Deril's breath was choked when he recognized the face inside the wet mound of dirt in his backyard. His body was no less cold with its trembling fingertips. He was cold, not because of the drizzling rain that made the ambient temperature drop by several degrees. However, he shivered as he found his sister's body embedded underground.
"Diana.." her voice trembled violently. With the rest of her strength and courage inside, Deril reached out to touch Diana's body.
Still warm.
A hope flowed within him. Her tears came out without her being able to hold. Without a second thought, Deril embraced Diana's body. He himself was shocked by the power he had afterwards. Diana felt light in her arms. His sister's body is still warm. That's all that's in Deril's head.
Deril ran back into the house. In that instant, he cursed himself who had not learned to drive. Deril grabbed the towel that was on the clothesline, wrapped around Diana's body as much as possible so that the warmth did not go from there.
"Ohuk!"
Deril. His sister's pale face changed. Her cheeks were flushed, even if only slightly. "Diana! Diana! Hang in! We're going to the hospital now!" exclamation Deril. She placed Diana on the dinner table, then grabbed her phone to order a taxi online.
TING! VAT!
Deril gasped at the sound of the house bell in the middle of silence. He was silent for a moment. His brain needs time to process what is going on.
TING! VAT!
Deril's eyes were on Diana. "Wait a minute" whispered Deril, patting his sister on the shoulder. Deril ran towards the front door which was only five meters away from where he was standing. He peeked out of the door. "Mica?"
Deril pulled the door open. The small figure of Mika stood before him. He was wearing a thick ash sweater that was slightly wet from the rain. Her long hair was loosely covered her back.
"Why are you here?" ask Deril, don't believe it.
"I see you. Backyard. Diana?"
Deril digested for a moment what Mika's answer meant. "ah! Yes, my sister-" Deril swallowed the end of her sentence. He couldn't help but say that he found his sister buried in the backyard.
Mika looked towards her house. "I called the car. It's been here. Wait!"
"Is Doctor Stephen home?" ask Deril. As he recalled, Doctor Stephen was a father who would not let his favorite daughter meet a teenager who was already making trouble. "Back off! Your father could be angry!"
"Father of work," Mika answered quickly. He took a few steps back when the sound of the roar of the car was heard. "Come! Hurry along!"
Deril saw the light of the car lights approaching from the main street. He immediately turned around, running over to Diana who was lying on the floor. "Diana? Diana?" call out to her while embracing Diana's body. Although there was no response from Diana, but seeing her breathing alone, made Deril a little calm. "Mika, thanks!" he said it when he passed Mika. Deril rushed into the car that had just stopped in front of his house.
"With-"
"Deryl. I ordered it. Can you get to the hospital immediately? My sister is dying!" deril pinta.

Serena stood with wide eyes. His face is much pale now. A few seconds later, when she was able to control herself, her feet stepped towards the ER bed where Deril put Diana.
"I found my sister buried in the backyard. Help u! He's still breathing!" pinta Deril as a watch doctor approaches her.
The doctor will open his mouth, debating what Deril said. But, he undoed his intentions and directly checked Diana. Two other medical personnel helped install the tools on Diana's body.
"Deryl... Nak... What's up?" Serena approaches Deril.
Deril looked in shock at his mother. A second ago, he forgot that his mother was here. "Mom, let's sit down!" deril pinta.
Serena is not moving. He did not even blink seeing Diana unconscious. "My boy... Still alive, right?"
"MOTHER!" Deril shouted, making Serena turn her face towards her son. "Mother, I beg you, don't talk carelessly!" deril pinta. She gently pulled her mother's hand, to follow her away from Diana's bed. There was no point in making Serena see what was happening.
"What's wrong?" serena asked, as she sat back to where she was.
"When I got home, Diana wasn't in her room. I searched all the floors, but Diana disappeared. Then I saw the back door open. I had a bad feeling, so I went there." Deril turned to the guard doctor who gave instructions to the medical personnel next to him. "I found Diana buried in the backyard" Deril concluded.
"I'm sorry, Doctor wants to talk," suddenly a nurse comes up to Deril.
"Groaning!"
Deril looked back when his name was called. That voice sounded familiar in his ears. Deril's heart beat faster when he saw who was standing before him.
"August, Doc!"
"August, Doc! Operation's done, Doc?"
"Faster than usual, Doc?"
"Yes. It turned out to be easier than my shadow" replied Doctor Stephen with a face full of smiles. "This is my neighbor. Is there a problem?" Doctor Stephen patted Deril on the shoulder.
"Did the doctor know Alex's patient?"
"Oh, sure! He's Deril's father. What's up?"
Deril's hands clenched. He felt claustrophobic every time Doctor Stephen spoke. There was a sense of suspicion rising inside his chest. Doctor Stephen's smile could not be lost from his head. But, the fact that Doctor Stephen helped her, can't be changed.
"Patient Alex is food poisoning. He vomited blood and came unconscious. The patient's condition is stable. We've been doing hull bump every two hours. Vital signs are stable. But, it still needs to be treated in HCU because the blood results are not good."
"Food poisoning?" doctor Stephen's Restoration. He looked down at Deril. "Did your father like to eat recklessly?"
Deril. At first glance, he remembered what had happened in the kitchen. Next to his father's body, there was a piece of fried chicken that was not eaten. His jaw hardened with all the negative thoughts in his head.
"Dok Dian, make sure the HCU room is available to Deril's father!" doctor Stephen's Message.
"Okay, Doc!" answer the ER doctor. "Oh, yes!" the doctor looked at Deril. "For her sister, can you register first? We're planning a chest rotgent. The oxygen saturation is not good, but it is currently controlled with the help of oxygen."
"Good! I'll daf-"
"Sister?" ask Doctor Stephen.
"Yes, Doc. Just now Mr. Deril brought his sister here. Said-" Doctor Dian glanced at Deril at a glance, "-Pak Deril found his sister buried. We haven't heard the exact story."
When their gazes met, Deril felt a strange sigh in his chest. Doctor Stephen's shiny eyes scared him. But, Deril could not turn his face away. The feathers bristled.
"Diana found?" ask Doctor Stephen. "Buried?"
Pause a few seconds from the question thrown by Doctor Stephen, making Deril's legs limp. He could no longer think rationally. Deril feels that Doctor Stephen is hiding something.
"Deryl! I'm sober!" The scream from Serena made Deril's mind diverted.
Deril turned to his mother who entered his father's care room. "Thank you for the help, Doc," Deril said.
"Surprisingly, you can find your sister buried."
Deril's jaw is hardened. Doctor Stephen's words are ambiguous. "Yes. God is still on my side" Deril growled.
Doctor Stephen smiled slightly. "As long as they're here, they'll get the best care. You don't have to worry."
"Thank you," Deril replied once more, without feeling grateful.
"You better take care of your family better than messing around outside the house." Doctor Stephen patted Deril on the shoulder.
Perhaps, that sentence sounded like a normal piece of advice in someone else's ear. But, to Deril, it sounded more like innuendo. Doctor Stephen said that, not because he was feeling sorry for the bad luck of the Deril family.
Deril was made to experience this, like an accident. A calamity deliberately intended for him. The misfortune that happened because he 'played outside the house', aka wandering in someone else's house.
