Arya raised her face watching everyone have a terrified expression and break out in a cold sweat. When looking at the ceiling Arya found dozens of souls floating screaming for help.
Realizing that she was the one who had frightened everyone, Arya immediately pulled back the clay souls into her body and removed the killing aura.
"I'm sorry I accidentally showed you something bad. Please just assume this never happened." Arya said kindly and smiled small as usual.
Seeing a smile from Arya does not make them feel calm, it is just the opposite like getting a threat if spreading the events that have just happened.
Nervously everyone nodded in understanding. Seeing souls come out of Arya's body and ask for help, made everyone shudder.
Especially when you see there are some souls who come from the nation of Devils. Making everyone who saw him wonder who Arya really is until he could have dozens of souls of various living things in his body.
The Devil Nation has long been invisible to the mainland of the Nusantara Continent. There are only pictures of the arcana on the stupa, and ancient records that depict a creature named Devil.
Seeing the appearance of the Devil directly even though it was only a soul, of course everyone in the room was curious how Arya could have the soul of the Devil, because the creature itself is famous for having greater power than Humans, Demons, and Demon Beasts.
"Oh, right... How is it now that some group of Mountain Bandits attacked the City some time ago?" Arya's voice suddenly broke the silence, making everyone aware from their thoughts of the man's identity.
Once again everyone looked at each other to make a short decision whether or not to tell Arya the truth.
"They were all made into ice sculptures by Princess Amanda before entering the main gate. Their bodies were now on the riverbed not far from the field." Arjuna issued a statement that made Arya look in wonder at Princess Amanda.
Arya then asks them all to continue the story. From their statement Arya found that Princess Amanda justifies all means to get the most out of the program she has made before.
Princess Amanda does not hesitate to get rid of people who do not agree with her, as long as Arya's blueprint can be realized and she wants perfection in every development.
To subjugate a society that always revolted at the beginning of his reign. Princess Amanda did not hesitate to give a little lesson that made people obey her, arguing all this for their good.
It is true what Princess Amanda did for the good of all the people of Madya City and in accordance with Arya's records. But because of his slightly wrong way, made everyone call him a Dictator.
"Dictator? Is that what you learned from me during our journey, Princess?" Arya looked at Princess Amanda who now had a complicated expression on her face.
Princess Amanda is now really nervous after Arya learned her way of leadership for the past three months. Of course he does not want to be blamed and wants to provide a defense for his actions.
"No, I can explain everything to you. It's not what you think." Princess Amanda had no panicked expression on her face, she looked calm despite being under pressure.
Princess Amanda then explained why she behaved like other monarchs to her own people.
First since the arrival of outsiders, the people of Madya City would be wary and give unfriendly eyes.
The beginning of the rebuilding of the City is not uncommon to be sabotaged to make some construction delayed.
This obviously makes the budget swell, not to mention plus some people secretly save development funds for themselves.
Many rats are corrupt even though the rebuilding of the City of Madya is useful for themselves. But then again, which living beings would not be greedy when they saw the great advantage right before their eyes.
Princess Amanda did all this secretly and none of the other higher-ups knew of her actions.
The secret move made by Princess Amanda directly made some higher-ups misunderstand about her. They themselves did not expect the beautiful woman to have done the task that they should have done alone.
Hearing the explanation from Princess Amanda Arya's suspicion about her instantly disappeared. He later acquitted the woman, despite killing dozens or even hundreds of people suspected of corruption.
"I think everything is clear now. I don't think there's anything wrong with the way Princess Amanda took my place over the last three months."
Arya quits her worries about Princess Amanda acting like a dictator. After this Arya thought she should thank the woman directly for lightening her load at the beginning.
Everyone nodded in understanding and apologized to Princess Amanda for misinterpreting the policies implemented by the woman.
Rajendra here feels most guilty to Princess Amanda. After all he was the one directly appointed to oversee the rebuilding of the City of Madya. But he did not know about the misappropriation of funds.
"I'm really sorry for not keeping an eye on the workers and being so prejudiced about Miss Amanda. How can I make amends for this?"
Rajendra blames himself for his incompetence in overseeing development projects. Now he was ready to bear the harshest penalty to make up for his mistake, considering the amount of funds lost would definitely not be of little value.
"It's good that you understand what your mistake is. To make up for everything, why don't you just kill yourself?" Princess Amanda smiles cynically seeing Rajendra bend her knees towards Arya.
Without a second thought Rajendra nodded in understanding. All the delays in development are his fault. There is nothing wrong with Princess Amanda saying, asking her to kill herself as redemption.
Rajendra pulled out his sword and aimed a stab at his stomach. But before the tip of the sword pierced through his skin, suddenly a pressure made his hand go limp and dropped his sword.
"Suicide is not the right answer to your mistakes. I think you better make up for it by working better, Mr. Rajendra." Arya gave a small smile as if she did not mind if most of her money had been misused.
Rajendra stared blankly at Arya, he did not understand what made the man who was 20 years younger than him could forgive him.
In this day and age it is ruled by a monarchy. Everyone who makes a big mistake will surely receive the right vengeance. For example, the punishment of the Corruptors would be skinned alive and some meat would be taken away like a sacrifice.
Suicide proposed by Princess Amanda is the lightest punishment considering Rajendra made a fatal mistake by making development funds disappear.
Rajendra who is still bent on the knee facing Arya suddenly prostrated. "This old man is very grateful for the generosity, General. In the future I promise not to make the same mistake."
After thanking her while crying, she was released from the sentence. Rajendra then sat back down and was immediately pacified by other officials.
"Aren't your words too exaggerated, Princess?" Arya glanced at Princess Amanda who looked relaxed after almost making someone end their own life.
Princess Amanda shrugged both of her shoulders not showing that she felt guilty. "What's wrong, I'm just kidding. Don't take it too seriously."
Hearing Princess Amanda's words everyone immediately cursed in their hearts. Everyone did not think that the beautiful woman would consider one's life just like her toys.
