The Duda's Beloved Girl

The Duda's Beloved Girl
14. An occurrence

Lala is back selling in the market, he serves every buyer who comes to his yard well. During the day he took off yesterday it turned out that many were waiting for him to buy his chili. Today he made good money from sales.

Lala wiped away her sweat that started pouring out from the sultry. After serving all his buyers Lala sat down casually while opening her rice wrapper.

This morning Lala did not have time for breakfast at home which is why she bought packaged rice for her breakfast. Lala began to feed the rice into her mouth. He only eats with his hands.

Then his eyes saw the atmosphere of the market that was getting crowded. His gaze was fixed on the new trader who also sold chili at the end of the field there. Lala noticed that Lala felt something strange.

As the merchant began to weigh the chili, what Lala saw was that he deliberately reduced the chili after being weighed. Lala believes the man committed fraud. He just shook his head.Such merchants are traders who usually look for profit in a dirty way.

When Lala was busy enjoying the food arrived the merchant she had seen approached her while looking at her fiercely. Lala raised her face and looked towards the female merchant.

“What's up?” lala asked with an unfriendly expression.

The female merchant returned Lala's gaze with an unhappy look. It seemed like he realized that Lala saw the action from earlier.

“I know you saw what I did earlier, just be careful if you dare to spread to people!” threaten her.

Lala pulled the corner of her lips as if to mock her. “That's your business, I don't want to interfere either. But what you should know is as good as anything you hide the carcass someday will definitely smell too,” he replied.

“I make sure no one will know, even if that person knows, this will definitely be you! And I won't stay silent. Know you!” grit the merchant woman again.

“Oh,” reply Lala with no regard for it. Lala would rather continue her breakfast than serve such a person. There he was just wasting time.

The merchant clucked in annoyance as he stomped his feet and left feeling haughtily at Lala who did not listen to his words. Lala shrugged her shoulders indifferently. If the merchant thought Lala would bow to his words then he was wrong. Lala is not afraid of anyone in this market. Almost all traders in the market recognize Lala. And they're all very good to him.

“Excuse neng,”

When Lala had finished her breakfast an old beggar came to her yard. Lala looked straight.

“Eh yes ma'am, can I help you?” ask Lala kindly.

The female beggar held her stomach while looking at the package of food Lala was holding. “That food pack can make me not neng? I think I saw some vegetables there.

“Sorry mom, it's leftovers. I can't give my mom any leftovers. But I can give my mother money to buy food,” Lala said as she took out ten thousand in her wallet and gave it to the old beggar.

“This is ma'am, please accept yes. I sincerely gave it to mom,” Lala smiled while giving the money away.

The old beggar accepted it with pleasure. His face twinkled when the money was already in his grasp. The beggar looked towards Lala and smiled.

“There are many yes, son. May Allah always repay your kindness,” the beggar said to Lala.

Lala nodded while looking at the beggar's teeth. In his heart he was grateful because even though his life was simple at least he had a home and money to eat and drink. Lala could not bear to see the state of the beggar who was no longer like a human being. Her shabby clothes and her thin physical condition were dry.

“That's a hundred and fifty thousand in total, sir,” said the waiter who delivered Devan's order to his desk.

Devan nodded and gave the servant two pieces of red money.

“The return is just take you, that's a tip from me,” Devan replied.

“Thank you sir,” reply the waiter.

After receiving his food, Devan rushes to his car to get somewhere. He runs his car towards the market that Lala usually sells there. Devan wants to spend his lunch with Lala. Upon his arrival at the market, Devan looks for a place to park his car. This time he did not want to just park anymore because he was afraid of being visited by other market visitors.

After finding the right parking space, Devan immediately parked his car and immediately went down with the food in his hands.

Devan crossed the street and entered the market still with his office clothes. Devan jostles in the market to meet the girl. I don't know what kind of magic Lala used to get a Devan to do that.

When Devan was almost at the Lala field, from a distance Devan saw Lala's merchandise that was broken apart by people. Lala looked frightened and begged them to stop. Not that the more they stop, the more they become. The people around him were not even helpful

Devan clenched his hands tightly, his sturdy jaw hardened seeing Lala being treated like that. Without thinking any longer Devan headed straight there. He put down his food and hit them one by one.

“How dare you do that to him,” infuriated Devan at them by continuing to blow his punch in a tubi.

“Heh, who are you?! Interfere with our problems. If you do not know what do not interfere dong,” protest one of the men who just hit Devan.

Devan glanced at Lala who was kneeling while crying. Then refocus on that person. “then now tell me what's your reason for doing that?” he asked with his sharp eyes.

“He sold dishonestly, he reduced the scales when we bought the chili earlier,” said one of the men with thick mustache.

Devan shook his head quickly.

“He's not that kind of person! What is the evidence that he reduced the scales? You said you bought the chili. Now where's the chili you bought? Why are your hands empty,” urged Devan who made them silent a thousand languages.
