Nanjing City was the Royal City of Shu, or commonly the inhabitants of the city called it the Royal Capital of Shu. It was here in Nanjing City that the King and his entire family lived, including Princess Liu Yao who had not seen her own father for many years, counting since the death of the Empress who was the Mother of Princess Liu Yao and her brother who was a Crown Prince.

The relationship between Princess Liu Yao and her Father was strained even further, after a few years ago King Liu Feng who was the Father of Princess Liu Yao, inaugurated his daughter's engagement to the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Chu.

Princess Liu Yao who disagreed with the engagement between herself and the Crown Prince, she increasingly closed the door of her palace to her Father. In fact he had not attended many times the great feast held by his father, in the Royal palace.

The second last meeting took place four years ago during the appointment ceremony of the Crown Prince of Shu Kingdom, who was the son of Grand Consort of Shu Kingdom. Although they met and confronted each other at the time, Princess Liu Yao did not consider her father's whereabouts.
