Chapter 12 | Very handsome

The morning at Alice's room everyone had gathered in the dining room, Alice who was seen eating a lot had made her father and Edgar a little surprised. But then they ignored it because they thought it might be a new habit from Alice.

Because last night neither Alice nor Edgar spoke, seeing that Mr. Thomas finally melted the awkward atmosphere that began to feel.

"How are you sleeping, miss?" He asked Arabella, who had been watching her son ever since, and the middle-aged man knew what kind of gaze this beautiful woman gave to her son.

"Very good sir, thank you, your Mansion is huge and comfortable". Bella's smile was sincere.

"Thank you, son but this Mansion belongs to my daughter Alice-"

"That means father's too". Alice cut because she never felt comfortable when it came to property.

Alice continued, "Well, I have to leave immediately, I have a meeting". Standing up and kissing his adoptive father's cheek then passed, ignoring Edgar's invitation to drop him off.

Alice drove the car at medium speed, she still had two hours for the meeting just now she was pretending to be in a hurry because she could not linger one table with Edgar.

"I'll finish this job and get back home". Mumbled. Yeah she better get back to her husband's town. He still has an apartment that Calvin doesn't know about.

And as always when he doesn't want to go home he'll stay there as long as he wants.

In front of the tall and sturdy building, Alice's 'Acgroup' company building descended and sighed softly then rose, ignoring how the employees looked.

Some of them do not know that Alice is the original owner because all this time she was replaced by a confidant. Taking care and managing, it could be said Alice was the person behind that screen.

Up to the top floor. The high hell echoed along the corridor, Vienna secretary Samuel bowed and greeted their great boss.

In the room Samuel stood up and gave a place for Alice to sit on the oversized chair. As long as Alice is not in office, Samuel will assume the role of interim CEO.

"How was your trip, Miss?" Samuel asked with a warm smile.

"Don't be too formal brother, and you forgot we met yesterday before I went home to the mansion". Alice rolled her eyes, because her cousin's behavior was beyond reason.

Among all the cousins Alice had she only trusted Samuel with her. Because the young man who was two years older with him was very honest according to him, again this also meant the will of his late parents.

They had already seen how little Samuel grew up and turned into a youth to be proud of.

Samuel chuckled at how annoyed his sister was. "You gonna be here long?" answered by Alice.

"Why?

"I have a family too". Alice doesn't want to be asked more. There was no way he would say that he could not linger because there was Edgar, even though he did not know the man who managed to seize his heart in the past until when it would be here.

"Ah, well.you always think of your husband, I wonder you've been married for almost two years but his nose was never seen". Pissed.

"He's busy, how can he come". Kilah again.

The two cousins continued to tell a lot, until the clock showed the meeting was about to begin. Samuel and Alice's private secretary Vienna entered and bowed slightly to say that the board was already in the meeting room.

"Alright Madam, as your request".

In the meeting room Samuel explained what obstacles they experienced during this month that most likely made their marketing results decrease.

All listened well, and were determined to cooperate wholeheartedly. To date, none of them have been seen cheating. That's what makes Alice very proud and do not hesitate to add funds to them.

After the meeting Alice did not go home immediately, she went back to her room, did not even go down for lunch, she would have lunch upstairs with Samuel alone.

"You're sure that he was involved in my parents' murder?" Alice asked Samuel who had just finished drinking.

"Possibly, I've even sent some of my men to terrorize his sister".

"Sister?" Alice asked, who was taken directly by Samuel.

"Uncle Antonio has a sister?". Alice doesn't really know about this, because she only knows that her Daddy has another sister's mother. And that makes Samuel sure that the incident that befell his uncle was Antonio because at the funeral he saw his movements that look suspicious.

"Alice gripped the spoon still in her hand. His anger peaked.even his tears had not come out because his emotions had reached the crown.

"Hold a little while longer, when everything proves we're gonna make the calculations on him".

There's no answer. And Samuel already meant it was consent.

After lunch at the large Mansion was seen Edgar not as usual who looked very calm, this time he just kept looking at the clock that was coiled in his hand. Arabella knew it. The beautiful girl since yesterday just kept quiet, she did not know how to behave in this place especially when she found out that this large mansion belonged to the woman her man loved.

"Master, you better call Miss if you're worried". Tawar Arabella is still sitting on the living room sofa.

Sighs slowly and sits next to Bella "You've had lunch?" Ask her.

"Not yet, later". Bella replied awkwardly

"Let's eat out". Edgar stood up and stepped up before hearing Bella's voice behind him

"Don't pay too much attention to me like this sir, it will make me look even more miserable".

Edgar turned to see Bella standing up to him "I can see how happy you were when you saw Miss yesterday, and I admit she was so beautiful and kind". Bella smiled then continued "I'm alone as a woman really like to see it". Her little chuckle hid the tightness in her chest.

"I'm sorry, back off before you're too sick". Edgar's ink he knows how Arabella's wounds. But she can't lie to not want Alice, anymore when she finds out that her woman loves her too.

He felt very dizzy after their distance was so far away, why should there be this fact.

"Hm, it seems like I should step back, you guys look better together, she's beautiful and Mr. is very handsome". Hearing that Edgar hugged Bella. He's not really good, but it's better. Bella will get a partner who loves her later.

She also doesn't know if fate can take her with Alice or doesn't see her married and happy woman.

He's pretty happy to be here together or not as long as they know loving each other is enough.
