The next day, Alice would be as busy as ever, checking the report Samuel had sent her. He sat on the bed, with his legs straight ahead and his hands busy holding the tablet.
Alice glanced at Calvin who was squirming with her eyes closed. After that, his hand looked for something next to him
Until the hand was about to touch the belly, Alice brushed it off and made the owner open his eyes.
"Look at your hand, sir". Alice said, her gaze still straight at the tablet in her hand.
Calvin shifted his body closer, and hugged the belly with an anxious "Daddy's son, don't be as fierce as Mommy huh". Calvin spoke to his son, ignoring Alice's stare which looked at him sharply.
"Bagunlah, I've prepared your bath water". Staring toward Calvin who was ogah-ogahan heard.
"Calv, don't tell me you're not going to the office anymore? It's been three days".
"Darling....".
Alice just stared intently at Calvin, somehow the man did not want to go to the office and reasoned with a headache. Gaining a murderous gaze, Calvin finally got off the bed and went to the bathroom.
It is true, after bathing it feels much fresher. Calvin came out wearing a white t-shirt and a towel wrapped around his waist.
His hands ruffled his half-dry hair. Makes Alice gulp. Her husband is very handsome if his appearance is relaxed like this.
"I know you must be tempted, right?" seductress Calvin raised his eyebrows.
"No". Just cut it and go straight to the bathroom
Calvin chuckled, he could see the red face of his wife, the woman must have missed him, but he was ashamed to ask.
A few minutes later, Calvin was at the table eating, still enjoying Hans's tea, he heard the hell behind him and turned his head.
The handsome man furrowed his brows watching Alice from top to bottom "Darling, don't tell me you'll be back in your company again? You're not tired of just arriving?" The omelette stood up and the pregnant woman sat down.
Alice did not reply, she drank the milk at the dinner table which was almost cold. Calvin was anxious to be ignored again.
"Alice Advance..!".
Hearing her name mentioned so clearly made Alice turn her head and look at her husband.
"You're coming back, you forgot you were pregnant?" Calvin was furious but he tried to resist not raising his voice.
"I'm going to the company indeed".
Calvin clucked, he was already furious. Can't this woman just stay home? His wealth will not run out just to support his wife's child.
"I know, you're the CEO, you're needed, but baby-"
"I'm going to your company". Alice replied casually and went back to eating her food.
"A-what?"
"Hm, we're going to the office together, to your office".
Calvin was confused, what's wrong? This is Alice's first time to her office
"Seriously?". Which was held steady by Alice.
Sure enough after Calvin's breakfast brought Alice to his office, Calvin was of course very happy, he would be with his wife all day. His smile continued to expand.
"Stop your smile, Calv, who are you going to spread your charm on?".
"You should know, I'm happy".
"Happy? Why?"
"Don't pretend, I've seen your grades in school and you're very smart".
"Okay, now stop your smile or you're just gonna make every woman run to you".
"You jealous?".
Alice let out her head looking at how tall the building was in front of her, no comment. He got out of the car when Calvin opened the door.
Some who see them secretly talking about Alice's beauty, those who have never attended a big party will not know who the woman who walks with her boss is.
But for other higher-ups they will realize that this beautiful woman is the wife of a handsome CEO beside her.
"Why wear shoes that high?" calvin grumbled as the two of them were about to enter the elevator. He only realized that his wife was pregnant when he accidentally noticed his wife's clothes.
Alice uses a dress along the top of the knee patterned red green with a belt attached above the upper abdomen to support the chest. Combined with red hell.
"I have to be beautiful, so I cut-off"
"Don't force me, you'll always be beautiful in my eyes".
Alice lazily replied, she just wanted to get to her husband's room and release her hell.
Sure enough to arrive in the room Alice sat down in the sofa and release her hell.
"Oh, it's exhausting"
Alice straightened her legs on the sofa, trying to massage her extremely tired calves. Calvin saw it and stepped closer to his wife and sat down on the edge of the sofa at the wife's feet.
"How, is it not sick?". He said he helped with the massage, which Alice immediately gave him a smile.
Moments later, as the husband and wife were in a good mood, the door opened, Alice turned her head back to see who had come in and knocked on the door.
Calvin stood up after seeing who had come. Alice who saw her husband standing up, turning herself around and lowering her legs down, she did not stand up just silently to see what would happen after this.
"You forgot how to knock on the door, Laura?"
"Sir, I'm sorry". Laura's gaze turned towards Calvin who had previously stared dislikefully at Alice.
Calvin stepped into his chair and sat down with a flat look.
"Say?".
"Master, Luce said"
"You didn't hear wrong, I did transfer you to a branch company out of town".
Alice who heard that only knitted her eyebrows, stood up and put on the plate sandals that Calvin had provided earlier.
"You're still working on it, Calv"..
"Darling, understand, I promise he won't show up in your face". Alice clucked and looked at Laura deeply.
Laura who caught Alice's annoyed face took advantage of the situation. "Alright Sir, I'm willing, I believe you won't fire me".
"There's no certainty about that".
Laura smiled wryly, but she would not stop. "I understand, sir, thank you". Laura bends. Then looked at Alice sharply.
"Mrs, thank you, I promise I won't do anything wrong again". Said ambiguous.
Laura bowed and said goodbye to Calvin, he stepped out, but when he and Alice were close to each other, because Alice was standing near the door.
Laura leaned a little shoulder to get closer to Alice "Get your husband, or I'll snatch it from you". Whispering in Alice's ear, Alice clenching her hands, Laura continued, "Look, even to fire me she can't, you know what that means?"
After saying that and seeing how Alice's reddened face was, Laura passed. Leaving the couple in silence.
Calvin approached his wife who looked very angry, I don't know what Laura said earlier. Calvin only saw that Laura was whispering something.
"Darling, are you okay?"
Alice nodded, and smiled, she did not expect the two brothers to actually make her dizzy.
