THE FLO!

THE FLO!
Bag. 9

I opened the door to my apartment and found out that Braxton only wore boxer shorts. That's habituation. No matter who saw him, it was important that he felt comfortable. I could only shake my head because I was used to his attitude. He just greeted me for a while before getting busy with his phone. When I asked Brenda where she was, Braxton just pointed at the kitchen without making a sound.

"What are you cooking?" I asked when I saw him busy cutting some vegetables. "Where did you get all this stuff? As I recall, my refrigerator doesn't have anything."

"Buy at the supermarket near here. I know your habit of being lazy to cook when good at cooking," replied Brenda while busy putting the vegetables she cut into a hot frying pan. I pulled up the kitchen bench and sat on it while propping my head up with my right hand and looked at it.

"I don't need to cook here. When I got home, I went straight to dinner with Papa and Mama. You don't know Mama's cooking is as good as a five-star chef!" my answer. "What cooking? Fragrant."

"Spaghetti Bolognesse" replied Brenda who was still busy shaking the frying pan in her hand. "But during the day you never eat, right?" I just shook my head. "That's why from tomorrow you'll bring supplies!"

"You think I'm the Junior High kid who brought supplies?"

"You're a high school boy now!"

"I'm enough to just have a cup of coffee, Brenda."

Brenda stopped her busyness. He shrank the fire and looked at me. "I know you're going to do this eventually, Flo! You always punish yourself for what you didn't do."

"My fault for the most part. If I had been more sensitive to Freya and heard the original story, instead of her writing, this would not have happened! Right now, he must be alive."

Brenda took a long breath. "What if Freya doesn't want you to know about her? What if he's broken up to kill himself?"

I raised both my hands. I gave up on Brenda's stubbornness. I know he's worried about me but it's my decision. I'm not going to back off! Don't want to back down until I know who the father of the baby that my sister conceived! I will also avenge those who hurt my sister and make them regret.

Brenda thud. He looked at me inside. "Okay, I'll shut up. I promised to help you" he said, then returned to his initial rush. It seemed that the cooking was ripe because he had already lifted the pan from the stove and placed the pan on the table.

"Call Braxton. Time to dinner" Brenda said, dividing the contents of the pan into three dishes nearby.

"I change clothes first" I replied as I got up from my seat. "And after that, I want you to take a look at the profile I created about the person I suspect."

I turned my body around and called Braxton to eat. After I changed my clothes to my work suit, I followed them to the dinner table. While eating, I asked Brenda about my office. Nothing has changed. It's just that my boss is getting fierce because of my absence. He said my temporary replacement was so pathetic. His skills are not as good as mine. Naturally, I've worked in the company for four years since I graduated from college. Brenda said, My client also asked me about my situation and mourned Freya's death. They were also ready to wait for me until I came back, which of course managed to make me touched.

After eating, I took out a white board from my room and brought it to the living room. The whiteboard already contains photos of Caesar, Azka, Collin and Davin along with information about them. I explained to Brenda and Braxton that the three names were most often mentioned in Freya's diary while Davin's name arose because of my suspicions about him. Instead, I posted pictures of Stella and her gang and other people bullying my sister.

I pointed at Azka's photo. "Until now I can't find out about him because he's still in Singapore and I'm asking for your help to find out about him" I told Braxton. I pointed to Caesar's picture. "She's Freya's best friend who somehow stayed away from Freya. And according to my informant, when Freya died she showed excessive attention, something that people who stay away from us rarely do." I pointed at Collin's picture. "This is the strange thing about this teacher. She praised Freya as if Freya was a goddess. When I watched him, his attitude was indeed a bit strange. He's loner. I never found him hanging out with other teachers and was always in his room. Whether it's a break or if he doesn't have a lesson."

Braxton looked at me until he pointed at Davin's photo. "Then why are you suspicious of the guy when his name is not in Freya's diary?" tanyakanya.

"Behavior," I answered. "He was on the roof every Tuesday, the day Freya died. Same day and same hour. Moreover, I feel like he is always watching me. And most importantly, he's starting to get suspicious about me."

