The Great Demon King

The Great Demon King
Chapter 43 " Reborn "

Han Shuo whizzed all the way back and suddenly detected that Gene had not slept when he returned to the camp. He sat outside his tent, bored to death.

“Eh, Bryan. Have you seen Fanny or Lisa? “Gene instantly stood up and asked when she heard Han Shuo's footsteps.

Nodding, Han Shuo said weakly, “Ya. Mr. Fanny and Lisa will be back soon. Mr Gene, why haven't you slept? ”

“Oh, because Clark suddenly left on business. He asked me to give an apology to Fanny. Hah, that Clark left without giving a reason. How confusing. ”

Han Shuo's mind raced after hearing Gene's words, and he soon understands that Clark must have left abruptly because he knows that he won't be able to explain his actions for crashing and angering Fanny and Lisa in the pool.

“I saw. Mr. Gene, I still need to collect some items from nearby. When Mr. Fanny and Lisa return, please tell them that I will be back at dawn. “Han Shuo quickly headed south after he spoke, not noticing whether Gene agreed to deliver his message or not. He disappeared without a trace in the blink of an eye.

Although Han Shuo's body was not stiff and was running out of energy, he still felt the effects of the Python tail whip. Her body is completely scarred, and she knows that Fanny and Lisa are bound to nag her for a bit when they return. This way, he was unable to use his magic yuan to repair his body. Therefore he decided to temporarily avoid the situation and wait until morning. Their emotions would be mostly annihilated at that moment, and there should be nothing big at that.

There was a towering tree in the south with thick densely wooded branches with twigs and leaves about ten meters from the ground. Han Shuo sat down in an Indian style and concentrated heavily, putting together the magic yuan to repeatedly strengthen his body.

Time passed involuntarily, and the slight pain in Han Shuo's body faded under the circulation of the magical yuan. Every inch of skin, flesh, tendons, and bones in his body felt like they were filled with a surging force.

Han Shuo had sunk into a passive demonic mental state when a hint of pain started to emerge from his mind and gradually spread throughout his body. A sudden attack of pain accompanied it, as the suffering was ten times stronger than the pain roared to life and caused Han Shuo to cry immediately.

The exploding sound of pilipala rang out from within his body accompanying his pain-filled roar. Faint and gloomy strands of air started rising from Han Shuo's pores along with these sounds, and layers of ripples swam along the surface of his body, as if someone had thrown a stone into the water. When his pores finished emitting turbid air and dangerous objects within his body, a misty cloud of black splendor vaguely surrounded his body.

The situation is ongoing for who knows how long. Han Shuo only felt the pain all over his body suddenly disappear without a trace, and he fell down from a ten meter tall branch with a sharp gap. His body is agile and agile.

The success! He finally broke through the first demon “solid” realm. From now on, his body has been reborn. Whether it was strength, suppleness, or toughness, his body now far exceeded that of an ordinary person. After surpassing the most basic “solid” realm, Han Shuo's efforts in training in the future would be reduced by half, but it would be doubled in effectiveness.

A thought suddenly struck him and his magical yuan circulated freely, meeting no obstructions. Not only could it easily travel along his four limbs, chest, and stomach, but the magical yuan could also easily circulate to his head. Han Shuo glanced at his bare skin and saw that not a single scar was left of his scarred body covered. His skin and flesh were clean and supple, and he could clearly feel that his height had increased by one or two centimeters as he moved his body.

He raised his head to look up at the sky and saw that it was still night. Han Shuo was having fun in the excitement of the new life as he constantly circulated the magical yuan all over his body, eagerly sensing every inch of change.

Suddenly, Han Shuo's mind raced as he recalled the handbag and jade box he had brought with him. The last time he used a strange object inside the jade box to mediate and train his mental strength, he almost had all of his mental strength removed instead. Only when the magical yuan had flowed into his brain did he find a way out of danger and appear with great rewards instead.

Now that he had broken through the “dense” region, Han Shuo could freely spread the magical yuan as he wished and order it to flow into his body parts, including the hardest-to-reach part, his brain. Recalling the huge reward he had obtained earlier, Han Shuo found it hard to suppress the desire in his heart. He immediately sat down, crossed his legs, and took out the bag he always kept.

