V1 #CH 10 — Moon Wolf.

After Heilong had obtained the clue from Xue Xianzi, he immediately went on a journey to find a way out of this forest.

Along the way, Heilong looked unsettled. Because he felt someone was watching him from a distance.

“Abviously, why did I feel like someone was watching me?” muttered Heilong inwardly while looking around.

“What sound is it?!” Heilong was surprised because he suddenly heard the roar of a Beast that sounded so close.

“I almost forgot that this Northland Forest is the lair of the Moon Wolf Beast. If only one tail had appeared, I would have been able to face. However, if a group of wolves were to come to surround me, then I would definitely be an easy meal for them. I must hurry out of this Forest.”

Heilong recalled that it was full moon night and the Moon wolf Beasts had a habit of going out foraging during the full moon. Doesn't that mean if he too would become the food of that group of Moon Wolf Beasts he would otherwise leave this forest immediately?

Heilong directly spurred his horse at high speed towards the forest exit indicated by Xue Xianzi.

He knew that Moon Wolf Beasts had the habit of hunting in groups and they had high speed because they were Beasts that harnessed the power of the wind element.

Not to mention their keen sense of sight and smell which makes them the most feared hunting Beasts in the Northland Forest.

“Wire!! The Beasts have chased me. There is no other way, I have to fight the Wolf Beasts of this Month.”

Heilong immediately got off his horse and put his ice element power into both hands.

A very strong cold started to radiate from Heilong's body and made the air around this place turn extremely cold.

The sound of the Moon Wolf Beast's howl rang out to each other in the Forest and made the once very quiet night even more gripping.

A group of Moon Wolf Beasts appeared against Heilong.

These Moon Wolf Beasts numbered twenty tails and their strength was all at the Seventh tier Warrior level. The same level as Heilong's current cultivation level. However, they are superior in terms of numbers.

This pack of wolves started advancing and attacked Heilong.

Heilong who had been very vigilant since then, instantly dodged the attacks of those Moon Wolf Beasts nimbly.

“Live five more,” Heilong said staring at the remaining Moon Wolf Beast.

The sixteen Moon Wolf Beast immediately advanced and attacked Heilong along with the seventeenth Moon Wolf Beast.

Heilong immediately dodged and took his sword.

Nine balls of ice energy carrying an extremely powerful wind energy force appeared and directly struck the remaining five wolves.

Heilong was finally able to feel calm after successfully killing those twenty Moon Wolf Beasts.

He then put down his sword and sat down while recovering his energy.

He suddenly felt something very strong approaching with a very frightening killing intent.

This Moon Wolf Beast looked extremely angry that all of his men had been killed by Heilong.

The surface of the ground began to shake violently as the wolf exploded in strength and prepared to attack Heilong.

“This wolf is very strong and looks very different from the group of wolves that I defeated earlier, it looks like he is the King of the Moon Wolf Beasts that are in this forest. Maybe this is my luck,” Heilong grinned.

Filled with an extremely powerful killing intent, the Moon Wolf Beast King immediately leaped towards Heilong standing up while directing his extremely sharp claws.

In an instant, Heilong had been behind that Moon Wolf Beast King and took out the punching style of the Wind Freezing Ice Tread.

“Feel this punch of mine!!”

Heilong pointed his fist towards the Moon Wolf Beast King's face.

However, the Moon Wolf Beast King had apparently noticed Heilong's attack and managed to dodge.

The sound of an explosion appeared as Heilong's misshapen hit a huge rock and crushed it.

Heilong then took out his sword. This time he could no longer be careless. Because, the strength left in his body was only enough for a single attack.

He saw a Goa beside him and ran inside the Goa.

The Moon Wolf Beast King who had already lost his temper due to his anger, immediately ran after Heilong.

The Moon Wolf Beast King was finally trapped in Goa's mouth, his huge body was wedged at Goa's entrance and unable to move.

Heilong who saw the incident became laughing out loud. “Hahaha …. You finally got into my trap. Now take this. form the Nine Storms Ice Sword.”

The sound of an extremely loud explosion reverberated as the ice energy ball formed from Heilong's sword stance smashed into the Moon Wolf Beast King's body.

After which, Heilong walked back towards the body of the wolf pack he had killed earlier.

“Although their bodies were destroyed, there should still be parts of their bodies that I can utilize,” Heilong thought as he looked at the place where the Moon Wolves died.

Heilong finally saw twenty jade-like green-colored crystal balls and was the size of his fist. He took all the crystal balls.

“So like this the wind element energy core ball form belongs to those Moon Wolf Beasts. I need to absorb it immediately. My cultivation level will rise quickly after I have managed to absorb this much wind energy core ball.”