Brenda raised her eyebrows. "Your disguise was exposed?" tanyanya.

I lifted both my shoulders. "not necessarily. He asked me if I knew Freya and if I planted the virus on the school computer. Good thing I always have a back door that I'm prepared for if it's a virus I can track."

Braxton. "Do you know who he is?"

I'm shaking. "That's what makes me curious. I couldn't find anything about him in the school database, as if it was kept so tight. I couldn't find any trace of his past, where he came from or what school he went to, for example, and I only knew about him through the school's identity card."

Braxton got up from his seat. "Let me find out. So is the boy." He pointed at Azka and left us.

"Don't you ever send a picture of him to me?" brenda asked after Braxton came into the room. I nodded slowly. "After I looked around, I seemed to have met him. But I don't remember where."

"That's not what I'm curious about. He had only entered two years ago without any notice to the school before, as if he had an important person behind him. Especially every time I talk to him, I'm like I'm talking to Scott." I mentioned my boss's name.

"Big boss?"

I'm nodding. "It was his arrogance that made me remember Scott, as if he had power." Moreover, he is amazing.

"What do you want to do now to approach them one by one?"

I lifted both my shoulders. "Caesar is still difficult to approach. He was so closed. Collin was even more difficult because of our status. It's only Davin I can approach right now."

"How?"

"He invited me to take part in exculpation, an additional activity for students," I added when I saw Brenda's confused face as I said the word 'exculus'. "In addition to me entering the computer experience, I don't need to worry about finding student data because it is much easier and less detectable."

Brenda smiles. "I got it. We can't see what's under our noses" he said, repeating my words.

I mention it every time I do my job. In order for no one to catch me, I always hide right under their noses. I always use my clients' IP addresses if I do the work for them. My job is to test every security system in a company by implanting a virus and figuring out how fast they can take my virus. I always have to prepare an anti-virus because usually the virus I developed is not able to be penetrated.

To date, no company has been able to defeat my virus, except one company. I forgot the name but the company embarrassed me half to death because they were able to conquer my virus in just under two minutes. Honey, the owner of the company shut it down before I took revenge on them.

"How about your laptop? When do you want to monitor them on your phone?" ask Brenda who pulled me from my daydream.

"The boss has sent a new laptop and about the day after tomorrow has arrived. I don't want to bother myself with buying a new laptop and replacing all those laptop systems. I could eat two days!" grumbling.

"What's your reason for the boss to send a new laptop?"

I grinned wide. "I told you that my laptop was slammed and if he didn't send it as soon as possible, my data would be lost. You know how much she loves my job, right?" my answer. "I'm not totally lying, am I?"

...***...

I knocked on the computer lab door quietly. When I heard the answer from inside, I opened it. Davin glanced at me and then his eyes returned to the computer in front of him. I went to him and held out a paper to him. He received the letter while raising next to his eyebrows.

"It's not a love letter, is it?" guess it flat.

I'm shaking. "Bapak said I can get into the computer and said Mr. Yusron I can not enter if I do not have an exkul request letter that must be signed by Mr" I replied while repeating Yusron's speech this afternoon.

Davin opened the letter and immediately signed it without reading it first. He returned the letter to me.

"Sit wherever you like" he said, which made me frown. She's staring. "A few hours more excretions begin. It is good that you come first because you do not need to fight for a seat. So please choose the bench you like."

I shrugged my shoulders and sat on the front bench and closest to Davin's desk in the middle. I turned on the computer and leaned my body while keeping an eye on Davin. The more I looked, the more I felt like I had seen him before. Damn, I can't remember where I met him. He seemed to realize that I was watching because he suddenly lifted his head and looked back at me.

"You want to talk to me about something?" tanyakanya.

I'm shaking. "No, just curious about you, sir" I replied as it was.

He seemed interested in my answer. He leaned in and looked at me while smothering haughtily. "Curious? Why?"

"Because you remind me of someone I can't remember. You don't have to feel like I'm cheap because I don't intend to remember" I added so as not to make him confident.

But hearing my answer, he smiled. Bizarrely. Why is he smiling?

