The Journey and Destiny of Love

The Journey and Destiny of Love
Chapter 16 - Apology

That morning Anindita was getting ready to clean up the things she would bring later in the afternoon. Ms. Wanti has started to open her stall, some neighbors have already bought her mother's first sale. Many welcome the arrival of the woman in her village there are also some who are ninyir and do not like the success of women who were once so poor in her village.

That day in addition to the opening of the inaugural stall, Bu Wanti also made several tens of souvenir parcels for people who visited his stall as a form of gratitude for the change in the line of good fortune that sided with him. A packet of basic food consisting of rice, instant noodles, sugar, cooking oil, tea, coffee and milk brings a variety of hues of happiness for every neighbor who visits his house.

“Still,” said a middle-aged woman of her age when she received the gift. Replied by a nod and smile from Bu Wanti.

“Oh yes Ma'am, Mas handsome who yesterday yes, ga looks, he's the candidate Anin right?” The mothers stopped for a while before continuing their steps while looking at the house of Bu Wanti looking for Faisal's whereabouts.

“May be a fool, please pray only, the person is not at home Mom, he is going to the house of Mr. RT delivering a basic package as well, want Mr. RT nyicipin my windfall” said Bu Wanti.

“Lucky Anin, hopefully a spit of ghosts ya Bu,” said the woman then passed.

Unbeknownst to Bu Wanti, Anindita's pair of clear eyes stared at her from behind the window. So touched to see the hope of his mother who turned out to expect Faisal to be his son-in-law. He only sighed deeply, honestly, his heart still kept Rio's name. The first man to occupy such a special position in his heart. The man who was never decisive, never gave clarity to him whether to really wait for him. At first glance Faisal did look more everything than Rio. The man who proposed to her is well established, mature and can decide firmly on what he feels. If Rio were to do so, surely the girl would be happy and would not need to bury all those memories. It's true that love can sometimes not be pursued using logic, that's what Anindita is feeling. Disappointed, angry, sad even decided to forget Rio, but his little heart could not lie if he still hoped that man would become her husband.

Faisal was seen coming out of a simple house owned by the village RT chairman. He walked down the cracked asphalt road. The distance of Bu Wanti's house is not far from the palace, so the young man chose to walk. But suddenly his steps came to a halt, a car pulled over nearby and a woman in new-looking clothes approached him.

“Mas, sorry can I talk to you for a minute?” the girl in a sweetened style threw a smile at Faisal. The man was just stunned and stared coldly at the woman.

“Mas, I want to apologize about yesterday's incident, Brother Romi has explained everything, can convey my apology to Anindita,” he said as he approached Faisal.

“Apardon yourself to him, I have no business with you,” Faisal said as he stepped away from the girl.

“Mas, I'm Lia, I used to be good friends with Anin, yesterday it was just a misunderstanding,” Lia tried to trace Faisal's steps.

“The more arrogant, the more interesting, surely I can grab the attention of the man, I will be more beautiful and rich than Anindita. Where can he get something more from me.” He murmured inwardly while following Faisal's fast-paced steps.

“Aduh,” Lia tried to attract the attention of the young man in front of her by pretending to be sprained and discussing the path.

Faisal turned his head, coldly staring at the girl who was trying to chase after him. Lia sped up her path and charged at Faisal. The man was right next to him.

“Mas, can help me, I have trouble walking,” Lia's face is pinched, her hand is trying to reach Faisal's arm. The young man quickly brushed it off.

“Be sure yourself, you are the one who made the problem why you should involve me with the difficulty you made yourself,” Faisal glanced at Lia's limping feet as if he saw something strange there. After that, he went back quickly and did not care about the woman who continued to follow him.

“Assalamu’alaikum,” Lia said hello when he arrived at Bu Wanti's shop, while Faisal's back had entered the house.

“You meet Anin, I want to apologize for yesterday's misunderstanding,” he said while sharing a forced smile.

“Please enter, Anin is inside,” said Bu Wanti kindly.

“Anin, have Lia meet you!” half yelled Bu Wanti called his daughter because at the same time there was a buyer coming and could not be abandoned.

Lia stepped towards the door of the house that was slightly open, then knocked on it slowly, at a glance the cold-faced man was sitting in the living room. Anindita opened the door wide and let the person in front of her in. With a spirit Lia entered and took a seat beside Faisal. The man remained indifferent to the existence of someone who was already beside him. Anindita served a cold drink to the woman in front of her and sat on the opposite side of her.

“I want to apologize Nin for yesterday's incident, I misunderstand you,” he said as his eyes occasionally glanced at Faisal.

“It's okay, I'm sorry Lia, besides it's natural that jealousy, jealousy is a sign of love, meaning Kak Romi did not choose the wrong wife, because you love her so much, because you love her,” said Anindita sincerely. Lia smiled as the occasional tip of her eyes stole a glance at the handsome man beside her.

“Oh yes, you are engaged yes, when will you get married?” Lia tried to find out, because actually her arrival was to ascertain whether the handsome man was really her future husband Anindita.

“Ah, it is still a long time Li, I still want to focus on a career,” Anindita said without suspicion.

“Why do you want to know our relationship? Nothing to do with you,” Faisal said coldly as he left the living room towards Anindita's room which was irrigated with a surprised look of the girl because Faisal entered his room without permission. Lia just stared at the wide back it passed. Meanwhile, Anindita rushed after Faisal who had closed his room tightly after saying goodbye to Lia.

“Before Lia,” said Anindita while rushing into her room.

Lia looked at him with a dislike look. His heart still could not accept if the girl in front of him was luckier than him. He used to force his father to make love to him with Romi, because he knew that the best young man in his village always helped Anindita in every difficulty.

“Abang why enter my room?” anindita's voice half whispered with eyes glaring at Faisal sleeping in his bed.

“Ck, very lazy look at the woman, a sneak tell home so or brother will take a nap here,” he said while curled up to his back to the girl who was so upset by his arbitrary behavior.

“Why go to my room?” anindita grumbled while still shaking her waist on the edge of her bed.

“Times to mother's room, here there are only two rooms Nin,” Faisal sat down while leaning his back on the back of the bed.

“Awas if macem-macem here,” Anin turned around leaving Faisal who was smiling ignorantly looking at him.

Lia was still waiting for him and looked ready to say goodbye. He said there were other interests waiting for him, when the real reason was because Faisal was not there so he had no other reason to stay longer in the place of the girl he did not like.
