The Duda's Beloved Girl

The Duda's Beloved Girl
11. Start to improve

Siti smiles at Devan, a smile Devan never thought she would. Looks like Siti has already started to impress Devan.

“Lala, you're out for a minute. I want to talk there, son Devan.”

“What's the problem bu?”

“Later you will know. Get out first son,”

Lala nodded and obeyed Siti's words to get out. He was very curious about what his mother would say and so Lala chose to stand outside listening.

After making sure Lala had come out, Siti refocused on Devan who was in front of her at the moment. Siti did not speak anything but watched Devan from top to bottom. Devan felt like he was being selected when he was stared at by Siti.

“Are you really thirty?” siti asked as if she could not believe what Devan had said earlier. How could he not say that, in his eyes, Devan was currently like a young man who was only twenty-four years old. His athletic body and handsome face make Devan look young. That's why Siti isn't sure about Devan's age.

Devan sighed rather than he answered and Siti increasingly distrusted it better Devan showed the evidence alone. Devan reached into his pants pocket and took his wallet. After that he took his ktp and showed it to Siti.

“Please see, mom. I'm sure you'll be more trusting if you see ktp it.” Answer Devan.

Siti takes the ktp from Devan's hand and checks it herself. He nodded his head after seeing that and returned it to Devan.

“Then how do you know about Lala?! I'm sure Lala never gave you a home address. Even from what I saw you seemed to know if I was sick,”

Devan had expected it, this question would definitely come out just like that. Instead of having to bother looking for a reason, Devan better tell the truth. Finally Devan told everything from the beginning until finally Devan told Aris to find out Lala just from the license plate of his blind motorbike.

Siti shut up and listened to everything, she could tell Devan was not an ordinary person just from the story.

“Mother, just relax. I didn't mean anything bad by finding out all that. I did it because I was curious about Lala.”

Lala who heard everything was also surprised, it turns out Devan found out all about him since the incident. Lala also still remembered Devan who arrived at the market and noticed him from a distance. That means it's not accidental, but part of Devan's own plan.

This is how Lala doesn't like Devan any more. For Lala Devan nothing more than a critic*t. He relied only on his power to approach him.

Lala immediately left, she no longer wanted to hear what her mother and Devan were talking about. Lala was already upset. Finally Lala just sat on the porch of his house. Lala sat on the chair and swung her legs while then her eyes looked at the scene of the blue sky that looked bright today. Lala gave a small smile as she looked at the moving cloud clump.

Long as he looked at the clouds, the chair beside him suddenly moved. Lala looked back for a moment and looked back at the sky again.

“You like the sky?” asked Devan who had just come out of Siti's room and approached Lala.

“The sky is beautiful, om. I think anyone who sees it will definitely like it,” Lala replied with a slight taper.

“Same as you, La. I who saw you for the first time already feel interested in you,” continued Devan while looking at the sky as well.

Lala did not answer again, she preferred to enjoy the blue sky that afternoon rather than serving Devan words that she thought were very unimportant to be heard.

“I have permission with your mother, I want to take you on the road! Come, prepare. I will take you to a place that you definitely like very much,” take Devan while looking at Lala.

“It seems that om has talked a lot with my mother,” Lala does not care about Devan's invitation. He still maintained the resentment in his heart towards Devan.

Devan frowned not understanding what Lala meant. Then he remembered Lala being told to come out by the siti to talk to him. Now Devan can understand why Lala is acting like that.

“You're angry with me for finding out about you so aren't you?! You seem to also consider me a haughty man like the one you had in mind. You don't know me completely. My advice, try to get to know someone from within. Don't just look outside. I'm sorry if you think I like that,”

Devan got up from the chair, it seemed like he had to undo his intention to push Lala out. The mood of the girl did not seem good either. Devan won't force it.

“I'm sorry, if so! Sorry if I had to step inside your house,”

Devan picks up his car keys and prepares to get into it. While Lala was just silent while directing her gaze at Devan. Lala suddenly felt guilty because of her attitude today to Devan. It seems Devan was offended by it. When Devan wants to get in the car. Lala immediately chased after Devan and called out his name.

“Wait, om!” call him Devan.

“What's up?” devan asked, closing the car door.

“I want to apologize, because my attitude today seems to me to offend. Sorry I am om,”

“Why do you think like that?”

Lala lowered her head looking at the ground she was stepping on.

“I think om was offended for just leaving right away. But I don't actually play like that. I'm just a little upset,”

Devan smiled faintly, looking at Lala who looked down like that made her look like she had scolded a child. Devan raised his hand and pointed it at Lala's head. He rubbed Lala's hair and scrambled it a little with his anxiety. Lala who felt the gentle rubbing raised her head looking at the two eyes Devan had fixed.

“I'm not offended, I'm not leaving because I'm offended. I just don't want to make your mood worse because of my presence here. You don't have to apologize, it's not your fault,”

“Fixed, I have to apologize equally. Sorry I did, om.” Lala said it sincerely.

“Alright, I'm sorry. How about that apology you join me to take the road,”

“Where are you, om?”

“Secret, but I'm sure you'll like it. How's it? Want to?”

“Iya I'm coming, om. I want to say goodbye to mom first,”

Devan nodded and allowed Lala to leave.
