The Journey and Destiny of Love

The Journey and Destiny of Love
Chapter 39 - Meeting a Rival

Mario had parked his car in the restaurant yard, a little awkward for him if he had to ask directly to the receptionist or the human resources section. He still remembers if Anindita had moved to an office that he did not know the address. The man hopes to get Anindita's workplace information from the employees here.

“Mbak, want to order warm lemon tea and butter-grilled ribs,” said Mario, while choosing a seat that is in the starting place so that some servants will pacing back and forth through it.

“This is the order, there is more?” a waitress with a fluffy smile asked him. Mario shook his head after saying thank you. Not yet how far the waitress had stepped, she called him back.

“Hmmm, Mba sorry, anyone would like me to ask.” Mario stood up and took the wallet out of his pocket, he seemed to pull out something.

“Iya Mas, what?” Waitress with sparkling eyes approached Mario, his oriental good looks and similar to the Korean opa-opa made the waitresses had stolen a glance at him.

“Mba knows this girl,” Mario thrust a photo. Waitress seemed to frown and remember something.

“Oh, know Mas, this is Anin, my friend used to be Mas, Only now it's not working here.” He said flatly, his countenance instantly changed when he learned that the young man was looking for a girl he knew.

“Oh, Mbak knows where he works now?” mario said expectantly. Waitress was shaking. The look on the handsome man's face turned gloomy and thanked the waitress. But the waitress did not go away, so Mario looked at her in surprise.

“Mas, but already a few times Anin has visited here to eat but sorry Mas he came with a guy, that guy is handsome too, same look like Mas that, Mas,” he said without realizing that the person he was talking to had changed his mood.

There was something that seemed to punch his heart. It is so painful to hear someone who used to always lean on her with others. But Mario soon learns to master himself. He took out a business card and gave it to the servant.

“Please, if there is Anin here, contact me,” he said while tucking two pieces of money a hundred thousand behind his business card.

“Wah, thanks mas, I will definitely announce, oh yes my name is Sinta Mas,” said waitress while taking a business card and money that Mario offered.

“Oh ok, thanks yes Sinta,” The man smiled as he sat back down and continued eating.

After he finished eating, Mario rushed to the cashier, the girl he had given a business card to kindly invite him. Mario just raced Sinta's greeting with a nod. After the payment was completed he walked towards the translucent exit directly to the parking lot. That afternoon restaurant visitors were quite quiet, probably due to the influence of the weekend as well. Suddenly someone called out to him from behind.

“Mas Mario!” it was seen that Sinta was half running after her, while from the front a tall young man in casual clothes suddenly turned his head and looked at the man closely.

“What's up?” Mario turned his head, looking at the girl slightly panting.

“This misses Mas,” the girl thrust something that was immediately grabbed quickly by Mario's hand.

“Jeez, good thing you found out, thank you,” said the man while inserting a sheet of paper that is none other than Anindita's photo.

“Iya Mas, equally,” said Sinta while smiling herself, still the girl admired Mario's good looks even though she knew there was another girl who had filled her heart.

Sinta was still stunned looking at Mario's back who was walking away, while his mind floated somewhere. Suddenly his shoulder was patted by someone who made him aghast.

“Anu, it's Mas, he's Mario,” he said nervously, the girl was intrigued not because she knew that Faisal owned the restaurant, because only the ranks of the higher-ups knew about it. Sinta is surprised because she recognizes that the man who is now interrogating her often eats there with Anindita, the girl sought by Mario.

“Who is your girlfriend?” faisal said, looking again.

“Not, Mas, he found my friend who used to work here, who often comes with his Mas,” said Sinta as if hypnotized and said everything.

There was something that suddenly made Faisal uncomfortable. Since the first look, he had felt familiar with the man's face, because he had had several times caught Anindita chatting with him when he returned to college.

“Oh ok, thanks for the information,” Faisal passed leaving the waitress still stunned. However, Sinta has responsibility for the two hundred thousand money that has now been folded neatly in his pocket, but he doubts if he decides to call Mario back and meet Faisal there will be no quarrel between them. After staying for about ten minutes, he finally decided to complete his responsibilities. The girl runs towards the exit connected to the parking lot to chase after Mario.

With a gasp of breath he finally arrived at the parking lot, his eyes looking for the figure of the man among the cars lined up. But the time used for him to think too long, it seemed like the man he was looking for was gone. Sinta turned around to leave the parking lot to continue her work.

Mario had just come out of the toilet and was casually walking towards his car when the tall, well-built figure was walking out towards the parking lot. His eyes immediately stared intently and did not release the slightest movement of people who still did not realize that they were being noticed. Faisal sped his way to make sure that the face was indeed the man he had seen back then. His car was parked not far from Mario's car.

Now their distance is getting closer. Mario had already opened his car door when suddenly his shoulder was patted from behind.

“Mas, you XXX campus alumni son huh?” faisal's arm was still attached to Mario's shoulder.

“Yes, who is it? We're one generation?” Mario frowned as he stared fixedly at the face of the man he had never seen before.

“Not, I only visited there a few times, my cousin lecturer there, not you are studying abroad?” Faisal investigates, a strong urge forces him to be on alert and find out anything that would threaten his relationship.

“Mas know too, I'm as famous as that huh?” a sarcastic smile from Mario who was annoyed by the man's question.

“I have a need Mas, so go home first, I want to pick up someone, maybe Mas also know who my partner in college first, I want to pick up someone,” said Mario smiled cynically while gently brushed off Faisal's arm that was still on his shoulder without permission.

Then without further ado, the man drove his car leaving Faisal still standing to confirm what he had heard. If true what Mario said, it means the girl he was looking for was Anindita his future wife. His teeth were cracking, Fisal immediately drove his car quickly.

“I must marry her immediately,” muttered to herself in heart while driving at an unusual speed. Her feelings are haunted by misgivings, however Mario is Anindita's first love, so it is still possible if the feeling is still left in her heart.
