Long Bai whose consciousness was beginning to recover, tried to stand up. But in his body there was not the slightest remnant of strength. Finally he decided to crawl.

He began to crawl closer to that boundary line slowly. One meter, two meters, five meters have been passed.

"Dead four more meters, then I will make it past that line and pass this test" Long Bai said.

"Young man, why are you so stubborn. Your situation is already like that, you better just give up and I will heal you soon," exclaimed the sword spirit while looking at Long Bai with pity.

"What's your excuse?" ask the sword spirit.

"Strength. I need strength to protect the people I care about therefore I must pass this test," Long Bai replied.

"Then do as you please. I won't bother you."

The sword spirit lowered its hand and the pressure that had been attacking Long Bai's body instantly disappeared.

The pressure-free Long Bai was finally able to stand up but as his energy drained away, he could only walk slowly.

After trudging along, he finally made it past that line.

"Welcome young man you passed this 3rd stage exam and also you managed to get a confession from me for passing the exam that I gave."

The sword spirit then stretched out its hand and a rainbow-colored beam appeared to heal all the wounds that were on Long Bai's body.

"Gross the 3rd stage exam?! How could? Isn't there still a lot of sword spirits there that I have to defeat," Long Bai asked in disbelief.

"Who are you really? Why are you able to decide on the outcome of the exam from the Genbu Divine Spirit Beast," Long Bai asked curiously.

"I am the owner of the lake of ice a thousand swords. I am the sword goddess Li Ziqi. And why am I the one who decided the result of this 3rd stage examination, because actually the examiner in this 3rd stage is me," replied the sword spirit.

"I graduated too. Haha ..." Long Bai laughed happily. "Then can I use you now to be my sword."

"You won't be able to use me as your sword even if I admit you. If you don't believe you can try it," Li Ziqi said.

Li Ziqi then turned into an extremely beautiful sword. The tip of the sword was blue and the handle of the jade-colored sword was decorated with dazzling gemstones. Each of the gemstones had a different color according to the color of the spirit element.

"The Blue Star Heaven Sword." Long Bai read the inscription carved on the blade of the sword.

"Now try it yourself, can you lift and move me freely when in the form of a sword" Li Ziqi said.

Long Bai moved forward and placed his hand on the handle of the sword. However, after many times he tried with all his might the result remained the same the sword did not move in the slightest.

Li Ziqi was back again in a sword spirit form but this sword spirit form of Li Ziqi was more human-like. "Now you know that I'm not lying. Your current strength is not enough to be able to use me. Let's first meet the Genbu Divine Beast Spirit, after which I'll give you a weapon."

Li Ziqi flicked her hand and the flow of time that had stopped, had now gone on as usual.

"Our respect to the sword goddess," all the sword spirits saluted Li Ziqi upon seeing her.

"Happy young man you managed to pass this ice hell test," the voice of the Genbu Divine Spirit Beast echoed.
