Alice sighed softly as she closed the call from Edgar. Her smile instantly disappeared as she recalled how she had lost the man and was matched by a man who had never really loved her.

“But you love him too right?” Mala pout.

“He is pregnant with my dear child, I will not let go,” Calvin replied firmly.

“Yesterday morning, where are you from?” alice asked stalely, dismissing Calvin's soft hand that would touch his face. But her lips kept smiling manipulating her heart wound.

“A-I'm at the office staying,” he said as he nodded confirming his own remarks.

“You're busy apparently, why come back? Something you forgot?” ask Alice who is sitting on the bed.

“I-it, I have some files that I have to take,” his heart has actually been beating very fast, inexplicably he is very afraid.

“Darling you sweat, why?” alice asked seeing the sweat on her husband's forehead, in her heart she would reply to this in full.

Calvin rubbed his face, relieving his nervousness and Alice fell for seeing her husband's stupidity. “you are sick? Why is your face paled dear?”
