"Is this what death feels like..."

Arya could feel her gaze slowly becoming dark, for Arya the last thing she saw was a man stabbing her with a big smile towards her when it was secured by the police.

The foreign man's wide smile immediately made Arya realize that there was someone who was upset with him for refusing various offers to do this back mission.

Arya can at least see the face of the person who was assigned to kill her. He thought that by his death he could pay his guilt to his victims, so that there would be no remorse.

"Are there really no more regrets?"

Arya wanted to laugh at herself, because she felt stupid. Of course there are still so many regrets in his life to his victims, but useless now regret everything because it is too late.

"Now it's too late... If I were to be given a second chance I would definitely use it as penance..."

"I think I'm going crazy, what a stupid thought I have..."

Now Arya felt like she was in endless darkness. The pain in his heart slowly disappeared indicating that he was beginning to go to the afterlife.

When Arya decides to resign with her life, a bright green light appears before her.

Arya's body then emitted a green glow that slowly began to envelop her body before her gaze turned dark again.

The weirdness returned when Arya started to feel the pain again, but this time she felt her whole body hurt like it had been hit by many incisions.

"Ouch! Ow hell! What's going on?!" Arya tried to rebel from the pain all over her body. Arya felt confused when she could feel pain when she thought she was dead.

As Arya struggled further, she realized she could open her eyes and found herself lying down facing the ground.

"I'm not dead yet?" Arya could not believe this, she then tried to fix her position facing sideways but her whole body was painful and difficult to move.

When Arya managed to face the side she was shocked by what she saw. The pale face of a lifeless woman with a sword stuck in her back, now Arya could clearly see.

Not yet Arya thought further, some men with fierce appearance came towards him to make him immediately close his eyes.

"Come! It's a pity that the Chief told us to attack this village and kill a woman as beautiful as this..."

"Be quiet, don't complain. We must either burn this place down immediately and return to the base, or we will be punished by the Chairman."

One of them then pulled his sword from the body of the beautiful woman, but before leaving he looked at Arya and stabbed her body into the stomach.

"What are you doing?" One of them asked what the man had done while stabbing a seemingly lifeless boy.

"No, I think the daughter of this beautiful woman is still alive. I think I was wrong..."

Once the three people had left, Arya who had endured the pain when stabbed then opened her eyes and groaned in pain.

When he heard that the beautiful woman in front of him was his mother from the talk of the three men, Arya actually felt very confused.

Even with the condition of the body full of wounds Arya forced herself to rise and stand. With the naked eye Arya can witness the bloody scars that occurred in the village.

All villagers from small to old in the village were brutally murdered. Their houses were all burned to the point of creating a huge blaze that burned the entire village.

Arya then immediately tried to save herself so as not to burn alive in the blaze that soared high into the sky.

After making it out of the blaze, with her small legs Arya tried to stay away while enduring the pain all over her body.

But after staying away from the burning village Arya could feel her gaze turning dark again and her body feeling weak, making her want to fall.

An old man from a distance saw Arya immediately darting, and it took only one breath he was already at the location of Arya then caught the body of the boy before it would fall to the ground.

The old man then checked Arya's condition and found out that the child had been seriously injured enough to leave her dying.

"It looks like I'm too late, only this child is left... Poor little boy..."

The old man then carried the small body of Arya then disappeared from that location in just seconds without leaving a trace.

The unconscious Arya was taken by the man to a wooden house on the hill. Arriving there the old man then laid Arya's small body to be treated.

From the old man's palm suddenly appeared a golden radiance. That ray was none other than the Qi energy that would be used to heal all of Aryan wounds.

While in the process of treatment Arya can feel all over her body began to feel warm which makes her feel calm until involuntarily finally asleep.

The old man who was treating Arya found that the dantian of the child had suffered severe damage from a sword prick, causing him to shake his head while feeling pity.

"This child... Too bad his dantian broke, his future will be truly bleak..."

Dantian itself is a storage part of Qi energy that is usually owned by Swordsmen. Without the Dantian, one cannot become a Swordsman and will only become an ordinary citizen.

That's why the old man felt sorry for Arya because in the future the child will experience a difficult life.

Without power, a person can certainly be a loser and discriminated against in a world that is concerned with power.

After healing Arya's wounds and changing her clothes, the old man then left Arya to rest for a while before he would ask what happened in the village.

The old man then walked out of the room where Arya was and chose to drink a cup of tea while waiting for the child to wake up.

"Humans really like to kill each other just for a moment's power..." The old man muttered after seeing a small village burning.