"Oh, I never felt you were cheap" he replied. "You better be careful. People you don't usually remember will eventually become important to you."

I scrunched my forehead because I was confused by her words. Just now I wanted to ask but I held my tongue as the laboratory door opened. Stella came in with a piece of paper that was given to Davin. Stella, who was aware of my presence, just stared at me fiercely and sat on the bench furthest from my stool. I just smiled faintly and returned to my busyness, continuing to look at Davin.

My attention was shifted as my phone vibrated in my skirt pocket. As I was about to pick up my phone, Davin called my name.

"It is forbidden to use a cell phone during school hours" he reminded me. But I threw my sweetest smile at him.

"Unfortunately it's outside of school hours. Did you forget that we actually went home from school?" I returned my phone to my ear.

"I'm taking her home from school. There's a delivery for you" Braxton said without greeting me.

"From Scottie?" askaku expectantly.

"He's your boss and you call him Scottie?" he asked in a surprised tone. "Anyway, I also brought your old laptop and your gear. You'll be unloading in the car."

"Why not at home?" I asked strangely.

"We have a guest and there is no way you can go back to your original home if the guest has not returned. Well, I was surprised when I saw him coming."

I raise my eyebrows. Bizarrely. I have no friends here and neither Brenda nor Braxton are likely to have their friends coming because this is the first time they have come to Indonesia after they left the country twenty years ago.

"Who?" ask me confused.

"The Minister."

I jumped out of my chair. "What is he doing there?" How did he find my house?

"Ah, don't ask me. Brenda said you better not come home before she leaves. She'll try her best to find out what's going on" Braxton replied trying to calm me down. "I picked up in an hour" he added before hanging up.

I put my phone in my skirt. Honestly, I panicked. Why did the minister meet Brenda? And how did he find my apartment? Is my cover exposed?

"Florence? You all right?" ask Davin who surprised me. I lifted my head and saw that he was standing next to me.

I'm shaking. "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm just—" I didn't finish my speech because some other kids started entering the computer lab room. I lowered my hand because I had been biting my thumb's fingernails out of anxiety.

"You sure you're okay? You're pale" Davin added and I replied with a faint smile.

"I'm fine, sir," I replied after I managed to normalize my voice. But he doesn't seem to believe.

Davin looked at me once again but I was staring at my computer screen. I felt relaxed as he left his place standing and sat down on his stool. Not long after, the exculpation began. I don't understand and don't focus on what Davin says. He said computer formulas that I couldn't digest. I was busy finding out about the minister through the computer in front of me. The results weren't too much because I searched through Google and it didn't help. My attention was shifted when an online chat came in. I saw the sender of the chat and I immediately turned my head to Stella's place, the person who sent the chat.

Why did you find out about my book?

I just kind of typed fast.

It's none of your business!

It seemed that he did not accept it and immediately replied.

That's my business and that's definitely my business! What do you want to know about my dad??

I shook my head a few times while clucking. I faced her, reached for my computer mouse and pressed the red X button to close the chat. I move my lips and say 'Not Lo's business without a sound. He looked annoyed and I went straight back to my position.

Seems like sitting in this place was a big mistake. I am not free because the person behind me can see what I am doing. Starting next week, I'll be sitting in my usual place.

I frowned as my computer screen suddenly turned off. Davin said that their system was down, again. The culprit is definitely not me. I did nothing but find out about the Minister. I waited long enough because the system had not returned to how it was.

"It looks like the problem is quite big. You guys wait here for a second" Davin said and left the computer lab.

I'm sighing. At least only nosy students who open sites that should not be opened. I waited for about fifteen minutes and Davin did not return. I'm getting impatient. I plugged my flash drive into the hole of the USB that was on the computer carefully so that no one would see me. I pressed the power button long enough on my computer's CPU and my computer automatically turned off. I counted five seconds and then pressed the same button again. Not long after, my computer screen went on and I fixed the system immediately using the program I had created to prevent the school system from going down as fast as I could before Davin returned. Not long after, the system was back on and so were all the computers in the room. I looked for the origin of the virus and frowned.

Why did this virus come from Davin's computer?
