Ch. 77 - Mysterious Figure

Rey was currently floating with a glowing body, she turned her head in all directions in search of light but all she saw was a void of boundless darkness, ‘Am I dead?’ Rey tried to move her body but she felt nothing at all.

“Ow, it turns out that I am dead,” Rey smiled cynically, who would have thought that the destroyer who is anti-death like him was dead because of the moves he put out himself.

"Ck, even though the Qi I used was very little but I did not think the explosion was so big, so it died silly right," Rey grumbled annoyedly, saying, he was not willing to die just because of an accident committed by him, he wanted to die honorable or at least his name was remembered by the world.

"A long time no see" A man's voice suddenly resounded in Rey's ears.

In front of Rey at this moment appeared the figure of the boy who was very similar to her but his eyes were pitch-black like his demonic eyes. Rey was neither scared nor panicked, she was dead so there was nothing to worry about, instead she was quite curious about the figure.

“Who are you? Why do you look so similar to me?” Rey stared intently at the black eyes of a figure similar to her.

The figure smiled, he floated around Rey, “I am the real you, I am the real embodiment buried deep inside you,” The figure stopped right in front of Rey's face.

As their eyes looked down, Rey felt a terrifying feeling that was very similar to her demonic eyes, not just her demonic eyes, as the aura emitted by the figure was very similar to her dark power.

“I didn't think you'd forget who you really are,” The figure changed into a form resembling Rey while still being Riu in the abyss world.

Of course it made Rey surprised, her shock growing as she currently stood gallantly facing the millions of cultivators. “What the fuck?! Not that this was the beginning of my last fight in the world of abyss,” Rey gasped because it turned out that she could move her body freely, she could even feel the gust of wind that hit her gently.

Whether it's real or not he doesn't care anymore. Rey pointed her sword forward, “My sword is already thirsty for your blood and rotten flesh, here forward all of you!” Rey ran forward at incredible speed.

“Harrrrghhh! All of you, attack him!!!” They all advanced in unison like a colony of ants raiding their prey.

Rey grinned widely which made her face even scarier to look at, the rhythm of her heartbeat increasing as the distance between her and her millions of enemies drew closer. Rey, who had been looking forward to slashing back the people who made her die. Rey's left hand is seen forming a Qi bomb, he throws the Qi bomb forward. They all scattered away from the Qi bomb, pushing each other and stepping on without caring anymore for their friends because of course their lives are more valuable than others.

An extremely violent explosion occurred, those within range of the Qi bomb blast died with their bodies shattered into pieces to produce a blood mist, resulting in a massive explosion, while the people who were outside the range of the Qi bomb explosion bounced far away not even a few who died because of the wind pressure generated from the explosion turned out to be very strong like a high-level move. Without waiting for the explosion to subside, Rey coated her body with Qi and broke through the explosion.

Inside the explosion, Rey could see nothing but a mist of fire mixed with blood. However, with each step of his feet, the voice of the enemy in front of him grew clearer and clearer. Rey pulled out her sword as her eyes faintly looked at the group of enemies that seemed to be on alert for her arrival.

Rey picked up the right momentum then flew at an incredible speed. They faintly saw a shadow within the mist, the shadow becoming clearer until it appeared fully revealing the figure of Rey who was darting towards them.

“Awas!” Shouts one of them but they realize too late because Rey is darting away at a speed already followed by the eyes.

The explosion occurs when Rey collides with them. The explosion produced ground dust that soared high into the air, as not being able to see anything made all of them panic and attack anything near them. Rey smiled here and then closed her eyes so that her eyes did not enter the dust, suddenly she swung her sword back and unexpectedly turned her sword pierced someone who tried to turn her back.

“Sial where is he?!”

“I can't see anything!”

“Don't panic and also don't attack fucking originals!”

They all stopped his attack, but suddenly a head rolled followed by a hand and a foot drifting in an indeterminate direction, it terrified them. They tried not to panic, but again their friend's body parts were thrown to and fro, of course it makes them all panic and blindly attack people near them who they think as Rey.

One by one they die either because it was killed by Rey's attack or because of their own. Moments later, the dust that was scattered was blown away by the wind, those who were outside the dust puffed up at the sight of thousands of their comrades dead with bodies that were no longer intact. Rey was sitting on a corpse with a sword stuck on the back of the body. Those who saw it were frightened but still did not leave the battle or try to run, for they were too afraid of their leader.

“Basic of evil beings! What kind of monster are you, huh?!”

“Catience man! You look more like a demon than a human like us!"

Rey pulled out her sword from the corpse's back, she stared intently at them with her demonic eyes. Suddenly Rey was right in front of them and held the two faces of the person who insulted her earlier, “Suck!”

“Arrrgghhhh!” Shouts sounded when their bodies were sucked out leaving only skin and bones.

All of that happened so quickly that they could only hold their breath while watching their comrade die so horribly. Rey slammed the corpse that had been made into bones to the ground until it was destroyed, she glanced at the person beside her, “Next.”

