Ch. 41 - Looking For a Cause

Right now, Rey, Zenith, and Feng Qiuyu were waiting for Elder Fengyi who was talking to the committee regarding the shortcomings of their team members. Before long Elder Fengyi walked up to the three of them with a smile, it seemed that the conversation had just come to fruition.

“Panitia does not ban sects that lack team members, so you can still join this tournament,”

“Remember, don't get killed, your life is more important than anything.” Said Elder Fengyi who was worried about the three disciples especially his daughter Feng Qiuyu, he naturally did not want to go home alone bringing the news of grief to the Blue Sea Sect.

“Heh, ordinary old man dong, if this destroyer dies surely you will be the one I will meet every night, hahaha!” Rey laughed cheerfully as if she was not afraid of death, in contrast to Zenith and Feng Qiuyu who were trying to calm themselves down because they were about to enter the field of death.

“Feng Qiuyu, you better be safe.” Elder Fengyi said as he gently rubbed his daughter Feng Qiuyu's head.

“Good Dad.”

Finally the three of them stepped away towards the dormitory that had been prepared by the committee, there they would take a break before entering the tournament tomorrow, whereas Elder Fengyi could only look at the three students with a hopeful look.

Flashbacks

Rey who was unconscious made Feng Qiuyu panic instead of playing, let alone Rey's body temperature which was getting colder like a corpse made Feng Qiuyu confused about what to do.

“Ba-how is this?!” Feng Qiuyu did not know what to warm Rey to wear, so he could only hug Rey tightly because maybe her body temperature could make Rey's body slightly warm.

However, it turns out that what he did did not produce results, because Rey's body temperature is getting colder and cooler. Seeing the three people who were unconscious made Feng Qiuyu unable to hold back his tears, he single-handedly did not know what to do for the three people to come to their senses, especially Rey, who is in a very bad situation.

“Tua Fengyi your daughter?!” Zenith pointed in a direction that made Elder Fengyi surprised instead of playing.

The two of them immediately ran over to Feng Qiuyu. After arriving the two of them are shocked with Rey in critical condition.

“My daughter, what really happened?! Why did he come to this?! Where are the other students?! And also why were Father and Zenith unconscious earlier?!” Elder Fengyi showered question after question to Feng Qiuyu.

Feng Qiuyu did not reply because he was too shocked by all the things that had happened to him, even he was unaware that his father and Zenith had been by his side.

While Elder Fengyi was trying to calm his daughter Feng Qiuyu, Zenith saw a horse that looked like yesterday, and then approached the horse.

“Aren't you the horse yesterday? What are you doing here?”

Pegasus did not answer Zenith's question because he could not speak, he only turned his head briefly towards Zenith and then turned his head back to the front.

Zenith was curious as to what the horse nearby was looking at right now, she followed the view of the horse beside her and was surprised to see the body parts scattered everywhere.

“Huekkkkkk.” Zenith vomited because she could not see the disgusting sight in front of her.

Zenith with her pale face staggered towards Elder Fengyi. After arriving, Zenith immediately told him what she saw, of course his words made Elder Fengyi's eyes bulge.

Immediately Elder Fengyi dashed towards the direction pointed at by Zenith, and how surprised he was to see human body parts scattered everywhere.

Elder Fengyi walked up to the corpses to search for information, he was shocked to see the person without legs and arms glaring at him, but when he checked it turned out that the person had been killed, probably out of blood, he thought.

“Hm, mean-spirited.” Inner elder Fengyi while inspecting the corpse's clothes.

Elder Fengyi tried to clean the blood that was stuck on the corpse shirt, he was surprised by the symbol engraved on the corpse shirt.

“This symbol?! Isn't this the symbol of the Blood Sect?!”

The Blood Sect was one of the great sects of the black stream that was already famous for its cruelty, they slaughtered whatever it saw, they were greatly respected by the other black flow sects, they were extremely respected, as for the white flow sect they were a frightening specter that was worth avoiding, not even a few white flow sects had to be destroyed due to their quarrels.

“Who would dare to do this? Was he not afraid of being hunted by the Blood Sect?” Inner Elder Fengyi while walking back towards his daughter Feng Qiuyu.

“My daughter, what really happened? And where are your friends?” Elder Fengyi asked to make sure that among the corpses were not his students, because he could not identify the faces of the corpses, because their faces had been smashed like they had been shredded.

“No.” Answer Rey briefly.

“No!
