Chapter 61 Desire

Life continues, inversely proportional to the marriage of Denny and Hanna who did not progress like a husband and wife. It's been almost a year since their marriage, but Denny has avoided it more. Hanna remained patient in dealing with Denny's attitude. Now they have been living in a large house given by Mama Denny, as a wedding gift after the wedding reception was held very luxurious in a hotel. Denny is still doing his extreme hobby activities, Hanna can not prevent let alone forbid it. He could only pray, Denny came home healthy and safe. As a wife, Hanna carried out her duties kindly and sincerely. But he never got the rights from Denny. It was Mama Denny who was impatient to see the development of their relationship. Mama Denny often visits the house asking for their news, Hanna always tells a good story. She doesn't want Denny to be more indifferent to her if she's complaining about the bad things about their marriage.

In the dining room, Denny and Hanna sat facing each other eating together.

“Mas, tomorrow is there time?” Hanna looked at Denny, who was feeding food into her mouth.

“Why?” Denny did not answer Hanna's question, he asked back and continued eating without looking at Hanna's face.

“Tomorrow we are invited to the same dinner mama,” Hanna replied quietly by staring at the cold reaction of Denny's face.

“At home mom?” Ask Denny in a flat voice.

“No, mom invited us in the restaurant,”Hanna gently answered Denny's question.

“You send me the address, and you go first later I follow after the meeting.”

“Alright, I'll send you. Thank you for being willing to go with me,” replied Hanna softly. In his heart he wanted to go along with Denny to that place. As usual, he'll go first and Denny will follow later. The return will be the same, Hanna was escorted by the driver back home, Denny returned to the office and came home late at night on the grounds that there was still work that was not finished.

Dinner was a habit of walking with ice and silence. Talks happen, what if there is something important to talk about. Hanna was an ordinary jolly girl, now more moody. Denny is not the place to share laughter and jokes. Denny's cold attitude changed the nature of Hanna who became quiet. Denny felt that, deep in his heart he felt very guilty. He does it all so that Hanna gives up on him and chooses to leave him.

After eating, Denny again busied himself in front of his laptop screen. Hanna still patiently accompanied, even if just watching TV or seeing a cell phone reading messages on her personal account. The more the night, not infrequently Hanna fell asleep on the sofa, Denny also woke her asking to move to sleep in the room. They do sleep in the room, but never sleep at the same time. Hanna sleeps more often first, after which Denny will catch up sleeping next to her. Don't imagine there's any warmth going on between the two of them, Denny is really keeping intimacy distance with Hanna. Until this moment, Hanna had never been touched. Hanna herself desperately wants Denny's touch and affection. She could only stare at the handsome face of her husband lying sound asleep by her side without being able to touch.

In the afternoon, Hanna was dressed up pretty. He wanted to look attractive in Denny's eyes. Outside the house, a car has been waiting with a loyal driver waiting for Hanna to get to her destination. Hanna immediately went out of the room, went to the kitchen to meet her maid and told her before she left.

“Bik, I went to family dinner with Mas Denny and Mama, take care of the house. Do not forget to close all doors and ask Mr. Ipul in front to help check all doors and windows.”

Bik Surtik, the middle-aged woman listened with a heart-day message that came out of Hanna's tiny lips.

“Wah, don't worry madam, everything that mistress ordered I will work on. Madam is very pretty and don't rush home madam, have fun with mister. Nyonya has long not been traveling with the master,” smile sumringah Bik Surtik see his master look beautiful and look very happy.

“Yes, may your wish be achieved Bik. I go first yeah, don't forget my message earlier.” Hanna smiled and turned around to leave the kitchen.

Hanna has arrived at the promised restaurant. It looks like Mama Denny has arrived first and smiles to welcome the arrival of her favorite daughter-in-law.

“You must have come by yourself again, and Denny will follow later?” Mama Denny asked with an annoyed face thinking about Denny's attitude.

“Iya, Mother. Mas Denny is still in a meeting, soon to the point,” Hanna smiled and tried to comfort Mama Denny.

“Hanna don't be too patient with Denny, must be hard with him at all times. He was exactly the nature of his late Papa, a workaholic. If let go, there will be no time for you” Mama Denny to look gently and hold warm Hanna's hand.

“Iya Ma, Mas Denny is indeed busy, he said there is a new program project in the company. The meeting can not be postponed, especially left behind.” Hanna was trying to find an excuse, so that Denny's mom wouldn't worry about her. Hanna doesn't want Mama Denny trying to manage her relationship, especially now that Denny's attitude is cold. If until his mother intervenes, Denny will increase reject him.

Not long after the person they were waiting for came.

“Ma's Night,” Denny greets Mama and sits next to Hanna.

“Hem, Denny, I know you're busy, but it's quiet time for family. Until now I see you two alone, there has been no sign of Sikecil's presence. Mama wants, see your granddaughter before mama goes.” Mama Denny's face looked lethargic.

Hanna was surprised to hear Denny's mother say, she didn't expect to hear those words.

“Ma, we eat huh? I'm hungry, since lunch has not eaten, waiting to eat here same mama.” Hanna tried to shift the conversation completely beyond her wishful thinking.

Denny firmly clenched his two hands resting on his thighs. A request that he could not possibly make. His heart still could not forget Beautiful. Losing Lovely felt like just last night happened to him.

Hanna saw the change in Denny's attitude, there was a bad feeling in her mind. Mama Denny said at the wrong time. Hanna doesn't know what to do to melt Denny's mood. He may be too fantasized about talking well about their marriage, so Mama Denny also thought that they could have a husband and wife relationship.

“Alright, we eat now, we talk later we continue,” Mama Denny did not continue his speech. Seeing Hanna beg a little, she could not bear to let Hanna hold her hunger any longer.

The three of them started eating. Denny could not eat comfortably, his mother's words still ringing in his ears.