They were all goosebumps, they were scattering in an indiscriminate direction without caring about their leader, because their lives were only one if their lives were nine of course they would not run like a coward.

Inside, Rey smiled satisfied to see the eyes full of fear of his enemies. His eyes flickered and suddenly he was already in a different place where he was currently sitting on top of the singasana.

“What the hell is this?!” Rey turned her head around and found everyone bowing respectfully to her.

Rey closed her eyes as she felt that what she saw was an illusion, but when she opened her eyes, it turned out that he was in a different place with a woman holding his hand while running in the rain.

“I-ini?” Rey was surprised because what she saw now was exactly the image she had always seen in her mind.

Rey looked at her hand that was being held by the woman, she felt a feeling flowing inside her. Rey looked at the woman with mixed feelings, as she was about to turn to him, suddenly her vision changed. Rey was sitting limp as she watched the woman who was holding her die right in her arms. Rey cried while kissing the woman's forehead, she felt a deep feeling of sadness when she did not know the woman.

Slowly the image shattered into small fragments, Rey looked around her, she was jolted when she saw the sea of human blood right before her eyes, she saw the sky that turned out to be crying blood.

“What does all this mean?” Rey stared at the sky and let a rain of blood wash over her face.

“Rey...” A voice sounded behind him but when he turned his head turned out to be in the starting place that is a boundless darkness that contains mere emptiness.

A figure similar to Rey reappears, “I don't understand why you can forget yourself just because of a mere feeling, , though you should not be able to feel anything because you are not a living creature but a real manifestation of myself,” The figure approached Rey.

“What do you mean?!” Rey shouted loudly, he was angry because he felt being played by a figure similar to himself.

The figure smiled, “There is a time when you will return to being a real figure or choose to release myself and become a living being in general,” The figure looked at Rey with his demonic eyes, “Remember that you and I are the same, if you throw myself away then you will disappear and if you keep defending yourself then you will become the real person, I hope you don't choose the wrong way forward, even I really hope that you can find the answer without having to choose.”

Rey seemed confused by the words of the figure, but suddenly he felt pain all over the body, “Not that I am dead huh? Why can I still feel pain?!” Slowly his gaze darkened and when he opened his eyes, he was not in the darkness before, but in a room that was quite foreign.

‘Where is this?' Rey turned her head to the side and found Yui who was asleep in a sitting position.

Rey smiled because for some reason when she was with Yui, she felt a warm and happy feeling that was the same as the woman in her memory. Rey was relieved to see Yui doing well even though she still did not know how they had survived the Qi bomb blast before, she still remembered the flames devouring her.

Yui opened her eyes, she rubbed her eyes slowly as drowsiness still assaulted her, as she had not slept for a few days due to guarding Rey. Rey and Yui's eyes meet, Yui closes her mouth from being too shocked by what she sees.

Rey smiled awkwardly, “Ahh, hi Yui,”

Yui cries, she immediately hugs Rey tightly like she doesn't want Rey's figure to leave her life. Rey feels excruciating pain all over her body, she wants to stop Yui but seeing the relief that Yui's face is drawing makes her unbearable, so she can only ignore the pain.

“Ehem...” Deheman's voice sounded loud which made the two of them shocked. Yui with a reddened face immediately released her embrace, while Rey who could only move her head could only guess.

A few footsteps sounds clear as they approached, Yui stepped aside which made Rey clearly see the person who was sneering as it turned out that it was Elder Shen Xuan along with Zenith, Feng Qiuyu, Elders Fengyi, Fui and Liu Ji. Rey was quite surprised to see Liu Ji who looked fine, but compared to that she was quite confused by the arrival of all of them.

They all immediately scatter around Rey except for Liu Ji, but they are instantly stopped by someone, “Stop! You guys can kill him,”

Rey's eyes glared, she knew very well the voice, a voice she had not heard for a long time, you could say it was the voice of someone who became her interlocutor. Slowly an old man walked over, Rey who saw the look of the person was surprised not to play, “Ka-you!!!” Show Rey.

The old man raised his hand, “Yo, accursed man, we meet again, ” The old man smiled sinisterly as he folded his hand.

Rey seemed to be in disbelief at what she was seeing, while the others looked confused because they both seemed to know each other, the most confused being Elder Shen Xuan. The old man was Elder Shen Xuan's teacher who lived in Alas Purwo.

Because it has been thousands of years since you disappeared back then,” Rey forced herself to sit down, she no longer cares about the pain because the figure in front of her is quite influential on her life in the past.

Rey's eyes glared upon hearing her death sword mentioned, “Where is that sword now?!” Rey suddenly stood up and pulled the collar of the elder Teacher Shen Xuan's shirt.

Tia Zhu gulped, if other people who tell stories maybe he will not believe at all but different again if Rey who tells the story because Rey will not invent a thing that actually does not exist.
