Chapter 18 | Should I take them

"Lord of blood..."

Mr. Thomas who saw it immediately told Edgar to take Alice to the hospital.

Calvin was still staring, seeing his wife being picked up and taken Edgar out of the Mansion but after he realized he ran and followed where they were going.

At the hospital, Calvin just paced back and forth at the door, while the others sat in the chair waiting to notice how anxious Calvin was.

"Sit down, sir, I'm sure everything will be fine". Said Mr. Thomas.

Meanwhile, Arabella takes a nurse to treat the wound on her master's face. "Sir, you better treat the wound first".Said Bella sitting next to Edgar.

Edgar just nodded and followed the nurse who had been standing there waiting for him. Calvin sat down, he was so sorry he had just gotten the news that his wife was pregnant yet so soon he had to hear the shocking thing that his wife loved another man.

"Huh". He breathed slowly.

"What if something happens to the baby". Mumbled slowly.

After dinner Calvin did go up to the room he would sleep because his head was again dizzy, but after waiting for some time Alice did not also go up, he finally decided to go down following. But after he found out the whereabouts of his wife, he who was originally going to give a surprise finally failed because he knew other facts.

"Alice, how do you feel about Mister?"

"Either from when I felt something in my heart when I saw it, I would be disturbed when he was not in my eyes, until I finally realized I liked him, the further he was out of my sight, the more I fall in love with him".

After hearing that Calvin clenched his hands and climbed back into the room, he waited for Alice until the woman went up. And that made her very upset when Alice said she was going to Mr. Thomas's room while she knew Edgar was inside.

"Take it easy, sometimes what we hear is not entirely true, try if something is wrong finish well". Mr. Thomas patted the sturdy shoulder slowly like a strength.

After a while waiting for the doctor to come out looking for the patient's family. Calvin was already standing but when he saw Edgar coming he stopped his steps, Edgar realized that.

"Will I go with the doctor or you as her husband?" Edgar looked at it flatly. There is no answer Calvin is too afraid of the fact that if the baby is really the baby then he will be very hurt if there is a bad right.

Sighing heavily. Edgar went with the doctor. Alice still hadn't woken up so they hadn't been allowed to see her.

While Alice was transferred to the room Calvin was still sitting regretting his anger.he sat down with his hands covering his face.

Arabella saw that, the sweet lady knew a little what was happening, for indeed she saw Calvin last night leaving after hearing their chat.

He saw Edgar come out with the doctor, the doctor's face was very tired, and sleepy it was still midnight and this made them all have to be here.

"Bella, you go back with my father, you're a wife so we can come back tomorrow". Said Edgar who managed to disturb Calvin's ears.

"No matter sir, we can postpone going home, Alice's recovery is much more important". He said he disagreed.

"No, but you're a bagaima-"

"No problem, I can still wait" glanced at Calvin. The man kept his face covered.

"Well, now you better go home with my father, this morning when Alice wakes up I'll let you know".

Bella nodded and stood up to Mr. Thomas who had been waiting for her. The old man did look very tired at his age who was no longer young.

"Get in her room, she'll be so happy to open your eyes". He said he was still staring ahead. He realized that the more his love days also grew, again he was sure Alice was the same, but he would not be selfish any way among them there are more entitled to love, but he was not the same, there are other lives among them.

"Whatever she's your wife, there's a child in her womb who needs you". Edgar said again because Calvin did not respond.

"Isn't he your son". Calvin turned his head and looked coldly at Edgar.

"What do you mean?" He stood up and looked at Calvin who was also standing.

"I know you and Alice loved each other a long time ago, and that's why she asked for a divorce because the child in her womb was your child" she said.

"Fuck, you said the child in the womb wasn't your child? That's how he looked in your eyes, asshole?" Edgar was no less angry to hear the man in front of him talking nonsense.

Unprepared for Edgar Calvin's movement fell down and did not have time to brace themselves until two security guards who saw the commotion broke their fight.

"Listen to me, if you really don't want the kid, don't accuse him of that insult". After saying that Edgar let go of the security handrails that had passed him earlier and left Calvin for Alice's room.

He pulled up a chair and sat down next to the woman he loved. His hands clenched as he recalled how Calvin did not consider the baby in Alice's arms to be his child.

He grabbed the still weak hand, grasping it. Sighing heavily he continued to stare at the pale face of Alice and then looked at the stomach which was already a little distended.

"I didn't know that this little girl was going to be Mommy soon". He said chuckling considering how naughty little Alice was always bothering him.

"I'm sorry, if I had the courage back then, I would have expressed my feelings sooner, and we would have been happy together". He clasped the hand and did nothing more even though he wanted to.

Outside Calvin could only clench his hands. After he was about to leave he heard Alice sober.

"You awake?" edgar sounded very happy. Alice only smiled faintly.

"Are you here?" Weak question. Then his gaze turned towards the door like it was waiting for someone.

"Where's Calvin?" the question that Calvin still hears outside.

"Let me call". Edgar stood up and was about to call Calvin, but Alice stopped him "He must be very angry, he thought the boy I was holding was not his son". After saying that Alice looks panicked "A-my child ....?".

"He's fine, fortunately, although the bleeding doesn't hurt him, he's as strong as his Mommy". Edgar explained what the doctor said.

"Mm, because of him I survived, and now his father doesn't admit it". Alice replied weakly. "I'm not the best I can be". Sutely answered.

"Maybe he just misunderstood, because I'm so handsome". Edgar jokingly hid the pain. She could see her Alice had already turned away now.

Calvin just silently heard how the two people inside, his anger slightly melted to hear Alice looking for him.

As he was about to leave Edgar stopped him "You really don't want to see him? Should I really take them both for your accusations to be true?".

After saying that Edgar passed, leaving Calvin still at the door.
