The Love of Alika

Eps 15's

In the afternoon, Alika was alone at the edge of her swimming pool. Occasionally his hands toyed with water to cause the sound of chips. Lian's speech this afternoon was still ringing in his mind.

What the hell happened to that guy? Why did he suddenly invite her to dinner together. Even he himself will pick up Alika at his house. If indeed there is no specific purpose, they can make a pact to meet at the place of eating. In other words they did not leave together.

From inside the house, Mamah Alika who was about to enter her room immediately stopped when she saw her daughter sitting pensive by the pool. Slowly his mother approached Alika.

    “Why are you, Al? How it looks so tangled,”

    “For much thought, Ma.”

His mother laughed softly. “Little child like you what do you think anyway, dear? Most just a guy problem.”

    “That's it, Ma, who keeps thinking.”

    “Why? You fight again with Radit?” Her mother looked at Alika suspiciously.

    “Nno, Ma. Alika is doing well with Radit.”

His mother was getting curious. If it wasn't for Radit if there was another guy who was close to his daughter. His mother then sat down next to Alika.

    “Mamah still wants his son Aunt Ratna right?”

    “Lian you mean? Yes, Mamah still inget.”

    “She made me dinner ntar malem.”

    His mother clucked, “Oh. . . So you're dizzy because of that tho, Al? If so, you already know. . . “

    “Kok Mamah can know? I haven't told anything about Mamah.” asked Alika confused.

    Alika was even more confused to hear her Mom's words. “What do you mean? Alika does not know.”

    “So gini, Mamah same Aunt Ratna plans to dinner tonight at the French restaurant where Temen Mamah. The restaurant just opened today, so Mamah and Aunt Ratna were invited for the inauguration tonight. The plan is we want to invite you to join Lian. Let you and Lian be familiar. But suddenly Papah you call, he said there would be a family meeting at his brother's place. So Mama can't leave. From the invitation, Aunt Ratna told Lian to make sure you go to that place. Yeah. . . Itung-itung dressing Mamah same Aunt Ratna who can not come,” cerocos Mamahnya at length. Alika only frowned hearing her Mamah story.

    “How important is Radit? Is he not angry that I went with another guy?”

    “You didn't tell Radit. Today he went to Lombok for a study tour campus.”

    Alika was shocked. How many surprises did he get today? Is it April Fool's Day?

    “Kok Radit didn't talk to me if he went to Lombok?”

    “So early in the morning he came here, but you have left school.”

Alika did not ask any further about her boyfriend. For him, his girlfriend's life is none of his business. Even good if Radit went to Lombok, so he could be free from all his attention which Alika thinks is just made up. Hope it goes a long time.

For the time being, his dinner with Lian was far more of a concern. Alika imagined what she would do with the guy who had not gotten along with her.

They may eat without a single sound coming out of their mouths. Must be very boring. Or rather they will make a mess on the show. Better not, because it would be embarrassing. It's better to be bored than embarrassed.

    “Kok is dumb, Al? Buruan. Lian picked you up at 8, right?”

    “No need to get ready, Mah. Just go with guys rese’ doang.”

His mother only sighed hearing Alika's reply.
