THE LAST HOBBIT'S

THE LAST HOBBIT'S
1 - The inhabitants of Middle World

...'He hides at the Base of Red Mountain and one day meets a wounded Elf'...

...*****...

The Middle World is inhabited by different races.

The Elf race, the pointed-eared creature and the only one who mastered magic. This race has great intelligence and archery experts. They are the rulers of the Middle World.

Under the rule of the Elf race, there lived another race consisting of Dwarves, Orcs, Hobbits, and Humans. They were at odds with each other, but were subservient to the Elves.

The races that were not bound to the power of the Elves were the Wolves. They are wolves that live in groups, difficult to communicate with, wild, and can attack anyone.

Other than the horrors of the wolf race, no more races dared to oppose the Elves. The Middle World was at that time peaceful until a earth-shaking growl sounded.

The sky is covered with red clouds. Lightning flashes painted the sky and it was a sign of the birth of the Dragon. At the same time, this was the beginning of the fear of the races inhabiting Middle-earth.

The Elves knew that the birth of the Dragon was dangerous to his power. They sent out other races and worked together to exterminate the Dragon.

The first war began.

As the ruler, the Elf race was at the forefront. While the Dwarves who only knew how to mine attempted to set up a trap to fight the Dragon, they were aided by the Hobbit race.

Orcs commit treason by not going to war. On the other hand, the weakest human race is very underestimated and only becomes a sacrifice for the Dragon's food.

Only the Elf race was able to put up a fight with their magic and skill in using weapons. But there's not much to do.

Dragons that were their opponents were born with an extraordinarily powerful pure magic energy.

In a time when war did not find the way of victory, the human race used all means to be able to reverse the situation including making a pact with Satan.

Legend has it that the covenant has made humans also capable of using magic just like the Elf race did.

Not only humans, the treaty also allowed every other race to use magic. All this is done because humans do not want to be the target of hostility when they have just mastered magic, including from the Elves.

The use of this magic made the races become aligned, the Elves threatened to lose their power from the Middle World. But at the thought of that, the Dragon started to go crazy.

The casualties, the races put their magic together to defeat the Dragon but this was still not enough. Until someone from the Hobbits came with a sword in his hand and did battle.

That one little favor changed the groove, even bringing victory to the races. The dragon that had the strongest magic was even submissive and subjugated under that sword.

The defeat of the Dragon does not mean that the Middle World is at peace. Because of that great sword, greed began to show for every race and plans after scheming began to run.

A bigger, more terrible war is now taking place and the impact of it all is racial division. The sword that was being fought disappeared from civilization. Some say the weapon was destroyed because it suffered damage when used to fight against dragons and had to return against many races.

Some say the sword is possessed by a demon, sucking the life force of anyone who holds it until no one survives, then disappears. And after 50 years, no one dared to open this dark history.

Middle World, 100th Year, Red Mountain.

"10.000? 15.000?"

A man with a body as high as 130 cm down the mangrove forest road to find food. His beads of eyes scanned the surroundings, sometimes seeing sunlight from the crevices of the leaves.

The man's stomach was rumbling again, he felt a twisting in his stomach. These past two days he hasn't been out of the house due to the rain and because he keeps hiding-now he's very hungry.

His house in the hole of the Dracovudu tree produced nothing but the smell of rotten meat. There was nothing to chew on and even he was also running out of firewood for room warmers.

This is a mangrove forest full of muddy and deep soil. Arslan Galie has been fishing in this forest for almost four hours and has yet to find anything. Badly, the scorching sun seemed to torture him by making the water in the mangrove forest feel hot.

Very lucky if Arslan Galie can find a fish, but if not-then he is forced to eat a rainbow beetle caterpillar again. Caterpillars that taste bitter and taste the most unpleasant throughout history.

His clothes were dirty everywhere, he even had to be careful when stepping. Due to the rain, the roots of the surrounding trees became slippery, not to mention that it was further aggravated by this muddy soil. He had to be careful carrying his small body if he did not want to fall trapped into the thicker muddy ground.

!!

Arslan Galie shouted, just now he warned himself and his legs had slipped. He fell right in the middle of the muddy ground and badly, it sucked.

"Ga-Wine!" Arslan Galie raised both hands and tried to calm down. In this situation, many moves will be quickly sucked into the mud.

Arslan Galie could not ask for help knowing that in this place, there was no one else but her. It's bad that he yells for help, that there might be wild animals coming.

"Solventus!"

Arslan Galie's loud cry was a broken magic spell. Both of his legs seemed to be pushed out of the mud so strongly that they made him bounce very high.

