"What does it mean that ice is hard and cold, yet it has a color as clear as water?"

Long Bai wondered in his mind the meaning of the message spoken by the Genbu Divine Beast Spirit before he entered this illusory world.

"Hard means not giving up on obstacles when making a decision. Cold means no hesitation in making decisions and as clear as water means no evil in his mind. A person's mind must be as clear as water in making a decision. I finally understood the meaning of this test. This is a test to test how fast and fair I am when I make a decision. The successor to the heritage of the divine beast spirit must of course not have an evil heart and mind."

Inside the anxiety in his mind, Long Bai seemed to have gained enlightenment. He finally found the purpose of the exam of this second stage and also the way to clear this exam.

Long Bai then whispered something softly. "Thank you for making me meet my girlfriend again, but you're not her. You are the inner demon that is in my mind because it is in any way I have to defeat you. Though heavy I must destroy you."

Right after Long Bai finished speaking he instantly unleashed the power of his ice energy and froze his inner demons when in his arms.

"I'm sorry Sherly, if one day we are destined to meet again in the next life then I will take good care of you" Long Bai said sadly.

Sherly's shadow then emerged from within the ice with a happy smile and waved her hand towards Long Bai. He seemed to tell Long Bai that don't worry about his situation because he was happy at the moment.

The chunk of ice that shut down the inner demon was finally destroyed along with the loss of Sherly's shadow.

"Sherley....!!" Long Bai shouted in tears and extended his hand towards Sherly but only the pieces of ice were reached.

The surrounding area slowly turned dark again, much like the moment when he was about to enter this illusory world. His consciousness slowly blurred and he finally went back to sleep.

This girl is so pretty. His skin was pure white and as smooth as jade. His hair was silver and so long that it covered his back. The girl also has blue eyes, very different from the color of the eyes of the people in this place. She wore a Blue royal dress with a white Tiger motif surrounding the dress.

Suddenly the girl shed tears as she remembered the face of the person she loved the most.

"What really happened to me?Why did I suddenly think back to him? Did the gods also bring to this place the same as me so that someday we could reunite."

"Greetings to the Princess. The Emperor asked you to meet him right now. The emperor told me that there was something very important that he wanted to talk about privately with you, "a servant suddenly came up to him and prostrated himself while delivering a message.

Long Bai's consciousness finally recovered and he reopened his eyes.

In front of his eyes at the moment, he could see the Genbu Divine Spirit Beast standing while smiling towards him.

"Happy young man you have successfully passed this second stage examination," said the Genbu Divine Beast Spirit.

"I originally thought that I would be able to pass this second stage exam very easily. Because I was so sure that there would be nothing in this world that could affect my mind. But it seems that I have been wrong, he in my mind turned out to be a very evil inner demon," Long Bai replied ridiculing himself.
