15. Small request

Aryo was still trying to digest Ki Ratno's words, he didn't understand why Ki Ratno was asking such a thing to him. According to him Ki Ratno mean in his words but for what.

“May I know what Ki Ratno asked for this?” ask Aryo to make sure.

A very loud lightning sound stopped Ki Ratno's words and was immediately followed by another lightning sound. And the rain that night was getting heavier than usual. Ki Ratno hurriedly closed his mouth and instantly the look on his face looked so scared. Even he did not realize his two guests were now in a prostrate position with their hands protecting their heads as well as ears. Aryo and the old man were very surprised by what had happened just now, their faces were pale and their whole bodies did not stop shaking.

It took time for Ki Ratno to regain his composure, he saw that both of his guests were still in a state of prostration and the body did not stop shaking. Ki Ratno invited the two of them to go inside the cottage and told them to take a break.

The two complied and went inside the cottage while trying to sleep to throw away his fear. Ki Ratno was still outside the cottage and looked at the sky as he spoke.

“You guys are so cruel!” Ki Ratno said with a bit of anger.

Lightning returned and now his strike was right in front of Ki Ratno which made him surprised. From within the lightning light was a man and frightened him as he turned around and immediately entered his hut.

That night the three of them tried to sleep but a little distress as the rain continued to fall more and more and more and more lightning continued to emit its loud sound.

Sunlight began to show its form accompanied by the chirping of birds that look very cheerful after a night of intense rain storms. Aryo opened her eyes slowly as sunlight started to hit her face. He woke up and found freshness in his body, although difficulty sleeping but for him last night was the best sleep he had not felt for a long time.

When the servant opened his eyes from behind the open window the servant saw this horse with a state so dirty” replied the old man while continuing to rub his horse.

Aryo did not continue the question anymore and chose to help the elderly man to clean the horse even though the curiosity continued to come and as if all this was related to the incident last night.

“Youth power is always promising, if only this old man who helps might take a long time to finish” said Ki Ratno with a laugh.

Aryo and the old man had already finished cleaning the horse and started packing to continue their journey. It didn't take long before all the equipment was ready. The two then say goodbye and at the same time thank for the help of Ki Ratno.

“No need to hesitate, I'm happy to help you guys. From here we will separate and will never meet again” said Ki Ratno with a look like sadness.

“Thank you very much Ki. Ki Ratno's help will be remembered for the rest of my life. And if there is time I will reply to the services of Ki Ratno later” Aryo replied politely.

“Ahh... That's not necessary, just grant me a small request last night. Do you accept it?” ask Ki Ratno back.

Aryo was silent when the question was discussed again by Ki Ratno, he almost forgot about the request. He then closed his eyes as he exhaled softly before saying he agreed to the request from Ki Ratno.
