18. A hope

The meeting room was still noisy due to the debate on the part of the alliance that asked his colleague to stay and survive the rebellion plan. Some decided to stay but some were more concerned with their safety.

Aryo now sat down while massaging his forehead which now feels so painful. His mind and heart were mixed up, he tried to think of getting a way out. But the more forced to think the more his head hurts because of that.

“Those guests please calm” said the old man when things were still rough.

The talk of a gentleman in fact was not too much piqued by the meeting guests but when the loud voice of a powerful tall man made everyone stop arguing.

“A true swordsman never runs away from a fight!” king Pawan said loudly.

“If you run from here, is it possible in the future you will feel the consequences of all this. If indeed we lose it is better to lose because we have honor, than to run as cowards and live only as an escape!” king Gandi continued after.

The guests of the meeting are now silent. The words uttered by the 2 kings were like a spear piercing their hearts.

“I prefer the fight and risk my life” said a swordsman who was a guest in the meeting.

“If it is fate other wills at least we keep fighting together” continued another swordsman.

Now the meeting room is back noisily as the guests regain their spirits and resolve to stay afloat against the incoming enemy forces.

“Thank you god, at least we can still put up a fight. If indeed our destiny has been determined we will still do it” said Aryo slowly.
