Chapter 36 "The calm of an errand boy "

The man-eating monsters let out strange sounds with their mouths as they moved. They suddenly started running towards the band when the strongest and tallest man-eating monster pointed at them with its club.

Magic spell strands sounded before the monsters even began to approach. The bundle of bone arrows flew towards the man-eating monsters from thin air, and those above the level of a magic apprentice fired even more powerful spells, bone spears.

A bone spear was a necromancy magic similar to a bone arrow, but one had to be at least the level of a novice mage to master it. The power of the spell was also slightly stronger than the bone arrow. Arrows and bone spears flew together, through the air, making a straight for the eight man-eating monsters.

These eight monsters knew to dodge attacks when they ran, but they were not a race known for speed. Some were still hit by arrows and bone spears.

Except, their bodies are very durable. The bone arrows only caused them to scream in pain and temporarily affected their speed, but could not penetrate their bodies. Only bone spears left bloody holes in their bodies, with green blood dripping from them.

Eight monsters continued to be injured as they approached, but none of them completely lost the ability to fight. They crashed into the outer defensive line and started attacking the inner ring.

Han Shuo remained within the defensive circle in an orderly, calm manner. His face was full of calmness, he stared coldly at the approaching man-eating monsters and slowly measured their battle power.

“Let the dark creatures attack!” Fanny shouted loudly as the look on her beautiful face turned to the grave when she saw the human predatory monster approaching.

Everyone started directing the outer ring of the dark creature to attack when Fanny's words sounded. The summoned ghosts, skeletal warriors, zombie warriors, and hate warriors all held their positions firmly, attacking only when the man-eating monsters closed the distance.

But the man-eating monsters were tall and sweaty, and their muscles gave them a formidable defense. Apart from the hate fighters, who could actually cause some damage with their metal clubs, the effects of the other dark creatures' attacks were extremely limited.

The ghosts and skeletal warriors were extremely ineffective. They were soon pounded under a studded club, with skeletal warriors falling to pieces and ghosts dying in masses of flesh and blood. Zombie warriors were more durable and could receive multiple attacks from studded clubs, but they also staggered weakly after being hit several times.

“This damned man-eating monster is a bit hard to handle!” Gene begins to worry when he sees the dark creature's outer lines begin to collapse, but the man-eating monsters remain standing, even as much bleeding from various attack magic.

“Wait a minute! Don't let them make a breakthrough, otherwise we will definitely die if we face them in close combat! “Fanny shouted loudly, a trace of anxiety appeared on her pretty face as well.

Rounds of bone spears continued to appear as he chanted his incantations. They sharpened one man-eating monster, with the final spear piercing through the monster through the eyes and piercing its head with a single punch. The remaining seven man-eating monsters seemed to lose their minds after their comrade was killed. Even though the two hate warriors had been pierced by the spears of the man-eating monsters, they continued to hold their ground and firmly tied the two man-eating monsters again.

Only the strongest and highest man-eating monsters were not particularly affected. It was holding a studded stick and running fast, making strange noises and even shouting simple phrases like “I .. I will ... kill you”.

“We just used a corpse blast spell and pretty drained our mental strength. We won't be able to use other high-level magic for a while. Everybody run away! ”Gene's face became panicked and she screamed quickly.

Fanny looked around and urged, “Everyone hastened and left! Don't get caught by these monsters. ”

Everyone grew even more panicked after these words from Fanny and Gene. The resources beside all were forgotten as they all frantically tried to distance themselves from the club-studded monsters, fast eaters, man-eaters.

Except, although the speed of the man-eating monster was not very fast, it was still faster than the students, especially since the latter sometimes stumbled on the skeletons of the remaining warriors as they panicked. It produced a speed that was truly unrivalled when compared to the man-eating monsters.

Fanny's thoughts were on the students as she urged them to go and hang themselves. The tall man-eating monster, who remembered that it was Fanny who had cast a corpse-exploding spell and smashed the three monsters to pieces, chased after him without a second thought upon seeing that he had been left behind. His club lifted high and fell towards Fanny.

“Mr Fanny, be careful!”

“Awas! Fanny, behind you! ”

Lisa, Gene, and a few others screamed in shock and fear as they watched the club descend towards Fanny from behind.

Fanny turns around when she hears another cry and discovers that the studded club is falling right at her. The sharp points of his buttons sparkled with a cold light, and the accompanying hissing sound gave evidence of the strength behind this punch.

Her dazzling face with a pale white with no trace of color, and her beautiful legs were suddenly devoid of strength. A sad feeling of helplessness surfaced in his eyes as the studded club grew larger in his vision.

Clang. Fireflowers are flying everywhere.

Fanny's beautiful eyes widened as she looked in front of her, a little confused. Two studded clubs had appeared before him at an unknown time, and the two collided together. The sharp stud had been flattened at the point of contact, which still emitted some metal splashes.

He followed his gaze to the opponent-studded club and suddenly discovered that Han Shuo had appeared to his left. Both of his hands held tightly to the studded club that was completely disproportionate to his body. Veins appeared on his forehead and arms, and his face twisted while fixedly staring at the man-eating monster.
