The Great Demon King

The Great Demon King
Chapter 157 "Taking all the memories of the soul"

The white bone staff, which had originally floated above Han Shuo, had its head turned around at a time and left its head to float above the necromancer. The terrified necromancer continued chanting incantations and trying to regain control of the staff, but nothing he did had any effect.

The Demonslayer Edge suddenly flew out at this moment and pierced into the necromancer's chest. A red spell suddenly flared above his head, while Han Shuo sat cross-legged. It was his turn to speak in a low voice.

The necromancer was burnt to a crisp in a very short time as his head was surrounded by a red spell. His head was like black ash, and it was no longer possible to see his face.

A profound spell sounded from Han Shuo's mouth. He waved his hand and the white bone staff suddenly shot out a green light that swerved together to create a net. The green light net covers the head of the necromancer like a whirlpool that sucks something.

A gray aura suddenly floated out from the necromancer's body and was slowly being held back by the green net, just as the souls of the other dead around him had been. A net and white staff floated in front of Han Shuo.

The white staff suddenly flew into Han Shuo's hands when it reached him, while the green net was absorbed into Han Shuo's brain through the hole of his face, along with the soul within.

Emily was completely unnerved by this series of events. He doesn't know what's going on. He did not understand why that arrogant necromancer had suddenly lost his soul to Han Shuo.

After the green net and necromancer's soul were absorbed by Han Shuo's brain through his mouth hole, Han Shuo sat cross-legged and did not move a muscle. However, his expression kept changing, sometimes joyful, angry, and sometimes sad.

As Han Shuo sat there motionlessly, the small skeleton that had been standing in a daze seemed to still be confused. It walked around the surroundings with a bone dagger in hand. When the small skeleton reached the center where the altar was located, its eyes suddenly landed on the pool of blood that had been used to summon the Ansidesi.

“Leave the place!” Emily knew that the small skeleton had an inexplicable connection with Han Shuo. When he saw the small skeleton run to that dangerous place, he immediately spoke up to stop it.

The pool of evil blood in the center of the altar had formed from the corpses of countless guards of the trading house. The necromancer had likely added a number of cunning items. Emily was so afraid that the evil in the pond would attack the body of the small skeleton if she entered.

It's unfortunate that Emily isn't Han Shuo. His words had no effect on that little skeleton. Her words actually had the opposite effect, as the small skeleton touched her delicate head and looked at Emily with a hint of confusion, turning around to leap forward into the pond.

“Yes geez. Not only was his master insane, but also a summoned creature! ”Emily became angry because of her anxiety and began to curse.

Emily was still walking towards the altar, though she cursed, planning to see how she could help the small skeleton. When he reached the altar, and saw that the small skeleton was splashing happily within the pool of blood, he actually felt the emotion of excitement from the small skeleton, he felt, sank to his neck as he played like an innocent child.

“Eh, what's with this little skeleton?” Emily had no idea what to say when she saw that everything was fine with the little skeleton and that she seemed to be having fun.

All the corpses that landed in the blood pond before had seen their flesh and blood dissolve immediately, with their bodies sinking into the pond without a trace, without a trace, but the small skeleton did not seem to be affected at all after entering the pond. This made Emily very surprised. When he thought back to the first time he had met Han Shuo and how the little skeleton seemed to be immune to a lot of dark magic, chasing him up and down the battlefield, Emily had to shake her head with a sad smile. There were some things he could not explain.

Suddenly, Emily's eyelashes fluttered rapidly as she looked at the pool of blood, confused. When looking closely, it seemed that the blood within the pond was slowly diminishing.

When Emily refocused her attention on the small skeleton, she noticed that the seven bone spurs behind the back of the small skeleton were absorbing blood from the pond. This strange phenomenon made Emily scream in shock and mutter, “Yeah, what kind of demon did she call ?!”

The blood within the pool was slowly absorbed into the seven bone spurs on the back of that small skeleton. As the blood began to dry up, many of the white bones in it seemed to be affected by some force and liquefied with the remaining blood, also absorbed by the seven spurs.

This process took about half an hour and everything inside the pond had been absorbed by that small skeletal spinal area. Emily discovered that the seven bone spurs on her back had turned red, bright red and subtly emitted a bloodthirsty glow. They looked sharper and scarier than before.

The pond was square and three meters in shape after everything disappeared. The small skeleton was only one meter tall. He looked at Emily, seemingly considering how to climb.

“Running ideas now, isn't it?” Emily snorted and planned to stretch out the rope to pull the small skeleton upwards.

Who would have known that the small skeleton would suddenly activate the seven-bone spurs on his back as soon as he spoke, tremblingly flying out from the bottom of the pool of blood, landing next to the destroyed Emily. The small skeleton did not even look at Emily once when she activated seven more bone spurs to fly next to Han Shuo who was still meditating.

