moment.

"No need for power, if you have gained my heart, enough you are always by my side with loyalty I will always be there for you. I won't let you down as long as you take good care of my heart." Thought Aura wanted to love Denis for who she was.

The two of them dissolved into each other's minds, which they did not realize their current thoughts were mutual.
