The Love of Alika

Eps 1's

 

A year has passed since the painful incident that night. Since Alika's new life without a David next to her. Alika begins to rearrange her days and learns to forget the nightmare. Although that does not mean he will forget all the memories with the man who always looked at him with love.

The memories with David were too precious for him to bury in the deepest part of his heart. The memories were too beautiful for him to forget. Then it would be better if all the memories remain in his mind, as well as his love for the man who will always be kept tight in the bottom of his heart.

Alika believes that although now David's body can no longer take care of him, but the soul of the man will always be present to accompany him. Like at his birthday party tonight.

Alika can feel that the man who is now sleeping in the arms of the earth came to celebrate the increase in his age. Because at first glance the girl who is currently 18 years old saw the figure of –more precisely the shadow, or hallucinations, or whatever the name– it stands among the crowd of guests while smiling happily.

“Saengil Chukahae, Al..!”

Suddenly the loud voice of someone resuscitated Alika from the daydream. “Hei,” reply slowly while looking for a cursory figure had seized his mind.

“Who to find, Al?”

“Hah? Oh, don't look for anybody, Nad.”

For a moment Alika was silent. He was actually still expecting that the guy he loved really came on this special day.

“Tuh kan lo bengong again. I don't have to mostly dream about it. Mending now you come with me because it's time you made a candle.”

Without waiting for an answer or explanation from her best friend, Nadia –the only best friend of Alika– immediately dragged Alika until the girl stood in front of her birthday cake.

All the invited guests who came to the party cheered while singing the song Happy Birthday to Alika. Unrelenting smile expands decorate the face of the girl who tonight became the queen at the event. For a moment Alika forgot the hallucination that some time ago had seized her attention.

“Make a wish first, Al..!”

Alika just grimaced as she stuck out her tongue, “Sorry, forgot! Hehe..”.

Shortly after, Alika closed her eyes. In his heart, the girl pleaded. He wants tonight to meet David, the man he still loves, even if he only met the man in a dream.

Alika immediately blew out her candle after she finished making a wish. Applause graced the moment. Papa and Mama also gave hugs and kisses on both cheeks Alika.

Tonight was a really special night for Alika. And he hopes that with age, this could be the beginning of a revival of his dark past.

“Lo earlier make a wish what, Al?” nadia asked on the sidelines of their conversation.

“Dong secrets! It's kayak time by the way.”

“Yes, Al... same I still use the secret of all lo!” nadia said as she pinched Alika's cheek.

“AAWWW!!! Pain, Nad!” Alika squealed in pain because Nadia was too hard to pinch her cheek.

“I want to see David tonight. Even if only in a dream. That's my application,”

Suddenly Nadia felt a deep sadness hearing Alika mention that name again. Especially after so long Alika never brought up her lover who had already left this world.

The face that had been shining cheerfully, now again decorated with cloud cloud cloud overcast. It was as if the events of one year ago were back in Alika's eyes.

“Lo still has not sincerely released the departure of David?”

Alika wiped some tears that had fallen soaked her cheeks. “Gue doesn't know, Nad. It was all like a nightmare to me. I still feel like David is here tonight for me.”

“Lo can't do that, Al. If you can't catch David, maybe he can't calm down there either."

“Gue misses him, Nad.” This time Alika could no longer hold back her tears. For the umpteenth time the girl cried bitterly in the arms of her best friend.

“Gue understands the feeling of lo, Al. But anyway you have to sincerely David went. He can no longer return here.” Nadia felt sorry to see her best friend continue to fall into her sadness.
