The Journey and Destiny of Love

The Journey and Destiny of Love
Chapter 28 - An Unexpected Visit

Anindita stepped into the house again after Faisal's car was not seen. The man came home because his phone had rung dozens of times, Ferdi could not handle all the work himself that day. But he had just closed the front door and stepped into his room, a horn sounded in front of his house that made him turn over and peek out of the curtain slit.

“Assalamu’alaikum,” handsome man dimpled already standing in front of the door.

“Wa’alaikumsalam,” Anindita replied greetings while opening the door.

“Czech.”

“You're better?” the man immediately hunted him with a question.

“Emang me why Sir?” the girl's frown did not understand the direction of the conversation.

“Lho, said Rinda you are sick today so do not enter,” Hadi back shriveled and squinted his eyes full of suspicion.

“Oh that was, hmmm yes,” the answer is confused.

“Mmm enter sir, come,” Anindita let the man in.

Without much ado the gentleman entered, then sat berserk in the middle room that had been tidied up again by the owner. Hadi looked around the middle room, there was only a tv table and minimalist decorative cabinets. Indeed the house is relatively small, Anindita only able to install simple housing with an area of seventy-two meters. The house only has two bedrooms, one living room, kitchen and the rest of the land to build a terrace.

“Pak, please drink,” Anindita gives a cup of hot coffee to Hadi.

“Tau I like coffee,” said the man as he glanced at Anindita.

“I will often see Mr. coffee if in the room, bored if I do not know sir,” Anindita chuckles.

“Oh yes, you really do not why - why right?” ask again.

“Engga sir, I am just a little tired of finishing late,” said Anindita.

“Thank God then, means this afternoon if I ask you for help you can right?” fishing rod Hadi with a sweet smile that makes dimples obvious.

“Can Sir, would you like to ask what?” Anindita answered as if the men would be asked for help by her boss, flat without suspicion.

“Please accompany me to eat at the place yesterday, I am addicted to the satellite, like it will often stop by there,” said Hadi while sipping coffee that puffed smoke began to fade.

“Hmmm, well Sir,” Anindita finally agreed to Hadi's invitation after thinking for a moment, she weighed whether Faisal would come visit him again or not, but it seems impossible that the man came again because it was only a while ago to leave his house.

“Mba, pesen satenya two servings, sambalnya sauce only but use lime, orange let it smell yes, drink young coconut ice,” Hadi told the waiter at the lesehan stall, after the waiter put a small plate of cut fruit as a welcome menu.

“Anin what message?” Hadi glanced at the girl sitting next to him, they chose a saung lesehan with a garden view, so they sat parallel so they could see the flickering lights of the park before night.

“I pesen sateenya one serving only Mba but use lontong one, drink lemon tea warm yes Mba,” said Anindita. The servant nodded while smoothing their order on the paper he was holding.

“There's another Mba, Mas,” the waiter asked as he stared at them alternately.

“I want to use lontong also Mba, two,” Hadi said while showing his finger to form a V shape.

“Ga wrong Sir?” Anindita turned her back to hear the order of super food jumbo boss, only this time she could see the other side of a Hadi Adi Praja who always look perfect and cool. Hadi only answered him with a slight ruckus while returning his hand to focus on the phone he held.

“Anin, want something I talk about with you,” after almost five minutes of silence, Hadi changed his sitting position to face Anindita.

“What Sir?” Anindita turned her head at a glance, she continued to eat pieces of fruit that were available at each table when visitors came.

“I once said, if outside do not need to call Father, our age is not much different Anin, only a few years adrift,” said Hadi.

“Hmmm,” Anindita just nodded with a glance showing her brief smile.

“Anin, but whatever I will say later, I want you to answer honestly,” said Hadi.

“Emang want to talk about what the hell is serious gini sir, so I don't feel good about me,” Anindita began to feel something different from the direction of the conversation of his superiors.

“Yes already if you are comfortable calling Father,” the man looks a little disappointed to hear a sentence that was thrown spontaneously from the girl who now stands a few dozen inches from before him.

“I want you to give me the opportunity to get to know you further, not just as a boss and subordinate, not just as a coworker in the office, I want more than that,” he said paused, Hadi gathered courage when Anindita started to turn her head and looked at him seriously.

“I want you to give me a chance to get to know you as a woman, honestly I found something different from inside you that made me want to get to know you more closely, and hopefully you can feel the same way with me,” he said again, then the sentence stopped when their two eyeballs were locked.

“Meanour?” Anindita made sure of what she heard.

“I like you as a man towards a woman, can we start this different relationship?” The sentence escaped ejected from Hadi's mouth, throwing all the burden of feeling that had been harbored all this time.

Anindita fell silent, her brain still trying to digest all the sentences from Hadi. He still could not believe if all the sentences came out of a Hadi for a girl like her. Hadi, a cool manager who has everything, even Anindita knows that her father Hadi has several companies, but the man chose to find his own way of life by working for others. Meanwhile, she was just a poor girl who came to the city complaining about her fate. I have nothing to be proud of. He has no one to boast about except Winah and his mother. The girl suddenly remembered Faisal, now her status was no longer a free single girl, but status was already tied to someone despite not being completely sure of her feelings for the man, but Faisal was his lover.

“Hmm, Mr. Hadi sorry, maybe you don't know if I already have a lover,” Anindita said as she looked into Hadi's eyes that emitted a twinkle of hope.

“I know, but it's not my fault if you have this feeling, as long as you are not bound by a contract, you can still be owned by anyone and you still have the opportunity to freely choose anyone, he said,” he said while staring fixedly at Anindita's face.