“Damn it, you are as jerk as your master!” Although the small skeleton was expressionless, Emily could sense that she was showing off arrogantly at this moment and she could not help but curse at it.

Han Shuo exhaled lightly at this moment and suddenly said, “Finally done!”

Emily was very surprised and turned to look at Han Shuo. He was suddenly blown away and looked into his eyes in astonishment, forgetting to ask Han Shuo what was going on.

Han Shuo's eyes were suddenly very clear, like the brightest stars in the vast sky. They were alluring and profound, giving others an impenetrable feeling of mystery.

“What's wrong?” Han Shuo could not help but stand up as he looked at Emily's loving expression and walked over to pinch her face, asking with a hint of confusion.

“No, not much. It's just that your eyes seem brighter than before, and even your presence seems to have undergone some changes. “Emily brushed off Han Shuo's playful hand slightly shyly.

“Heh heh, so it turns out there is a very good side benefit to taking over the soul of necromancer.” Han Shuo laughed happily.

“Quickly and tell me, what is going on?” Emily's curiosity killed her just then as her hand shook and gripped Han Shuo's throat, asking ruthlessly.

“Coughs, alright, alright!” Han Shuo smiled in explanation after he snatched Emily's hand from her neck. “I told you that the martial technique I practiced was quite magical. Not only do they strengthen My body, but they even enlarge My brain. He wanted to use the soul erosion spell now to take over my soul and memory, but since my brain had been enlarged, I could also feel all the memories of his soul during this process. ”

“Logically speaking, necromancer at my level, mental strength, and brain processes would definitely be much lower than the speed at which he would erode my soul. Ordinary people did not even have time to repeat their names before their memories were co-opted. ”

“But it is unfortunate that the constancy of my enlarged brain is something he did not imagine. I took over his memory before he could take my memories and occupy his soul, obtaining all of his. That simple. ”

Emily was amazed by the explanation coming from Han Shuo's mouth. He looked at Han Shuo with an incredible gaze and continued to shake his head, “Excellent, very unbelievable. What kind of monster are you? ”

Hugging her ferociously, Han Shuo held onto Emily and said cheerfully, “Alright, alright. Don't be so surprised. We can leave now. ”

The Demonslayer Edge suddenly flew out from the necromancer's chest after he finished speaking, landing on Han Shuo's palm. There was a finger cut at the end of Demonslayer Edge with a spaced ring on it. Han Shuo also accepted that.

“You brat, stop flying around and get off.” Han Shuo shouted as he smiled at the small skeleton that was still spinning in the air. The small skeleton that was stretched out in front of Han Shuo and suddenly shrieked until it stopped in front of him, standing on the ground, waving its bone dagger.

“She, she entered a pool of blood and absorbed all the blood and all the bone fragments into those seven bone spurs.” Emily hurried to explain to Han Shuo what the little skeleton had done as she meditated.

Nodding, Han Shuo smiled, “I know. This was not the first time he had done something so bold. It's not a big deal. Look, he can fly now, isn't that great? ”

“I don't know what kind of demon you made here. I noticed that he seems to have his own emotions now. I don't know if it was my misunderstanding, but when I laughed at him for not being able to get out of the pool of blood, he immediately flew proudly from her. Really, I could feel that he was showing off at me, I promise! ”Emily looked at the small skeleton and seemed to suddenly remember what had just happened.

“Heh heh, don't be surprised. There are too many confusing things in this world. I believe that what you see is not an illusion because I've had the same impression before. I can't say for sure what's going on right now, but I think he'll give me an explanation as he continues to evolve in the future. ”Han Shuo was not surprised at all when he pointed to the small skeleton and smiled faintly.

Emily started when she heard these words and looked at the small skeleton with a wry smile after a while, then turned her gaze to Han Shuo. “You two are freaks!”

“There is nothing strange about this. You must get used to everything about Me, because I believe there will only be extraordinary things that will happen in the future. ”Han Shuo laughed out loud and looked in a good mood.

“Bryan, you are growing at such a fast pace that your future achievements will be hard to imagine. Maybe I won't be able to help you with anything right away. I'm just a widow, will you get rid of me then? “Suddenly Emily thought about things in the future when she looked to Han Shuo. Her beautiful eyes looked at him and asked with a hint of sadness.

“Do not be silly. I'm with you, not because of what you can help. Even if our identity changes in the future, it will not affect anything between us. “Han Shuo looked at Emily deeply and saw her displaying a happy expression. He then pulls Emily. “Come. Let's go, we don't have to go anywhere else. I think I've got what you need. ”

The two did not linger as they left, hand in hand. The sky had just begun to brighten, when the two of them left silently, similar to how they arrived."
