THE LEGEND OF THE SWORD GOD

THE LEGEND OF THE SWORD GOD
V1 #CH 8 — Go Wanderlust.

Heilong returned to his room and did not attend the banquet because he wanted to continue his cultivation practice. He had to stabilize his aura because the breakthrough last night made his aura often suddenly churn.

Although Heilong had managed to defeat Long Chen whose cultivation level was much higher than him, but Heilong could not be arrogant and became lazy to practice. Because, he was aware that his current cultivation level was still only the initial level in the cultivation world.

Time passed quickly, not feeling Heilong had been in the room a week spent just to meditate.

Heilong then opened his eyes slowly and ended his meditation.

“How long have I been meditating? My stomach feels very hungry,” said Heilong holding his stomach that continues to sound.

Heilong then stepped out of his room and headed to the kitchen because he did not see any food on the dining table in his room.

In the kitchen, Heilong found some servants who instantly gave him a very good meal.

Without further ado, Heilong immediately finished all the food provided by the servants because he had not eaten for days.

After he finished eating in the kitchen and his stomach felt full, Heilong walked towards his father's room to chat.

**

Arriving at Long Bao's room the two of them started chatting.

"What moves did you use against Long Chen yesterday? The stance seemed to be much stronger than the ice treads splitting the sea," Long Bao asked curiously.

"The moves I used yesterday were moves I accidentally created while I was practicing," Heilong replied casually.

"Oh .. So it's just like that, it's worth it Dad seemed to have first seen that style," said Long Bao who began to be amazed at his son's ability because at this young age, he was just like this, he has managed to create a style. Long Bao then continued asking. “Then what are your plans after this, will you return to Blue Cloud College?”

"No. I'm not going back to the Blue Cloud College because I've been kicked out of there. I will prove to them that their decision to expel me was the worst decision they ever made. Dad, I want to travel in search of experience and I will find a great Teacher out there. I hope you allow it," Heilong asked Long Bao expectantly.

"Are you serious!? Where are your plans to go?" asked Long Bao to make sure.

"It looks like I'm going to the Northern Continent. I heard the air is very cold there. Such a place is perfect for us cultivators who are steeped in ice element cultivation techniques to practice. And, I also heard that there are a lot of extremely strong ice element Beasts there. If there is a chance, I also want to fight with those Beasts," Heilong replied.

"Do you know how nature is in the Northern Continent?" ask Long Bao.

"I've heard it from Grandfather that the Northern Continent has always been shrouded in very thick snow. The snowfall that exists in the Northern Continent never stops falling even though it should have already entered the summer," Heilong replied.

"Did you also know that there is also a very powerful Sect there?" long Bao asked.

"I don't know. Can you tell me a little bit of information about the sect?" heilong asked looking at Long Bao.

"Dad knew very little about the sect because the sect had closed itself off from the outside world. Even I heard that the Emperor of the Black Tortoise Kingdom has great respect for the Sect Master of the sect," Long Bao replied.

Seeing the confidence in Heilong's eyes, Long Bao could only sigh deeply and explain everything he knew about the Northern Continent region.

''Since you insist on going to the Northern Continent then Father will allow you. However, you must promise me that you will return safely. Remember that! Never act recklessly when you face difficulties, think carefully before you make a decision,” Long Bao said.

''Don't worry, Dad. I will always remember Dad's message," Heilong replied trying to calm Long Bao down.

Four days have passed.

Now was the time for Heilong to leave the Eastern Continent and head to the Northern Continent.

Heilong did not bring much stuff because he was afraid that it would hinder his journey. He only brought some clothes, some dry food and some gold pieces.

''Dad, I'll go, '' Heilong said looking into Long Bao's eyes as he bid farewell.

''Be careful my son. During the journey you must remember all the messages that Dad gave you, Long Bao replied.

Heilong immediately climbed onto his horse and rushed off towards the north.

After two days of horseback riding, Heilong finally arrived at a village closest to the border gate of the Eastern Continent.

He continued to rush his horse hard to enter the village because he was already exhausted.

Heilong finally stopped in front of an inn and rented a room that was quite nice.he then rested and slept well there.

Suddenly he was surprised by the sound of people asking for help. Time has shown midnight.

"Please .... Please .... There's a robbery."

Heilong who heard the sound of people screaming for help immediately woke up and rushed out to help.

However, as he was about to pass through the inn door, an innkeeper held him back. "Wait for the young man, don't go there because the sound is just a trap."

"What do you mean?" Heilong asked the innkeeper who was holding him.

"That sound is a trap. Every new person who comes here, that voice will definitely appear and every time someone goes there to help, they will never come back" the innkeeper replied.

"Can you explain it to me in more detail," Heilong asked.

"Actually that voice was the sound of a band of robbers in disguise. They always pretended to be victims and would attack the person who helped them" the innkeeper replied.

"Then why do they do such a hard way? Wouldn't it be easier if they came here and attacked this place" Heilong asked.

"Because they were all trapped in the forbidden area. There is a tomb of a saint surrounded by a very strange protective field. Everyone who enters into the protective field will never be able to come out again,” replied the innkeeper, he paused for a moment before returning to explain. "They were all extremely ruthless and extremely greedy robbers. The residents had warned them not to enter the place. But, after they learned of the many treasures stored in the tomb, they did not want to hear the warnings of the residents and barged into it."

"So that's the story. If I can tell what the name of this village is and what is the name of the tomb?" Ask Heilong.

"This village is named Wage Village and that sacred tomb is a meal belonging to the golden swordswoman Qiu, "the innkeeper replied.

After hearing the story from the innkeeper, Heilong abandoned his intention to go to their aid and decided to return to his room.

Inside the room, Heilong was very curious about the tomb and planned to visit it one day.
