Visiting the Black Flag Army Headquarters

After finishing their dinner. Arya and Princess Amanda decide to return. But before that they first pay and Princess Amanda of course who will cope with the bill both.

Seeing Princess Amanda pay the meal bill. Everyone's gaze was immediately turned towards Arya and assumed that the man only wanted to take advantage of their Mayor. Though what they do not know, all the money belonging to Arya is now held by Princess Amanda.

Once they finished paying the bill, the two of them then sauntered away from the restaurant to the Mayor's residence.

Arya's steps come to a halt when she sees Arjuna's figure coming out of a tavern selling liquor. Remember about the Black Flag Army headquarters which has finished its construction. Arya decided to ask Arjuna further.

"Go back first, there's something I need to talk to Arjuna about." Arya looked at Princess Amanda who was beside her.

Princess Amanda glanced at Arjuna who was still standing in front of the tavern, then turned her eyes towards Arya.

"All right, I'll go back alone. But remember don't come home late at night, there's still a pile of report documents you have to work on early in the morning." Princess Amanda sighed letting Arya to talk to Arjuna.

When Princess Amanda has sauntered back to the Mayor's residence. Arya then approached Arjuna who was daydreaming in front of a tavern.

"Thinking of something, Mr Arjuna?" Arya asked with a small smile that made Arjuna surprised and realized from his daydream.

Seeing the figure of the queen there, Arjuna immediately tidied up his slightly tangled appearance and got rid of the smell of liquor on his body. He then saluted Arya like a soldier.

Arya chuckled as she saw a former Colour Flag General giving her respect and frantically improving her condition upon seeing her arrival.

"Have not been so formal as that, Mr. Arjuna. It's no longer your working hours, anyway." Arya patted Arjuna on the shoulder asking him to be more relaxed.

Arjuna looked in wonder at Arya, then lowered his saluted hand. He did not argue at all and immediately complied with the request of the man who was his superior and his savior.

"Why are you here, General? Is there anything I can help you with?" Arjuna asked without the slightest loss of respect for the man who was much younger than him.

Arya's facial features become tangled while Arjuna still uses formal words to her. He actually did not like to hear it, especially from people who were 30 years older than him. But he also could not blame the man and only cursed him.

"Can we talk for a second? There are some things I want to make sure of now." Arya asked while sighing lightly.

Wrinkles appeared on Arjuna's face as soon as he heard Arya's words. He immediately understood if the man wanted to talk enough about it with him.

"Of course, General. Then let's go inside. The spirit and the dawn are also inside. We can chat over drinks if you want." Reply Arjuna while pointing towards the Hero and Dawn inside the shop from behind the glass window.

Arya took a quick look at Wira and Dawn who were still drinking in the store despite being drunk. He then shook his head refusing Arjuna's invitation to speak inside with them.

"I'm sorry but I have to reject it. Actually I want you to show me the headquarters that was just built. I want to see and check out some of the things that are there."

Hearing the explanation given by Arya, Arjuna immediately nodded in understanding and led them towards the Black Flag Army headquarters.

The distance from the tavern to the headquarters was not so far away. In less than 15 minutes they had both reached the Black Flag Army headquarters, located on the outskirts of the City.

The headquarters itself had several buildings that included storage sheds until barracks for the soldiers were resting. There is also a large field that is used for daily exercise.

Arya and Arjuna were immediately greeted by some soldiers who served at the checkpoint. Some of the soldiers who recognized Arjuna immediately let him inside.

As soon as the gate was opened Arya was immediately greeted by the view inside the headquarters. He could tell if the place was like a small City located inside a City, seeing the many facilities contained therein.

"I was very impressed and didn't expect this place to be so big." Arya praised the performance of the building workers, especially Rajendra as the supervisor of development.

On the other hand Arjuna was amazed by what Arya had said. He was confused as to why the man said as if he did not expect that the headquarters would be so vast. Though if you recall, Arya himself designed the place in such a way that it looks like a small City.

Arya is then taken by Arjuna to go around seeing some of the facilities at the headquarters. The two of them first visited the horse rearing grounds then headed for the army barracks.

Upon arriving in the parade, Arjuna was immediately greeted by several soldiers who were there. They only saluted Arjuna but not Arya, because they still did not recognize who the young man was.

"It seems that you are better suited to be a leader than I am, Mr. Arjuna..." Chirps Arya while giggling at the sight of how all the soldiers respect the figure of Arjuna very much.

Hearing Arya's words suddenly made Arjuna tense. He quickly shook his head and waved his hand.

"I dare not do it, General. You're so much better than anyone!" Arjuna became panicked trying to explain to Arya.

Arjuna felt he would be very presumptuous if he had to take the baton of Aryan leadership as the General of the Black Flag. He was already indebted to the young man a lot, and naturally did not want to go any further which could have made the relationship between the two of them crumble.

Hearing the nickname of one of their Commanders to a foreign youth. Some of the soldiers immediately pensively and unconsciously opened their mouths.

"I'm just kidding don't be so serious, Mr. Arjuna. But if you really want it, you can take this token."

Arya took out a black token made of Jade from inside the dimensional ring, then showed it to Arjuna who was in front of her.

See the black token made of Jade stone and there is a gold engraving that reads General. Arjuna immediately stepped back and waved his hand.

"No-no... I do not have the slightest intention for the token, General. Please don't misunderstand the actions of these soldiers."

Arjuna laughs nervously and blames some of the soldiers who give him respect but not with Arya. He actually blamed them and planned to punish her after this, for already putting her in an awkward situation with Arya.

