The Hug His Darkness

The Hug His Darkness
The Part 16

Quirinus felt no obligation to explain all the provisions of life he lived. So, he replied with a twitch of the shoulder.

Annora who wants to argue and not accept with an unclear answer also needs to be undone because the phone screen turns on and shows the name of her daddy along with a photo that is so handsome at a young age. “Wait, I lift this for a minute.”

Quirinus was silent, letting Annora grab the phone and press the green button. He tried not to hear, but his ears were not deaf. Be the conversation the woman just escapes into her eardrum.

“Ya, Dad?” greet Annora.

From there Quirinus was able to conclude that the one who contacted was Annora's parents, especially Daddy. Not feeling his lips smile slanted that looks livid. It was fortunate that the woman had a caring family, until she called first. Very different from him.

From there it has also been seen how different the world of the two humans. Annora with all the luck she had, and Quirinus who lived full of the dark world and all her misfortune. Being born in the world is one of the things that the man deeply regrets.

“Where? Why didn't you come home last night?”

From the tone of speech that Annora heard, it could be captured clearly that her daddy was worried. It was the first time he had not stayed overnight outside. Her name is also her only daughter. “Em .. sorry, my phone's running out of battery. So, haven't given me the news yet. Last night I stayed at ...” He hung up an explanation, not going on to tell her whereabouts.

Annora glanced at Quirinus who was still focusing on looking at her. “I'll be home soon, Dad.” Finally he chose to end the phone because his parents would definitely make trouble there— where he had to keep it secret.

Put it on the table. Annora finally made a choice. “I approve the first. I'll keep this place a secret from anyone.” But I can't promise not to come back here, because it's definitely tomorrow or the next days I'll set foot in this place again. The plan was just mumbled in his mind.

“Good.” Quirinus nodded expressionlessly.

“Paper, where?” annora asked with her eyebrows intertwined.

“Signature. Doesn't the covenant to be stronger have to have physical evidence? So ... prepare.”

Quirinus smiled cynically. “The most powerful promise is to yourself, not on paper or documents.” He did not apply the ancient things as Annora had imagined. Too wasting time. That was his life.

“True also.” Annora just muttered. He had promised in his heart that he would go, keep it a secret, and definitely come back again.

“Now you can go, continue your life like before you know me,” Quirinus said. He got off the stool to open Annora's door because he had to insert a pin to open it.

Annora followed the muscular manly body to the door. He peeked as well when Quirinus pressed the number six.

The owner of the house just moved his head to give a sign so that Annora could get out. “I keep your promise, lest you renege.”

Annora's head nodded. However, before leaving Quirinus alone, he took the time to pause before the man, pinching and landing a kiss on the cheek. Don't forget there's a pretty smile. “Bye ... see you later.” He waved his hand as he walked backwards towards the car.

Quirinus shook her head against Annora. But, when the woman's car left, she was only able to breathe a sigh of relief. Eventually the silence will return to its original state.

Meanwhile, in the mansion belonged to Annora's parents. Daddy Danesh had paused a conversation with his nephew, to call his daughter who had no news since last night.

“So you guys want to tell me about what?” Danesh refocused the conversation on the twins Faydor and Galtero who had grown up once without being asked.
