Soul Eaters

A black silhouette was seen jumping through the roof of the Madya City residents' housing. The movement is very agile until it is not realized by everyone who is below.

Arya dressed in black clothes darted using Science to lighten the body towards the city wall. With ease Arya then sneaked out undetected by the soldiers who stood guard over the wall.

Of course Arya can sneak in easily. Under the rain and strong winds who wants to go out at night in the current situation. Even the soldiers stood guard at every post on the wall, and their view was limited by the rain.

Arya stopped her steps when she arrived at the former place of battle. There were still many corpses of Demon Beasts lying everywhere and spreading a rancid smell around them.

For the corpses of the soldiers it seems to have been brought by the other soldiers. Leaving only thousands of corpses of Demon Beasts that would be taken care of the next day.

"Sir, what are you doing in the rain like this?" From behind the darkness Gardapati came out revealing his body which was about the size of an adult elephant.

Arya raised her eyebrows to find the arrival of a Lion she had met before. The lion was none other than the Demon Animal King who controlled the Blood Forest area.

"You yourself why are here. Are you planning to infiltrate the City secretly?" Arya narrowed her eyes suspicious of Gardapati's movements coming out of the Forest at night.

Seeing Arya suspecting him quickly Gardapati shook her head in denial of the man's statement. "No, I didn't dare to do it. I just want to collect the Demon Animal Crystals. No other means, sir..."

Gardapati said in earnest. He was right to only want to collect the Crystals belonging to his men to improve his Cultivation foundation. Arya had previously banned him from entering the City of Madya for now, and of course as a pet he would obey.

For Gardapati who already knew the power of Arya in the past. Just thinking about it had already made the feathers all over his body shudder.

"Aren't you too cruel to use the death of your men to improve your own foundation?" Arya raised next to her eyebrows making Gardapati can only laugh awkwardly.

Seeing Gardapati's shameless attitude Arya shook her head. He then asked Gardapati to step aside first because there was something he wanted to do with the thousands of corpses of the Demon Beasts.

Gardapati nodded slowly and then moved away, though she looked reluctant for fear that Arya would eliminate the thousands of Demon Animal Crystals she had not had time to use.

After making sure there are no signs of life around him. Arya then drew out the Death Sword, which so detached from its sheath instantly gave off an extremely concentrated killing aura.

Thin black smoke spread around Arya's feet. Some of the spirits trapped inside the Death Sword began to show themselves asking Arya for her next sacrifice.

Of course, Arya will not be affected by whispers from spirits consisting of humans, Devils, demons, and Demon Beasts. He actually gave off a little pressure to make the spirits go back into the Death Sword.

"Soul Eaters..." Arya stuck the tip of the sword into the ground creating a small crack on the surface. A few moments later a strange phenomenon suddenly appeared.

From inside the corpses of the white smoke Demon Beasts came out towards the Death Sword and then channeled towards the Dragon Crystal that was in his chest as if sucked inside.

If you pay more attention to the white smoke coming out of the corpses of the Demonic Beasts is their souls. The souls screamed in pain as they were absorbed into Arya's Dragon Crystal.

Their souls wanted to rebel but the suction power of the Dragon Crystal was much stronger, making the effort of the thousands of poor Demon Beasts souls absorbed to recover Aryan's remaining life energy half.

Arya closed her eyes lifting her face skyward letting the rain directly hit her. For some reason at this moment Arya felt a comfortable feeling all over her body and enjoyed the thousands of souls of Demon Beasts replenishing her life energy.

In addition to his increased sense of sight. When a Demon Animal is 100,000 years old, they will begin to speak like a human.

"Not wrong anymore. That man is himself..." Gardapati felt his body tremble in fear seeing the souls of his men being eaten by Arya.

"Haha!" Arya suddenly let out a creepy laugh. Both of his eyes glowed red like the color of the Dragon Crystal that was on his chest.

Arya felt her whole body now very energetic. His killing intent peaked and became extremely thirsty for the blood of living beings.

Seeing some chains wrapped around her body, Arya clucked resentfully rebelliously wanting to break away. He currently only wanted to kill but the chain was blocking him.

"Fuck up! Unhand me!" Arya shouted out loudly trying to escape. But the more he rebelled, the chains wrapped around his body tightened and absorbed his spiritual energy.

The originally pitch-black chain slowly began to become smoldering red like iron, which was being heated to be forged into a sword.

Arya curled up in pain as the pointed part on the smoldering chain pierced through her skin, making herself truly feel an extremely painful agony.

The Dragon Crystal slowly began to lose its spiritual energy turning its red color into a clear return with a golden light point inside.

The chains wrapped around Arya's body slowly also disappeared releasing restraints on the man. Arya has now completely lost consciousness and is seen burns around the neck area, wrists, and ankles of both feet.

The rain soaked Arya's immobile body. Making him look like the dead body of a soldier who died on the battlefield with a seated position.

A lion the size of an adult elephant then approached Arya who was unconscious. Gardapati opened his mouth showing sharp teeth and long fangs.

Arya had now lost consciousness and was at her weakest. Killing that man right now was naturally easy for Gardapati to do.

But who would have thought that even in the past Arya had made a wound in her eyes. Gardapati did not eat the man and instead took him on his back, then ran into the forest.

Shortly after Gardapati left to take Arya. A few soldiers then arrived after hearing the voice of a man's scream earlier.

"Have we heard wrong? There's no one here." Said a soldier to his friend who made them shudder and decided to return to the guard post.