The base of Mount Merah is overgrown with large Dracovudu trees with sturdy branches. Arslan Galie was lucky to have bounced up and just hit the branches and leaves of the tree.

In the sight of those few seconds, the sunlight instantly dazzled his gaze and the scenery below was beautiful if only he had time to notice it. But unfortunately, Arslan Galie always closes her eyes when bouncing up with her magic spell and resigned when falling.

Solventus examus, this magic is more to attract users vertically to the sky at high speed. It was like a fish being pulled with a fishing hook, strong, pressing and could have hit anything in its path.

This magic lasted for 15 seconds, so it could be imagined as fast as what Arslan Galie lifted up and even thrown up the Dracovudu tree whose average height was 20 meters.

When the power of the spoken magic spell had already disappeared, the fall of Arslan's body had been in the normal mode of falling people. This time his eyes were already open and he was trying to reduce the injuries as much as possible.

The dracovudu tree although it gives off a pungent odor and its branches are very strong, but the leaves are soft. It was easy enough for Arslan's landing that the man wouldn't feel much pain.

Besides of. Its small and light body brings good luck. Moreover, he himself was smart enough to utilize that short time into landing more of his Dracovudu leaves.

When Arslan's body landed, it was like hitting a cotton mattress. Hard, but not too painful.

Arslan Galie stared at the sky above him. He muttered - it was still as he had ever witnessed. Now 50 years have passed and the wound in his heart has not healed.

"10,000? 15,000 or 18,000?"

He always counted the days, but could not find the right answer. It's been 50 years and its own age is more than that. The spirit of his youth had long since disappeared, melted and melted away in time.

Arslan Galie took a deep breath and was about to exhale when a light jet flashed from the sky and fell among the leaves of the Dracovudu tree. The sound of explosions was then heard.

Arslan Galie was surprised. The man even held his breath before hesitantly starting to approach. He was looking for a good foothold among the leaves of the Dracovudu tree, very carefully taking every step.

Only after doubts about his footing came did he decide to step down and continue on to the place where the explosion had originated.

"..............."

Arslan Galie heard a groaning sound and sped up her pace. He bowed when he had to pass through the root of the Dracovudu tree and gasped when he saw another figure besides himself in this place.

There was a girl who looked about 16 years old with white skin and long red hair. The oval-faced girl leaned against the tree trunk and was like she was grimacing.

Arslan Galie froze in place. From the looks she saw, the young and beautiful girl had pointed ears that indicated about her race. He was clearly an Elf.

"Bm ... How can it be here?" Arslan Galie held her breath. It had been a long time since he had seen creatures from other races.

The young elf himself seemed oblivious to the presence of others. He focused on healing magic even though his abilities were still too ordinary.

"WHO'S THERE?!" The elf exclaimed when he heard a voice. He was very surprised and immediately pulled his bow.

"It's better to get out now!" The elf reopened his voice.

Arslan Galie is still in hiding. The rumbling from his stomach had already made the Elf aware. He was forced to come out of hiding despite his fear.

!!

The red-haired elf with the pointed nose was named Sofia Bellwings. He was stunned to see someone coming out from behind the root of the Dracovudu tree. A person who was never in his shadow.

Without loosening her bow, Sofia Bellwings stared intently at the figure before her and voiced coldly, "Say your name and Race?"

Arslan Galie flinched, he raised both his hands. "My name's Arslan. I ... Just a regular woodcutter."

Sofia Bellwings squinted, her tone remained cold. He asked the stranger to come closer and blinked as he watched the Arslan well.

"Are you from the Human Race?" Sofia Bellwings muttered softly, somewhat confusedly guessing the race of the man before her.

The figure he saw looked like a human, but had a shorter body size with a face like an adult man. If called the Dwarf race, this figure is clearly higher and certainly not one of the Orcs because Arslan does not look ugly or ferocious.

"Say the origin of your race..!" Sofia Bellwings could not take the risk because there was a possibility that this figure was related to the race that was chasing her.

"My name is Arslan, I'm ... Of the Garielnains race."

".... Garielnains?" Sofia blinked, confused by the kind of race the young man before her mentioned.

Realizing the confusion of the Elves he saw made Arslan again say, "That's the kind of race that exists in this place. You're... Probably won't know because we live underground."

"Only the Dwarves had an underground civilization. Others were Goblins or those from the Giant Race. You're this... Not like them,"

Arslan Galie gulps. Elves were an intelligent race, so naturally the subject in front of him would be suspicious. But still, the girl he saw was still very young. He might be able to trick this guy.