When he opened the box, the ball that looked like an eyeball was still as weird and sinister as he remembered. As he concentrated his mental strength and slowly began to fuse it into a round ball, the same thing that happened last time happened again. The ball instantly emitted a bright green aura, and a drop of blood within it gave off a heavy and uncomfortable feeling.

Han Shuo's mental strength was sucked up like a whale drinking in water, and it flowed swiftly into the round ball inside the jade box. The pain in Han Shuo's mind increased as his mental strength continued to be sucked in.

Han Shuo suddenly sank bonelessly to the ground and gasped for air. His entire mind felt dizzy and stuffy, and this condition was maintained for a while. He slowly returned to normal and only felt that his mental strength had indeed increased significantly. Han Shuo stared involuntarily at the round ball happily.

Suddenly, Han Shuo saw that the strands of green light had already started rippling through the ball. These strands of light interlocked together continuously, as if a pen was tracing an image. A picture formed in the middle after a while – a strange gray castle.

Briefly revealed by the green stripes, it suddenly disappeared without a trace leaving only a drop of red in the middle of burning continuously as it actually formed the shape of a red arrow. Freeze for a moment, then point to the south.

What does this mean? What does it mean when the arrow points south?

Han Shuo was momentarily dumbfounded as he stared at the red dot in the middle, deep in thought. His mind churned crazily and finally confirmed one thing. The red arrow inside the round ball had painted a direction, like a destination to travel.

He hesitated and looked at the sky as his curiosity was completely shaken. He finally grabbed the jade box and quickly went south, in the direction that the jade box pointed at.

Throughout this entire process, Han Shuo could sense that the further south he traveled, the more he heard the sounds of the great magical beast. Danger abounded along the way and he was quite wary. His eyes occasionally turned to the round ball and noticed that the arrow was constantly changing direction, as if showing the correct path for Han Shuo.

He continued in this manner for a few moments when the red arrow in the round ball he was holding finally disappeared. A drop like red blood reappeared, and the green light emitted from the ball became even stronger. A powerful magical pulse shot out from the ball.

Han Shuo stopped, scanned his surroundings and realized that this was a common area filled with weeds, shrubs and towering trees. An unknown large tree with twined intertwined branches was present not too far away, and its strange shadows, illuminated by moonlight, appeared like monstrous creatures on the ground.

Han Shuo focused his attention and suddenly saw something strange. In other parts of the Dark Forest, the sound of the insects would continue no matter how quiet it was, but after reaching this place, the voice of the insects would continue no matter how quiet it was, Han Shuo realized that this place was almost deserted. There was no single insect call and no signs of life could be found.

Bizarrely. Han Shuo felt that the entire area was filled with a strange aura, hidden beneath the ordinary exterior. This aura felt familiar and friendly to Han Shuo, as if he had long since gotten used to some things, but after thinking carefully, it was as if he had, Han Shuo realized that he did not know what was going on.

Just as Han Shuo was completely lost and immersed in his thoughts, the round ball inside the jade box suddenly floated into the air as the ball used a green light on the surface to draw a beam of magical lines in the air. Han Shuo could feel a strong magical pulse in the air, and that they grew stronger the more green balls shone.

After Han Shuo noticed, he suddenly realized that the area bathed in green light was undergoing a change that made his eyes pop out and his tongue bound. The weeds and bushes on the ground would suddenly vanish without a trace every time a green light touched it, to turn into dry, gray, ground, and dusty with a pile of stiff white bones, piled on top of it.

The densely leafy and towering tree at the side also underwent a frightening change under the green light, turning into the skeleton of a terrifying dead creature. If Han Shuo's memories served him properly, that huge skeleton was a legendary bone dragon, the most terrifying type of dark creature.

Deaths. The empty and silent wilderness metamorphosed into a land of eternal death under the green light.

There was a huge gray castle floating in the air, half buried underground. Several sharp and strange thorns encircled the castle as numerous images of dark creatures were carved into the castle walls.

Han Shuo looked at it for a moment, completely dumbstruck. He finally muttered to himself in astonishment. “This ... is this the legendary grave of death?”
