Win Chen had confirmed the territory that was once part of the Western Empire, it had now completely fallen into the hands of the Shu Empire. They did not make a mess, but firmly they rejected the existence of easterners in the western region because in history there has never been an eastern person greater than a westerner.

Meanwhile in the palace of the Shu Empire, Empress Liu Yao was receiving guests from the Li Kingdom, the Kingdom at the eastern end of what was once the Qin Kingdom. The fall of the Qin kingdom to the Li family, marked the collapse of the Qin Kingdom dynasty, and the beginning of the founding of a new dynasty, the Li Kingdom dynasty led by a Queen and a minor Prince.

The guests who came to visit from the Li Kingdom were the Queen of the Li Kingdom, Li Wei, and the little Prince of Li Kingdom, Li Hochu. The arrival of Queen Li Wei is to apologize and eliminate the old grudges that once existed.

“I have made many mistakes, even I have made the father of my little son suffer in prison. Her Highness the Empress, Li Wei's servant sincerely apologized for all the wrongs that I once committed.” Li Wei kowtowed with a forehead touching the floor in front of Empress Liu Yao.

There was no sign of lying, Queen Li Wei sincerely apologized to Empress Liu Yao.

Empress Liu Yao smiled hearing that. “I myself have accepted your apology, but you should know at whom your mistake was made!”

Queen Li Wei nodded her head in understanding.

“My mistake with His Majesty Emperor Qin Chen is huge. I don't have any faith in whether he would forgive my mistakes!”

From the very beginning what happened to Qin Chen to this day was his fault. If only he was not greedy with power and was not too sure Qin Chen remained loyal to him even though he had succeeded in overthrowing Qin Duan Ren's power.

“If you haven't tried yet, how can you know the result.” Empress Liu Yao gave a boost of encouragement to Queen Li Wei.

Queen Li Wei was still hesitant to apologize to Qin Chen after recalling all her past mistakes, but what Empress Liu Yao said was true. If he did not try, how could he know about accepting or not his apology to Qin Chen.

However, even though he decided to apologize to the man, he also still could not meet him because currently Qin Chen was still in the western region, fighting with the Western Empire, as well, and no one knew when Qin Chen returned to the Shu Empire.

New also thought about when Qin Chen returned to the Shu Empire, one of the soldiers who came from the borders of the eastern region and the western region entered into the Imperial hall where Empress Liu Yao welcomed the arrival of Empress Li Wei. The soldier looked extremely exhausted, but his facial expression was filled with happiness.

The soldier immediately delivered news from the western region, and of course what was delivered was the news of Qin Chen's victory and the troops he led. The soldier also broke the news that in two weeks Qin Chen would return to the Shu Empire. In essence, his arrival was to deliver the good news.

Empress Liu Yao was certainly pleased to hear the good news from her loved ones, and she immediately told the soldiers to make an official announcement about the great victory of the Shu Empire over the Western Empire. With this victory, in the future, no one will say that the east is not comparable to the west.

“Congratulations on his victory.” Empress Li Wei congratulated Empress Liu Yao and she was also pleased with the achievements of the Shu Empire.

“This is an east region achievement, including the Li Kingdom which is at the eastern end of the region.” Empress Liu Yao replied to the words of Queen Li Wei.

Queen Li Wei smiled wryly hearing that because otherwise being too wary of her, perhaps the Shu Empire was much faster at winning battles.

“In two weeks His Majesty the Emperor is likely to return. Don't you want to wait until you come back to apologize directly to her?” Empress Liu Yao asked Queen Li Wei.

“Hamba actually wanted to wait for the return of His Majesty the Emperor, but I could not possibly leave the Li Kingdom without a leader for a long time, whereas my current servant's husband is still in a state of pain.” Queen Li Wei had re-recognized Qin Duan Ren as her husband, and promised to give back the Li Kingdom to her once she recovered from illness.

Empress Liu Yao understood the current state of Empress Li Wei. His arrival this time was also because he kept thinking about his mistake on him, and his feelings had not calmed down before apologizing directly to him. “King Qin Duan Ren is the father of my husband, and I have not met him since officially becoming his son's wife. After Qin Duan Ren gave him an apology. He decided to go to the Shu Empire to see Empress Liu Yao to apologize for all his wrongdoings. However, his intention of coming just to apologize, he was actually made very happy with what Empress Liu Yao had given him.

“Hamba feels very lucky to have such an amazing daughter-in-law as Empress.” Queen Li Wei sincerely praised Empress Liu Yao.

Empress Liu Yao smiled hearing that. “I also feel very lucky to have such a beautiful mother.”

Queen Li Wei was indeed beautiful, but the beauty that Empress Liu Yao possessed was also no less compared to her. Both of them were beautiful women, and they were now sharing happiness with each other.