Arslan scratched his non-itchy head. He said, "I'm the one who should be confused. In this place... I've never seen a creature like you. What race are you from?"

"Huh?" Sofia jerks. He was flabbergasted when he heard the question that had been first addressed to him.

How could there be a creature in Middle-earth who did not know about its people? Even those hiding underground would instantly recognize him as an Elf with just a single look. No need to pay attention to her pointed ears, the creatures would be able to recognize her with the beauty she had.

"What are you... Stay in the sky?" Arslan asked again. Her innocent-looking manner made Sofia not know what to react to.

"Hmph, you stupid idiot." Sofia muttered, she looked at the subject in front of her and then said. "Listen, I'm Sofia Bellwings. Princess of Elmora Kingdom and you must bow under my feet."

"..............." Arslan's expression did not seem surprised at all. To be honest he could already guess that this subject would speak in a haughty tone. Of course, the average Elf race had a tendency to be arrogant.

Sofia herself seemed surprised, "Why is the response like that?! Does he not even know the majesty of my kingdom? What way do I introduce myself less shaking?! Ouch..."

"Looks like you're hurt" Arslan Galie rubbed her nose with her index finger, "I won't bother you anymore. You can get out of here after treating your wounds,"

"Wait!" Sofia was really annoyed with the dwarf creature whose height did not even need to be talked about anymore. Her white cheeks seemed to be flushed red as she began to open her voice.

"Why don't you ask about Elmora Kingdom? Don't you want to know where I'm from?!"

"............. You've said it," Arslan Galie scratched her cheek and said, "You are an Elf and are from the Elmora Kingdom. What else do I need to know? I have to find food. Just be careful on the road and don't get lost,"

"You! Hey..!"

Sofia Bellwings was completely shocked by the nature of the short creature. How could he be ignored? Hasn't there ever been a creature that could take his eyes off her?! Even whoever it was if knew how to communicate, it would instantly bow his head as he mentioned his name as well as his kingdom.

"No way..." Sofia Bellwings was just about to curse when the pain on her back and legs returned. He saw the bruise on his ankle and remembered how high he had fallen.

"Holy benedicta, festo gardien, vocatiom mon adimple et sana!"

Sofia Bellwings is a magic user. The magic spell that he cast dearly could only slightly reduce the pain in his wound. He knew that clearly because he was 16 years old and in fact he was an Elf who was not yet proficient in the use of magic spells.

Sofia's facial expression changed, her nose started to sniff at something and it was as if she was starting to get distracted by the smell that was around her. In an instant, Sofia began to shut her mouth as if holding back from vomiting.

"Geez, what is this place?! The smell.. Uh! Gosh.." Sofia coughed, but the pain on her back came back and made her grimace.

"I've learned magic. It's the only healing spell I know, but why is the pain still there? Ouch.. I'll die if I stay in this place. Where's the guy from?"

Sofia tried to find the existence of the short-bodied man, but there was only a grove of dracovudu trees with a pungent smell around it.

Arslan Galie himself is in a pretty far place. He is seen piercing the body of a rainbow beetle caterpillar with the root of the dracovudu tree he took.

Arslan could not find the fish and his stomach had already rumbled several times. The only animal he could find was a creature as big as a fist that was green and wriggling.

While collecting rainbow beetle caterpillars, Arslan Galie recalls the Elves he had seen before. For a long time he had not heard of the Elmora Kingdom, yet there was nothing worth remembering about the past.

Arslan stopped his work when he heard a rustling sound. He turned around and saw the young Elf girl walking over.

"What are you doing?" Sofia open the sound.

"You better stay there, this place stinks."

"I also know that." Sofia's expression looked pale as she said, "This place really stinks. Very disgusting,"

"Why don't you leave yet?"

"Don't you see how I'm doing?" Sofia grimaces. "I'm hurt know..!"

Arslan Galie raised next door, "Can't you do healing magic?"

Sofia was surprised, but there was no way she could be honest by saying her weakness. He coughed and said, "I am thirsty and hungry now. I can't use magic in a power-deprived condition. What race were you from..?"

"Garielnains,"

"Ah, right. That's. So take me to your place. It's your duty to help me, considering you found me when I was hurt." Sofia crossed hands, her tone sounded arrogant and made Arslan Galie stunned.

"................"

"Why are you quiet? Take me to your place. Don't see how I'm doing right now, huh?"

Arslan Galie flashing. He scratched his head and watched the subject in front of him intently. He exhaled and shook his breath slowly.
