The night came shortly after Qin Chen's arrival at the Qiao Kingdom's defensive fortifications that bordered directly with the Western Empire. Qin Chen who was currently standing on the highest peak in the Qiao Kingdom fortress, he was able to see the flames illuminating the Western Empire's warrior camp.

With over a million soldiers, dozens of cannons, as well as dozens of fireball throwers, Emperor Bernard was confident of defeating the Qiao Kingdom, even though the Qiao Empire was getting help from the Shu Empire. The power he exerted was all the best power the Western Empire had. The strength of Qiao Kingdom and its reinforcements, was not something frightening to him.

Jumping down from the highest point in the Qiao Kingdom fortress, Qin Chen walked over to where Qiao Bao and Jin Han were arranging their soldiers. Taking the bow and arrow, Qin Chen intended to start the attack because time had already shown right at midnight.
