Chapter 15 | Is Satisfied

Edgar stepped his long legs leaving Calvin with a raging feeling, he wanted to get angry, but to whom?

Alice saw Edgar who had just left Calvin, not knowing what they were talking about. But he felt that something was not okay.

"Sister..". Call him soft as Edgar passes by.

Edgar wanted to pass ignoring Alice but his body refused, he stopped and flipped over. "Hm, congratulations on your pregnancy". He said smiling awkwardly.

"Thank you, ak-". Not yet finished he said regular footsteps sounded closer towards the two of them. Edgar did not take a glance at all, he only focused on the face in front of him who had turned his head towards the source of the voice.

"Sir Edgar, are you satisfied to see how beautiful my wife is?" Said Calvin who had reached Alice's waist possessively.

Edgar just clucked softly "And your wife is already like a sister to you". He said as he patted Calvin's shoulder gently and left them both behind.

"Don't repeat it again". Alice said leaving Calvin still confused as to why his wife looked upset.

"I just don't want any man other than me to see you like that". He evened their footsteps. Alice who heard was silent.

"Have you guys been so close?" calvin asked his wife, who looked very busy

"No, we're not as close as you think". He replied while fixing her clothes, Alice had now changed clothes, more formal.

"You're going to the office?" which was answered only by Alice. "You're pregnant, baby".

"Don't worry I'll always be careful".

"That's why I'm worried". He had already hugged his wife from behind, inhaling the scent of lavender that Alice had always used. Really win.

"When are you back?" Alice asked Calvin to stop her hand from moving on the surface of Alice's shirt. He likes to stroke that slightly distended stomach.

"We'll get back together, again I have a little business with your father". He said he made Alice turn around.

"Dad? Father Thomas you mean?"

"Hm, yes there is a little business, I've asked for a while ago".

Alice wanted to ask a lot of things, but the call from her cousin Samuel was urgent, they would go down in the field today checking the land they had just bought.

As for Edgar, this was the first time he returned after Alice's wedding, He and Thomas were given a special room by Alice's parents but after Alice's parents passed away and married him more often in his mansion.

In his study, Mr. Thomas was sitting on the couch with a file on the table.

"So you're going to remove all the agreements you made?" said ensure.

"It was better, again that time I was so stupid that I made that absurd agreement".

"And you're ready for the consequences?" Ask again.

"My wife is more important, at least by canceling the deal, I only lost twenty percent of the shares, the house and one hotel unit right?"

Mr. Thomas nodded.

"Then let's cancel, I have no problem with any of it" he said confidently.

"But it seems like you're forgetting the last point" Thomas said, of course, to Calvin's confusion, why there's a final point isn't he himself making the deal, and as he remembered, just writing it down.

"Mr once promised that Mister would not get my daughter pregnant within two years because Mister would not see her as a wife, and if that happens you would take off everything you have".

Well Calvin remembered this point, at that time Calvin did not intend to be betrothed he was overwhelmed with anger so making a pact does not make sense because it is very hateful about marriage.

Calvin wrote that. He wouldn't want to know all about Alice, not with her residence nor her company. After a long chat Calvin finally returned to his wife's Mansion, it was still very late, and he was sure the pregnant woman had not returned, then what would she be now?

He stepped up in the room, maybe he will rest for a while, in fact he has been feeling very dizzy for a few days.maybe because of his work and household matters. He had to think about many things from now on.

One year up, he laid his head on the pillow for only a moment and the snoring sound was heard. Calvin's asleep.

In a different place Alice had just reached the office again after going around looking at the land she had just bought, she would set up a renovation center there she was sure that in the future it would be very profitable.

"I'm so tired". He said he leaned back on the sofa with his eyes closed.

"Drink, I told you to let me get there you can see it from the monitor". Edgar answered. Yes, this morning Edgar went to Alice's office, led by Samuel.

Edgar and Samuel were like brothers, they grew up together in the Alice Mansion. No wonder he was suddenly there.

"You should know I'm very strong". He said he was still closing his eyes.

"You're strong but what about your baby?". Edgar's words made Samuel who was with them very surprised.

"Babies? Whose baby?" Said stammering.

Neither Edgar nor Alice spoke."Alice are you pregnant? Whose son? Sonmh Edgar?" samuel's question certainly made Alice open her eyes and straighten up.."Watch your talk, brother, if anyone else hears it's gonna be dangerous". Said Alice warning but with adorable mimicry.

"Ha haha .I'm sorry, I just guessed because only this time I saw you guys are so familiar". He said he made Edgar roll lazy eyes.

"You're not in a relationship, are you?".