On the other hand all the soldiers inside the barracks were shocked to see the token the Black Flag General owned by the young man. They did not expect that the General who took over the leadership of the Madya City was very young.

Previously they thought that Princess Amanda was the Black Flag General and became the leader of the Madya City. But after seeing this reality, they could only gape.

On the other hand Arya who realizes the ignorance of all soldiers even the people of Madya City that he is their leader. Arya could only sigh violently and shake her head.

Just for missing the first 3 months leading the City of Madya. Arya's position as leader is unknown to everyone. This made him feel quite sad considering all the help he gave, as if in the name of someone else.

"All right, I understand. It seems like there needs to be news about me that needs to be spread, so that everyone doesn't continue to misunderstand." Arya sighed in despair while saving back her tokens.

Hearing the words of the young man, Arjuna immediately nodded and turned to look at some soldiers who were in the barracks.

"You heard it, didn't you? Now start spreading this information, or do you all prefer to stand facing the flag overnight?"

The 20 soldiers inside the barracks immediately agreed to Arjuna's orders. They secretly cursed in their hearts because spreading information was the same as facing the flagpole all night.

After leaving one of the army barracks. Arya and Arjuna then sauntered away to the armory to check all the equipment available there.

Once in the weapons storage. Arya was surprised to see that there were very few military equipment, even the number could not fill the warehouse itself.

Arya grabbed a sword there and tested it. Just by curling a little, the sword instead of being bent was instantly broken like a wooden stick.

"What does this mean? Why are the weapons here so poor in quality? Didn't I have enough money?" Arya shook her head while inspecting some other weapons.

Starting from swords, knives, spears, bows, axes, to hammer-shaped weapons. All have poor quality. Even the armor that was an important part to protect the body from attack, with just one knife prick was instantly torn apart.

"Yes, this is the same as I said in the previous meeting. It's very difficult to ask the woman for military supplies."

Arjuna had a complicated expression on his face. Seeing that the situation was very appropriate, he decided to complain about Princess Amanda's actions which were very difficult when asked for funds.

"Yesterday didn't I ask Princess Amanda to give it to you? And now how? Did you get everything ready?" Arya looked at Arjuna while carrying a broken sword in her hand.

Arjuna nodded slowly and explained that after Arya asked the funds directly to Princess Amanda. The woman immediately gave large enough funds to him for the procurement of military equipment.

For the procurement of his own military equipment, Arjuna explained to Arya that he had asked Deswara for help who was now on his way to the Capital.

Arya nodded after hearing the explanation from Arjuna. He said the purchase of equipment for the troops was very necessary. He had already witnessed for himself how bad the weaponry used by the soldiers when facing the previous Demon Beasts attack was.

"Right as well I almost forgot to ask this before. If you may know who your new subordinates are coming, General?" Arjuna suddenly remembered Arya's words before he walked out of the young man's study this afternoon after the meeting.

Suddenly Arya smiled faintly making Arjuna who saw him somehow there will be an unpleasant incident tomorrow morning.

"Tomorrow in the morning you'll see it firsthand, and don't stop them from coming in. Take it easy, they won't attack like before."

After answering Arjuna's question. Arya waved and left the man, then went towards the Mayor's residence after being satisfied to see the construction of the Black Flag Army headquarters.

On the other hand after Arya left, Arjuna had a big question mark on his head. He felt puzzled by what the man said before leaving the headquarters.

"Not attacking again like before? Are they enemies who once attacked the City and became subordinates of Arya?"

Arjuna continued to make hypotheses regarding the words spoken by Arya earlier. If the new subordinates had been enemies before then who they were, Arjuna thought.

Now Arjuna only guessed who Arya's new subordinates would come to Madya City. Remembering the man only reappeared a few days ago after disappearing for 3 months. Naturally there was only one attack in Madya City when the man reappeared.

Arjuna opened his eyes wide. His current conjecture led to the Demon Beasts attacking the City not too long ago. "Did he really make some of those Demon Beasts submit to him?"

Meanwhile, after returning to the Mayor's residence. Arya went straight to a room that had been reserved for her. He did not see Princess Amanda at all when he returned, and assumed that the woman had slept in another room.

Once inside the dark room and there is only moonlight as illumination from the window. Arya then dropped her body on the bed.

"It looks like I've smelled this scent before..." Arya felt astonished when she smelled the same aroma as someone's.

When Arya looked to the side and opened her eyes. He was immediately surprised to see that there was already Princess Amanda smiling at him.

Aryan's breathing stopped for a while. She was completely shocked and almost mistook Princess Amanda for a ghostly apparition as it could suddenly be next to her.

"What are you doing here?!" Arya jumps away from the bed and keeps the distance between herself and Princess Amanda.

Princess Amanda got up and sat on the bed. "Something's wrong about this? I was here before you came anyway."

"Sorry to bother you. I think I've got the wrong room. Then excuse me..." Arya breezed away towards the exit.

Arya had not been out of the room, suddenly Princess Amanda stopped her. "Wait... Can you come with me tonight? I was scared when I heard the thunder."

Arya stops her skeleton and finds Princess Amanda staring at her with her eyes clear. He then turned his gaze towards the window to see if it started raining, and there was a rumbling sound.

"All right but for tonight. I don't want anyone to misunderstand." Arya said immediately embraced by Princess Amanda who looks very happy.

But Princess Amanda's pleasure decreased slightly when she saw Arya sitting on a chair instead of sleeping with her on the bed.

Realize what Princess Amanda is thinking. Arya simply gave a flat look and shook her head, which made the woman finally give up.
