The Journey and Destiny of Love

The Journey and Destiny of Love
Chapter 17 - Accepted

Time has shown at half-four in the afternoon. After finishing performing the Ashar Anindita prayer and Faisal moved to leave the small village full of memories, leaving Bu Wanti there to live life alone. Actually, little heart Anindita could not bear to imagine the middle-aged woman living alone there, but the feeling was a little treated when staring at the face full of bliss from the mother.

Before leaving to return to the city, Anindita left several pieces of money on Bu Idah, her nearest neighbor. She asked the woman to accompany her mother frequently, but Bu Idah was also a widow, so it was likely that she could have more time to accompany her mother.

The car was slow because it was still on a bad road. Anindita rested her shoulders on the chair she was leaning back. His eyes closed, letting the man driving beside him wake up alone.

The afternoon breeze touched their skin, because since leaving earlier Anindita asked Faisal to turn off the car AC and let the fresh air that was still clear accompany them to the village border. After the streets began to crowded, dust pollution began to fill the air, slowly closed glass and replaced with artificial cold air from the AC of the car they were riding.

Forty-five minutes passed, now they had entered the city crowd even though the distance was still far enough to travel. Faisal glanced at the girl beside him who was still closing his eyes. There are things that he wants to ask, but does not feel the heart if you have to disturb the sleep of the girl. Luckily before long, Anin squirmed and blinked her eyes.

“Where to Bang? still far?” tanyakanya.

“Just entered the city of Nin, it's good, oh yes Brother hungry, stop by first find a restaurant yes, you want to eat what?” faisal asked while still focusing on driving.

“Emh, whatever the hell is up, but malesi lah if eating at a restaurant, nyari angkringan roadside alone Bang,” said Anindita.

“Ok, what do you want to eat? rice pecel, baso, ketoprak, chicken noodles or what? ” Faisal delivers one by one roadside food menu that he often meets.

“The nearest and fastest is Bang, later in front of the first food store we just stop, whatever it is Anin ga problem,” said Anindita.

Not how long was the discovery of an angkringan pecel madiun with a lesehan eating area under shady trees. The pecel seller was left on the side of the road but behind it was a house with a large yard and shady trees. Some sheets of mats are held separately. Faisal parked his car and then they looked for the place they felt most comfortable. Anindita put her phone in a small sling bag and then carried it.

They both ate in silence. Anindita's mind is still thinking about her mother who is now living alone in her hometown, wanting it feels like taking her former sister-in-law and Rizki back to live with her mother, Rizki, but he realized that he could not fully guarantee their lives. The girl still had to finish the rest of the loan she used to renovate the house.

While Faisal, the man's mind is actually focused on something, things that still do not get clarity. His gaze occasionally stole a glance at the girl in front of him who had finished his meal and was now sipping warm tea. Sweat appeared to pour on the girl's forehead after devouring the super spicy dish she ordered. Faisal's hand reflexes wiped away the sweat that seemed to be on the girl's forehead with his hands.

“Abang what?” Anindita was shocked while gently brushed off the man's hand.

“Lap sweat,” replied the man briefly. Anindita only realized that if Faisal's palm was wet with sweat, she took out a packet of tissue from her bag, took several twins and thrust at the man.

“Nih Bang, clean his hands, slovenly ih,” he said while chopping. The man just chuckled and took the tissue the girl gave him.

“Hmm, Brother wants something Nin,” he said with a sharp look.

DEG

“What's Bang?” he said flatly trying to hide his ungodly feelings.

“What about Brother's proposal yesterday? Decided yet?” sure enough, the man asked what he was afraid to decide.

Anindita bowed, sighing deeply several times. His heart tried to convince him of the decision he had made last night to take. After a few minutes of silence, his hand reached into something from the bag, apparently a maroon colored box that Faisal gave while at his house. Staring at the box, Anindita raised her head to look at the young man who was watching her with a hopeful look. Suddenly his hand thrust the box at Faisal. The man's face seemed to gasp with disappointment, it was certain that the girl returned the box because she still could not accept his presence.

“Abang understands,” he said while receiving the maroon box from the hands of Anindita.

“Thank God that you understand,” said the girl by trying to overcome the rumbling in her chest by sipping back the remaining warm tea half to the end. Faisal tried to smile while still holding the box, Anindita's eyes glanced at him questioningly.

“Actually Brother knows ga anyway?” the girl threw a question with her ignorant smile after she managed to master herself.

“Iya Abang understands,” said Faisal with a sad face that he tried to toughen up.

“If you understand that the box is still holding, here put it on,” said the girl while thrusting her left arm to the young man. Faisal's eyes widened perfectly, the curved line with his lips was clearly drawn. In a half-confident voice he asked.

“You mean to accept Brother's proposal?” faisal asked reassuringly his heart that had immediately soared after it had been blown into such a painful base. The girl simply nodded with a dikulum smile.

The man seemed to lose control, he stood up and then prostrated his gratitude under the jackfruit tree where Anindita rested. Some people looked at him in wonder. His smile expanded even wider, after prostrating he immediately opened the box and took Anindita's fingers. He pinned the diamond-eyed ring slowly in his girl's hand.

“May our intentions be watered down to the marriage stage, baby,” he said so sincerely with perfect sparkling eyes.

“Amin,” is just that short sentence that escaped Anindita's tiny mouth. While his heart was trying to make such a heavy decision he took, Rio was still there.

“But honestly Bang, Rio's name is still not completely lost in my heart, Anin asked for time to completely remove it and inscribed a new sheet there,” the girl bowed, Anin, telling the truth is better than hiding it yourself.

“Abang that will remove it from there, so you will never see the painful traces,” said Faisal sure by staring at his girl full of happiness.

The sun was already about to sink when the two of them decided to continue on their way. An unexpected event still made Faisal's heart flowery, with the spirit he went home and was about to report the happy news to his mother and ask that the match between the families be canceled immediately. Now he has managed to find someone who he is very confident can accompany him until the end of his life.
