20. Night seal

Aryo woke up from her sleep after hearing a knock on the door of her room and heard the sound of someone calling her at this moment.

“Young master, please come to headquarters” page said a soldier assigned to pick up Aryo.

“Good, let's get there” replied Aryo and start stepping forward.

The two now began to walk towards the courtyard of the headquarters and when Aryo found the old man was already there first. Aryo greeted the old man and replied with a smile by the old man. The two were standing and facing the gate of their headquarters.

“Why is it so crowded in the morning uncle? It's like it's not usually” asked Aryo to open the conversation.

“Young master, there was actually an unexpected thing that happened last night. Our troops who were on guard last night found a strange thing that they just saw” replied the old man.

“Hal weird? What is uncle?” ask Aryo back.

The old man now explained what had happened. According to the statement of the soldiers in charge of guarding the headquarters, that night they managed to catch 2 people who were secretly watching their headquarters from the darkness of the night. The soldiers set a trap to capture the man and 1 of them was captured but another escaped, even to capture this one man some soldiers had to be injured although not severely.

“And one more thing young master, the person who has been arrested this time I saw him” said the old man ended his explanation.

“What uncle mean?” asked Aryo who was immediately curious about the end of the explanation.

“Let my young master take it to where the man is we hold” take the old man.

Aryo did not answer and immediately followed the old man from behind, he wondered in his heart who continued to be curious about what he would see in a moment. Now the two of them entered the room that was not too illuminated by the light it could even be said that the room was a bit dark. Aryo raised his eyebrows because he was wondering why the old man took him to a room that had nothing in it.

“Young master must be astonished by the current state of affairs. Momentarily I will light a torch to illuminate this room” said the old man and started walking towards one of the torches in the room.

Aryo's eyes began to pay attention to the room that had been illuminated by the torch light. When his eyes reached the corner of the room to the right how surprised he was because in the dark like there was a pair of eyeballs who were looking at him sharply. The shocked Aryo retreated 2 steps and instantly pulled the sword from its sheath.

“Young master doesn't have to worry, he won't mess around. Our soldiers have tied him up with chains” said the old man after seeing Aryo's reaction.

The old man had already expected Aryo's reaction like that, because he had also experienced it before. As he was resting in his room in the early morning hours, some soldiers came and informed him that they had captured a spy. The old man immediately rushed over to check on the captured person and soon after his reaction was not much different from the current Aryo.

Now with the help of several spy soldiers it was moved from its position in the corner shifted under the torch which became the lighting in the room. Aryo still had not lowered his sword until he saw the chains binding the person and made him calm down a little.

“Uncle? Just this time I saw him, where did this man come from? And why is she tied up with chains like this?” question after question was thrown by Aryo non-stop.

All his life he had not known the existence of this person in front of him.

When Aryo was still pensive with his confusion he was startled by the screams of the person. That person was blabbering like he was angry but the language that he let out was not the slightest bit Aryo understood. Aryo turned towards the old man and realized the expression of the old man was also the same as him.

“Uncle should we postpone this problem until we find the bright spot of all this. Because I'm sure this guy must be working for our opponent” said Aryo when the guy stopped blabbing.

“Good young master. You quickly plop this guy's mouth and cover his head using a black cloth” replied the old man as well as ordering the soldiers to secure the person they are currently holding hostage.

Now Aryo and the old man went out of the room. But not long after there were soldiers coming and reported that from the outside of the gate saw a lot of armed soldiers complete with horse riding is heading towards the headquarters.
